
Stallworth and Brown had a court hearing this morning. Jefferson County Circuit Judge Clyde Jones read their capital murder warrants. The warrants state Kamille died by asphyxiation by suffocation on 12 October 2019, the night she went missing.
Stallworth has no idea why he is charged with with Kamille’s murder. He told the judge: “I don’t understand why I was charged with murder of this child.”
Judge Jones told Stallworth that his lawyer will explain the charges to him and that the state will present evidence against him at the preliminary hearing, if he chooses to have one. Stallworth said he plans to hire his own attorney.
Jefferson County District Attorney Danny Carr will be handling this case himself!
