OCS Beary talked about the case on 14 August 2008. He stated that everyone needs to realize that they came into the investigation 31 days late. He stated that they have about 1700 tips that have come in, and they are working around the clock.
He asks for “creditable” information. His main goal is to find Caylee. He stated: “Right now I don’t think there is any credible information on a kidnapping theory. If it’s accidental, then I need to know that and people with credible information need to come back and tell me that.” It’s all about working the case, getting credible tips in and solving the case.” He also stated that he needs Casey cooperation, and he knows that Casey was the last one to see Caylee. But we know how that goes, Casey isn’t cooperating at all!
