Sullivan County Sheriff Cassidy stated that the mother of missing Evelyn Boswell is lying to them. Cassidy is not going to go into what happened to Evelyn, because some of the mother’s statements are conflicting and inaccurate.

He stated the mother is cooperating but not giving accurate information.

Sheriff Cassidy believes that last time Evelyn was seen alive was 10 December 2019. The last time the babysitter saw Evelyn.

Cassidy stated:  Surveillance camera footage, witness testimony – a lot of her story hasn’t been accurate

Megan Boswell has not been ruled out as a suspect, but investigators are keeping an open mind.

Megan Boswell had a court appearance in juvenile court today but remained silent when she left the courthouse. No information as to why she was in court was released.
