Boswell was served in the Sullivan County Jail, where she was already being held on False Report charges placed in connection to this case.

Grandma Angela Boswell and boyfriend William McCloud have been in some trouble since they were arrested in connection to Evelyn’s amber alert! Authorities were searching for a stolen silver BMW in connection with missing Evelyn. Angie and Billy were caught in the stolen car. They were caught stealing from a Walmart and are banned got life from all Walmart’s! Their next court date is 14 August 2020.

The case against Megan Boswell has not gone to the grand jury yet!  There are 25 hours of interviews of Boswell that have not been viewed yet.  It was said that 1 hour of interviews takes several hours to get through.

A bond hearing is set for May 15th at 9am.  A decision on the bond hearing is set for May 28th at 9am.

May 20th is the next grand jury hearing, it’s unknown if the Boswell case will be heard at that time or if it will be presented in June.

As of right now, Boswell is charged with filing a false police report. Sullivan county law enforcement have started they have identified a person of interest in Evelyn’s case but refused to name the suspected individual due to the ongoing investigation.

Officials in Sullivan county are looking to pass Evelyn Boswell law which would require parents to verbally report their child as missing, abducted, or as a runaway within 48 hours of the child’s disappearance. Failure to do so would be a class C felony.

The district attorney raised Boswell’s bond to $150,000. The DA was concerned She would be a flight risk. Boswell’s initial bond was set at $25,000.

“The immediate Boswell family (excluding Angela Jones Boswell) of Evelyn are in anguish and grief over their loss. It has been a very rough and trying time for everyone. At this time they do not want to speak publicly in regards to the tragedy. They are still trying to process what has happened. They ask for media and the public to respect their wishes. AMBER Alert: Evelyn Mae Boswell

This evening, as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Evelyn Mae Boswell, and acting on new information developed in the case, TBI Agents and Detectives with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office searched a property belonging to a family member of Evelyn’s mother, Megan Boswell, in the 500 block of Muddy Creek Road in Blountville. During the search, investigators discovered human remains believed to be those of the missing 15-month-old girl. The remains will be sent for an autopsy and a positive identification.

The TBI, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI would like to thank the public for their support during the two-week AMBER Alert search for Evelyn Boswell.

The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.

Note: TBI has state that the child found is wearing the same clothes that her mother said she was wearing!  The property where the body was found, Boswell’s father, brother and grandmother all live on the property.

Megan Boswell is charged with falsifying a report.  She stated that Evelyn was in the custody of her father.  What we know via SCSO is that she lied numerous times to law enforcement!

Attorney Brad Sproles waived a preliminary hearing, sending the case to a grand jury for review.

Boswell’s next court appearance is set for 8 May 2020, provided the grand jury returns an indictment.

Captain Andy Seabolt said there have been no new developments in the case as of Monday.

“Many of the rumors being circulated have been sent to us time after time during this investigation. On Saturday, I fielded calls regarding a post that had been made over the weekend in a Facebook group stating Evelyn had been found. Obviously, we will communicate any major development to the media, and it won’t come from a Facebook group in Oregon,” said Seabolt.

A Blountville father and son have been charged with attempted murder after allegedly running a man down with a truck” striking him and knocking him onto the vehicle’s hood — then kicking, punching and beating the victim with a wooden a club.

It reportedly occurred Sunday morning at the home of the father’s estranged wife. The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says the duo were arrested early Monday by patrol officers, while a third suspect also faces charges in the incident.

Tommie Boswell Sr., 42, and Tommy Boswell Jr., 18, are currently held in the Sullivan County jail in Blountville. Each of their addresses are listed as 543 Muddy Creek Road, where the incident occurred. An affidavit states the female resident of the home had separated from Boswell Sr. in October.

Police and court records state Brandon Yates, 25, of Fall Branch, was sleeping on a couch inside the residence. Sometime between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday he was awakened by someone banging on the front door, with Boswell Jr. allegedly busting out the door’s window to enter the home.

Boswell Jr. allegedly carried a wooden club, threatened Yates and told him to leave. Yates says he left the home and began walking down the driveway. The female resident heard the commotion, according to the affidavit, but was in another room when the confrontation occurred.

Yates told police he was halfway down the driveway when he heard a truck’s engine. He reportedly turned around to see a gray pickup” with “Tommy’s Paving” printed on the side” coming towards him. Yates allegedly recognized the driver as Tommie Boswell Sr.

According to the report, Yates began running through the yard in an attempt to get away. Boswell Sr. allegedly drove through the yard after him, striking Yates before he could cross a fence to escape. The report states Yates was flipped onto the hood of Boswell’s Sr.’s truck and rolled off.

The affidavit says Yates attempted to run away but was chased down by the Boswells and an unidentified third man. Boswell Jr. allegedly struck him several times in the head with a wooden club, possibly an axe handle, while the other men repeatedly punched and kicked him.

Yates was eventually able to get away from the suspects and run to a neighboring home. The neighbor drove Yates to the Shell Station on Airport Parkway where he called 911. An ambulance responded to transport Yates, who possibly suffered broken bones, to the hospital for treatment.

The affidavit states a detective contacted Boswell Sr. by phone. When questioned about the incident he allegedly admitted, “the three of us did work him over,” then disconnected the call. A warrant was issued for the arrest of he and his son, with each located Monday morning.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. – Two Sullivan County men are facing attempted murder charges after authorities say they ran over and beat a man.

