Gabriel Johnson case: Mother Competency Hearing next week

The mother of Gabriel Johnson will be in court next week for another competency hearing next week, to see if she is competent to stand trial on charges of kidnapping, child abuse, and custodial interference in the disappearance of Gabriel.  She was ruled in competent in June 2010.

Gabriel was abducted by his mother on December 27, 2009. Gabriel’s mother was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida for Custodial Interference on December 30, 2009. At the time of the abduction, she was driving a white 1995 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with Arizona license plates AGZ4214. The vehicle has since been located in San Antonio, Texas but the child is still missing.

In December 2010, the mother admitted she had killed the child, then stated she gave the child to a random couple in a park.  Boy can this girl play the games!

Tammi Peters Smith, remember her? She is the woman who got involved in this case. Making a false birth certificate, and now in the courts for forgery, is said to also have a trial for her charges. It is unknown at this time if she is still being charged with conspiracy to commit custodial interference in this case.  She is NOT charged with the disappearance of Gabriel!

I wish this little boy had been found. Not one couple has come forward stating they have the child, I can only believe that Gabriel is deceased.  I know it is an on going investigation, but it is just sad.  I guess if you can play nuts, you can get off all charges.  This mother needs to be charged with every ‘child’ charges available.

If you want to read more on this case, DebWV/DJR has posted many links to past articles on this case:  Gabriel [Thanks DJR]

If the mother is found incompetent again, the case COULD be dismissed, too easy if you ask me!!
