Tierra Morgan-Glover update, father to appear and NJ system failed!

1 December 2011:  Thug Arthur Morgan III will appear in a San Diego courtroom today, NJ authorities are working on extraditing Morgan back to NJ in the death of Tierra. When Morgan returns to NJ, he faces a $10 million cash only bail!

Department of Children and Families has been involved in this mess for over a year.  Tierra’s mother, Imani Benton has tried to seek help through them, but it has failed her. Benton had many times taken cover in domestic violence shelters, but when he found out where she was, he made threatening calls to the center.  Imani won a temporary restraining order against Morgan, but the court determined there was not sufficient evidence.  Morgan was offered parenting counseling and substance abuse counseling, but he refused to go.  So instead of keeping this case open, you think they would have since Morgan DENIED all help, they closed it. Morgan made reports [July] about the environment of the house that Imani lived in, the agency found no issues; then he reported [September] domestic violence between Imani and her brother, both denied it, but Imani took Tierra and moved out. Then in November he saying he did not know where Benton and his daughter were staying. He made accusations against his girlfriend’s parenting abilities that were deemed by the agency to be untrue. They determined the child was safe where she was.

The DCF now has initiated a case record review of our history with Tierra and her family to ensure we did everything possible and to identify any instances for improvement.  It’s apparent they have not done everything possible in this case, or Tierra would be alive today.  I also feel that another agency should be brought in to review the history of the DCF agency.  Just from reading what I have on the web, DCF has FAILED TIERRA!

When the family head of Morgans arrest, they knew they could sleep at night. His family was also scared of him on the loose!

As of 2007, New Jersey abolished the death penalty, but in January 2011 a bill was introduced to reinstate the death penalty for those convicted of the murder of on-duty police officers and children under the age of 14.

30 November 2011:  Tierra Morgan-Glover whose  body was found partially submerged, strapped in her carseat,  in a creek near a roadway overpass in about 20 miles north of her Lakehurst, NJ home, was laid to rest on Monday.

The Thug Arthur Morgan III  aka: Arthur E. Morgan, Arthur Glovermorgan, Arthur Glover, Eugene Rossi, Arthur Morgan, Arthur Eugene Morgan; was arrested in San Diego by US Marshalls and Sheriff.  They surrounded a 2 story house that Morgan had been staying since after Thanksgiving, apparently his friends house.  Morgan who had a court approved visit with Tierra and be returned to her mother that night.  When she was not returned, her mother called the police.  He is charged with child endangerment and interfering with a court order, and has been charged by the FBI with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, and hopefully murder at some point. he is waiting extradition to New Jersey.

A tip came in to the US Marshall’s  that Morgan was in a duplex on Euclid Avenue, and had the place under surveillance. Where this guy was caught was not far from where I use to live in California.

Tierra’s death is listed as ‘homicidal violence, including submersion in water.’

Rest In Peace Tierra!
