Just heartbreaking!
So did the mother killed Evelyn? Â She is the last one to have seen her!
Authorities in Tennessee say they have found human remains that they believe belong to 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell.
The remains were located on a property belonging to a relative of Evelyn’s mother in Blountville.
This evening, as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Evelyn Mae Boswell, and acting on new information developed in the case, TBI Agents and Detectives with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office searched a property belonging to a family member of Evelyn’s mother, Megan Boswell, in the 500 block of Muddy Creek Road in Blountville. During the search, investigators discovered human remains believed to be those of the missing 15-month-old girl. The remains will be sent for an autopsy and a positive identification.
The TBI, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI would like to thank the public for their support during the two-week AMBER Alert search for Evelyn Boswell.
The investigation remains active and ongoing at this time.

Right now HLN is running ‘How It Really Happened: Casey Anthony’
and watching all the silly details of that dumb trial, the aggravation
just gets stirred up. How those jurors could let that ‘woman’ go free
is just an enduring mystery, if I had been a juror on that case, there
would have been a Guilty verdict!
Right now they are talking about how THREE PIECES OF DUCT TAPE
covered little Caylee’s nose and mouth.
Case Closed.
I missed it, wonder if they will show it again? Remember when Jeff Ashton did that script of the duct tape? I believe she would have been found guilty had he done it that same way in the trial. I’ll see if I can find the video.
I don’t recall Ashton’s duct tape talk, but I clearly remember websleuths did a whole article on the PLACEMENT of those 3 pieces of duct tape – if I recall correctly, it was bondjamesbond who did it, I believe he is an attorney or something of that nature, and it was frightening. Also, Dr Garavaglia was in the show late nite, saying that regardless of anything else, THAT DUCT TAPE was an instant conviction, stuck into her hair to keep it wrapped around the face.
After all these years, it’s still a very strange case to re-visit, one day Justice or Karma will come around. I used to have the link to that websleuths page, it was a mountain of work he did on that. See if I can find it…………
Oh and I did look it up to see if there was a repeat of the show in the future, and no listings came up.
It was a 2 Hour Show on the HLN channel, I’m sure it will come up at some point.

Jeff Ashton did it in the pre-trial! He did it in the closing, I think it was but not as dramatic and heart wrenching as he did the first time. I’m still searching for the video of him talking about duct tape. A lot of crap was removed from this trial. Most was evidence to convict her. Wonder how she’s doing looking for the murderer?
Well I guess Ashton should have / could have done perhaps a physical demonstration of the duct tape placement, perhaps that would have made some impact on the jury, an actual demonstration of the 3 separate pieces of duct tape on a skull, showing just how it was stuck into the hair to hold the jaw and tape in place.
JMO some need to see it in person, it’s stronger and more in-your-face.
(I always wondered about the delay in answering Kronk’s calls on finding remains in the woods, and just why she was aided at every turn, as you said evidence at trial was not allowed. )
Last I heard, she was bar-hopping, still not working, and ‘sleeping just fine’.
She had to photography business and when people found out I think she dumped it. She has a car she drives, I’m sure someone bought it for her. The guy whose house she lives in should put her to work in his office as the door opener. She should be working off her rent. I’ll post a chat and we can chat there! ha
