UPDATE-MISSING CHILD FOUND
October 24, 2019 (MINNEAPOLIS) – NAILA AMARIANA PANTOJA-PEREZ was located by Minneapolis Police in South Minneapolis tonight at 8:30pm. She is safe and sound. Serenity Jones and an adult male have been taken into custody. The Minneapolis Police Department would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

Minneapolis Police are asking for the help in locating a missing 5-year-old Naila Amariana Pantoja-Perez. She was forcefully taken from her home Wednesday at about 4:48 pm on the 3100 block of Cedar Avenue S.
She was with her father when her mother, who doesn’t have custody of her, and an unknown man forced their way into the apartment, grabbed her and fled in an unknown vehicle, police said. Serenity Joy Jones is 28 years old.
Naila has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing blue shorts and a purple t-shirt.
Jones is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall, weighing 166 pounds with brown eyes.
