Jerice Hunter, Jhessyeâs mother sat down with News5 and talked. She hasnât sat down with anyone and this is the first time. The mother, who has a history of abusing her children with electrical cords, says that her âchildren are her lifeâ. She also says that her relatives wanted to raise her children as their own. All of her children, including the baby she just had is in protective custody with the state. She has had visits with the new born.
Now that she has given birth to her last child, Law Enforcement [LE] will be giving her a polygraph. She says she wanted to give one early on, but LE said they will wait until she gives birth.
The mother says that she has been treated like a suspect by Law Enforcement, even though LE has stated she is not one. She has also stated that LE isnât doing enough to find her daughter, but we can tell this mother isnât doing much either.
The mother said in her interview that if she could take back 11 October 2011, she would have never walked out that door, she would have never run the errand. Itâs not that she shouldnât have run her errand, she could have taken her kids with her, just sayin! Video of the interview
