On 21 August 2008, Casey was released from jail. She was fitted with a ankle bracelet. LP posted bond for the amount of $500,200. In real life that is $50,200.
Casey left the court house with Baez by her side under an umbrella. Casey got into a car that drove her home and into the garage. George and Cindy Anthony hosed down the media with a garden hose.
Today: She is getting ready for a court hearing on 21 August 2009 at 0930.
