And officer was dispatched on 5 August 2018 in reference to with the prescription drugs. Upon arrival the officer met with redact and redact who were standing in the bike lane by the street. Both subjects appeared to be on some sort of narcotic medication. Read that advised an unknown subject took read that from a backpack that redact was carrying the night before. Redact advised he last remembered the prescription medication been in the backpack the night before while redact and he were walking around the neighborhood.
The officer met with redact and inquired about the medication. Redact advise she also had redact but only half the amount. Redact advise she did not remember what she did the night before. She advised that the last thing she remembered was walking around the neighborhood with redact. The next thing redact remembered was waking in bed. She advised she had no idea how she got there. Redact advised her backpack was located by a neighbor and with the assistance of another officer it was returned to her. Redact advised redact was still in the backpack but advised they were free. The officer inquired about the street value. She advised they go for approximately $10 per strip, approximately $900 if sold illegally. Redact had no idea what she did the night before and had no idea of the location of the missing medications. The officer concluded the interview with redact.
The officer met with redact again and provided him with a report number. His demeanor changed when he received their number. From previous calls for service with prescription medication the officer has learned that the victim needs the report number to have prescriptions renewed. In essence, redact could have sold the medication and is reporting it stolen. The officer question him about the false report but he denied it. The officer concluded the interview with redact.