Eighteen-year-old Tommy Boswell, Junior and 42-year-old Tommie Boswell, Senior, both of Muddy Creek Road, were arrested yesterday and charged with attempted murder.

The victim told detectives he went to visit a female on Muddy Creek Road when Boswell, Junior broke out a window in the door and began threatening him. The victim said he walked down the driveway and that’s when Tommie Boswell, Senior hit him with the truck he was driving. He says the two men, an another, hit him with wooden club and kicked and punched him.

He was able to get to a neighbor’s house for help. Both Boswells were arrested shortly after.

Grand jury indicts Blountville father, son on aggravated assault charge

BLOUNTVILLE — A father and son are accused of assaulting a man outside the Blountville home of the father’s estranged wife.

A Sullivan County grand jury on Tuesday indicted Tommy M. Boswell Jr., 19, 543 Muddy Creek Road, Blountville, and Tommy Michael Boswell Sr., 43, 3814 Memorial Blvd., Apt. 20, Kingsport, on one count each of aggravated assault, stemming from their alleged use of a pickup truck and wooden club to assault a man outside the 543 Muddy Creek Road residence.

According to court records, the alleged victim, identified as Brandon Yates, told police he was asleep on a couch in the residence on Feb. 12 when someone started beating on the door between 10 and 11 a.m.

Yates told police Boswell Jr., aka “Mike,” entered the residence wielding a wooden club, making threats and ordering him to leave.

Yates said he left and was walking down the driveway toward Muddy Creek Road when he noticed a gray Chevrolet pickup truck with “Tommy’s Paving” on the side headed straight for him.

Yates told police he turned and ran toward a fence in the yard but couldn’t outrun the truck. He said he jumped on the front of it, flipped over the hood and landed on the driveway.

Yates said he managed to get up and run, but both Boswells and an unidentified white male caught up with him. He alleged Boswell Jr. struck him “on the head, back and arms” with the wooden club, and that all three suspects were “kicking and punching” him while he was on the ground.

Yates advised he eventually managed to take the club away from Boswell Jr. and flee to a neighboring residence. The neighbor took Yates to a Shell gas station on Airport Parkway, where EMS picked him up and transported him to Holston Valley Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, which included “possible broken bones.”

Police responded to the Muddy Creek Road residence and spoke with the resident, Angel Boswell. She advised that she and Tommy Boswell Sr. had been separated since October 2011. That morning, Angel Boswell said she heard her estranged husband’s truck in the driveway and heard him “yelling and cursing” her, then someone began beating on the door and she heard the glass shatter.

Angel Boswell told police she heard someone yelling about hurting someone, and by the time she got outside she saw Boswell Jr.’s black Ford leaving the driveway.

Police spoke to Boswell Sr. via a phone call, with the elder Boswell allegedly stating “the three of us did work him over” before hanging up the phone.

A search for Evelyn Boswell is underway at Lakeshore RV Park on Buffalo Road. Tommy Boswell Jr Owns the land and the trailer is where Meghan lived. He is Megan Boswell brother. A search warrant is being executed.
TBI found something underneath the trailer and was put in a paper-bag. It said they were seen digging up some soft ground, but it is unknown what was found.

Evelyn was said to have been seen 2 weeks ago in a KFC in Yadkinville, North Carolina with the grandma and her boyfriend. It has not been made public if she was there. Note: The TBI says there haven’t been any reports of confirmed sightings of Evelyn Boswell at this point in the investigation.

Jail records show the mother of a missing 15-month-old and subject of an Amber Alert is not pregnant, despite previously telling police and local news outlets that she was.

Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina released a statement just after 5 pm stating that their pond search was “inconclusive.”

Officials said the following:
“The search was conducted by Sherrills Ford – Terrell Fire & Rescue team using a Remote Operated Vehicle device as the search was conducted in a body of water, at a pond, located in the Shepherds Crossroads Community in Wilkes County. The search was inconclusive to any facts to the investigation and all information has been reported back to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations as they continue their efforts in this investigation.”

Boswell was arraigned on a charge of Theft of Property Over $2,500 in Sullivan County Court. Her bond is set at $5k and she must wear an ankle bracelet. She’s due back in court 4 March. She could not make bond because a bondsman revoked her bond from a previous unrelated case.

Boswell was arrested after she was found with William McCloud in a BMW that was reported stolen. Boswell and McCloud don’t understand why the car was stolen since the daughter Megan was going to pay for the car. Makes one wonder…

On Friday, Sheriff Jeff Cassidy announced in a press conference he was donating his own money and starting a reward fund. Ballad Health and CEO Alan Levine along with Fuller Paving Group followed shortly with their own contributions to the fund.

On Saturday more than 300 tips have been received. The TBI said, “a number of conflicting statements in addition to the fact that Evelyn was not immediately reported missing makes it a complicated case.”

UPDATE:  Mccloud and Boswell are being extradited to Sullivan county.  Both suspects were arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and are being held without bond on fugitive warrants, the news release says. Their first court date is Monday.  The fugitive warrant for Angela Boswell also says that she has “broken the terms of her bail, probation and parole,” no details are provided.

The gray BMW has been located in Wilkes County, North Carolina, along with the individuals that authorities were hoping to speak with concerning Evelyn Boswell’s whereabouts. William McCloud, 33, and Angela Boswell, 42, were charged with possession of stolen property. The BMW, had also been reported stolen and was located and recovered.

Public records show the two are in custody at the Wilkes County Jail in North Carolina.
