DNA results are underway and should take about a week. The testing started on Friday 15 November. According to Alabama a law requires that the coroner make an initial determination of the cause of death. If the cause is foul play, then an autopsy is conducted.
Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences conducted the autopsy on Friday where the same of DNA was distracted.
On 12 November human remains were found as FBI, FDLE, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), as well as the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation, the Marengo County Sheriff’s Office, the Demopolis Police Department and Demopolis Fire Department and Linden Police Department were searching an area between the cities of Linden and Demopolis Alabama. The remains were found off a dirt road by County Road 44 and Highway 28.
The state attorney Melissa Nelson believes they are the remains are of Taylor Rose Williams.
Brianna Williams is currently still in the hospital after she over dosed. She is charged with 2 counts of child neglect and 1 count of giving false information in an investigation to law enforcement.
