This is such a sad story. Hannah Barker and Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith are in jail on criminal conspiracy to commit murder charges. Both woman concocted a story after they burned Levi Ellerbe to death and left him by nearby rail road tracks.
A neighbor saw a fire by the railroad tracks near their house and called police to report a fire. This call came in around 10:00 pm on 17 July 2018. About 10:20 police found the burned body of 6 month old Levi Cole Ellerbe. They rushed him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The mother first told police that 2 men knocked on her door. Claiming when she opened the door she was sprayed with mace. She said she left for about 2 hours and when she returned, Levi was gone.
Much to my surprise, this mother and her girlfriend are charged with the murder of Levi! He was buried 20 July 2018.  RIP Levi!

Woman arrested for 1st Degree Murder in Fire-Related Homicide of Infant
The Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal, in collaboration with the Natchitoches Police Department, have taken a Natchitoches woman into custody in connection with the homicide of a 6-month-old boy.
Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith (DOB 8/10/92) was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center Saturday, July 21, 2018, on one count of 1st degree murder for the death of Levi Cole Ellerbe, who was located set on fire off of Breda Avenue on the evening of Tuesday, July 17.
The investigation is on-going and no further information will be released at this time.

Mother of Six Month Old Murder Victim Behind Bars!!
The Natchitoches Police Department and the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office have worked tirelessly together in order to learn the facts behind this Homicide. The two agencies have worked as one since this investigation’s conception through extremely long days and nights with little to no sleep.
On July 25, 2018, Hanna Barker, W/F, 22 years of age, was charged with Principal to 1st Degree Murder in the killing of her 6 month old baby boy, Levi Ellerbe. Barker was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center awaiting a 72 hour hearing.
Earlier this week, Natchitoches resident Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith was arrested for 1st Degree Murder in the case. An additional charge is expected to be brought against Smith.
Due to the extremely rapidly growing nature of this investigation, we must continue to restrict the information that is released. Therefore, NO FURTHER INFORMATION SHALL BE RELEASED AT THIS TIME. Thank you for your cooperation.
