Mohamed Bakari Shei, 20 of Rochester will spend no time in prison for raping 2 little girls agent and 9. Â He will serve 180 days in local jail and up to 30 years on probation. Â It will then be erased from his file if he makes it through probation.
Mohamed Bakari Shei, 20, of Rochester was convicted of raping two girls ages approximately 4 and 8 years old when the abuse began. Charges say the sexual assaults occurred multiple times.
He was sentenced Monday to 180 days in local jail.

Shei raped the 9 year old multiple times in 2018. She told law enforcement that Shei raped her eight or more times over the course of a year. She also stated that Shei told her that he would give her money for a book fair at school or buy her toys.
Shei struck a plea deal with prosecutor Thomas Gort [who dropped two of the three criminal sexual conduct charges against Shei]  agreed to go to jail for 180 days as well as to 200 hours of community service. Shei will also not be included in the sex offenders registry but will serve up to 30 years of probation.
