Kamille McKinney missing, rewards money $33,000

I will provide an update on the case later on today.

The reward found for Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney has been upped to $33,000.  If you remember this week the Governor of Alabama Kay Ivey also announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator and the location of Kamille.

CrimeStoppers announced an additional $20,000 reward for any credible tip to solve the crime. Yesterday the Jefferson County Commission voted to add $8,000 to the CrimeStoppers reward. This reward is $1,600 from each commissioners’ funds.

Birmingham, AL – The JeffersonCounty Commission reconvened this morning for a special vote on a resolutiongranting Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama an additional $8,000 to aid in thereward for information about the location of Kamille “Cupcake” McKinny. Each Commissionergave $1,600 from their discretionary monies to fund this grant.
