27 November 2011: There are no real updates in the case of Missing Sky, but I did read that the father believes Sky is still alive. I really wish they would find him already! With the mother not talking with LE and hiding behind her attorney, I wish they would charge her with something. Child neglect or something. She needs to go to that jail cell to sit and think about what she is doing. You can bet she would really hate sitting in a jail where there are many people making messes, etc.
Julia Biryukova mentally unstable?
23 November 2011 PM update: Solomon Metalwala spoke about his ex-wives behavior and her dreams! She told him she had dreams of killing the children and going as far as to telling him of her strangling Sky. [Thanks Toasty]
According to documents, doctors claimed Biryukova had a low global assessment of functioning [GAF] scale, just 15 on a scale of 1 to 100, when she was involuntarily admitted to a West Seattle mental hospital. From Wikipedia: The Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF) is a numeric scale (0 through 100) used by mental health clinicians and physicians to subjectively rate the social, occupational, and psychological functioning of adults, e.g., how well or adaptively one is meeting various problems-in-living. 11 – 20 Some danger of hurting self or others (e.g., suicide attempts without clear expectation of death; frequently violent; manic excitement) OR occasionally fails to maintain minimal personal hygiene (e.g., smears feces) OR gross impairment in communication (e.g., largely incoherent or mute).
When she left the hospital, she had a score of 40. 31 – 40 Some impairment in reality testing or communication (e.g., speech is at times illogical, obscure, or irrelevant) OR major impairment in several areas, such as work or school, family relations, judgment, thinking, or mood (e.g., depressed man avoids friends, neglects family, and is unable to work; child frequently beats up younger children, is defiant at home, and is failing at school).
Biryukova sent a text to Metalwala threatening to commit suicide, but told doctors that she just wanted attention. Not long after, Solomon filed for a protective order, but it was denied. Biryukova filed for a protective order and received one.
23 November 2011: One of the Seattle local news stations has found out the Biryukova has ties to Ukrainian relatives. They contacted the family who speaks no English, but had a translator. Grandma, or great grandma knows nothing about little Sky missing but says that the father is involved. Wonder how she came to that conclusion if she had no knowledge of Sky even missing?
Biryukova can have her family members say what they want, but she is the last one to have seen Sky, and the one who LEFT HIM in the car while she walked with her 4 year old for gas, for a car that had gas and no issues. She also claims she was taking him to the doctor because he didn’t feel well! Another thing I find weird is the photo she gave police the day that Sky went missing. He seems to have been in the clothes he went missing in. Wonder what day that photo was taken?
From what we saw in the Jhessye Shockley case, it is just a matter of time before the child starts talking to someone about what happened to Sky. I hope the daughter stays out of the custody of her mother.
According to court papers, Biryukova asked a Judge for permission to take the kids out of the Country to visit other family members, it is unknown at this time what the outcome of that court appearance is, but I have a feeling now that she has lost one child, the outcome won’t be to her advantage.
For the record, Solomon Metalwala has been interviewed many times by police and is NOT considered a suspect!
