A young man dies after shooting 8 May 2023

A man was found shot in a vehicle. A male in his 20s was found in a vehicle at the 1600 block Hillside Ave N. He died at the scene. He was found with multiple gun shots wounds.

From Minneapolis PD:
May 8, 2023 (Minneapolis) At approximately 5:00 PM today, officers from the Minneapolis Police Department’s 4th Precinct responded to the 1600 block of Hillside Avenue North for the report of shots fired. Upon arrival, the officers found an adult
male in his 20’s in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers attempted lifesaving measures until EMS arrived and took over. EMS also attempted lifesaving measures but were unsuccessful in their efforts. The adult male
died at the scene.
Forensics scientists from the MPD’s Forensic Division responded to process the scene
and collect evidence. MPD Homicide investigators also began their investigation.
No arrests have been made. MPD is investigating. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the deceased male’s name along
with the cause and nature of his death.

Easter shooting Minneapolis

A verbal altercation at a gathering in north Minneapolis ended with a man shot to death.Officers responded before 4:30 am to find a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center, where he died. Police did not immediately identify him.

No one has been arrested. The shooting is under investigation.

UPDATED Mother shoots her own daughters in Minneapolis

UPDATE:

March 4, 2023 (Minneapolis) Minneapolis Police Officers from the 4th Precinct responded to the report of a shooting on the 3600 Block of Dupont. At approximately 6:00 a.m., a 911 caller stated that a gun had gone off during an argument.

Inside a residence, officers identified an 18-year-old female with at least one potentially life- threatening gunshot wound and a 13-year-old male with at least one apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Both injured parties may have been injured by the same bullet. Both injured parties were transported to North Memorial Medical Hospital in separate ambulances. Despite all lifesaving efforts, the 18-year-old female died at the hospital.

Preliminary information indicates a verbal argument between a mother and her children escalated and a shot was fired. Forensic scientists from the Minneapolis Police Forensic Division responded to process the scene and collect evidence. Homicide investigators responded to begin their investigation.

Investigators are working to determine whether the gunshot was accidental or intentional. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the identity of the deceased female along with the cause and nature of his death.

Ashley Paige Pope, age 39, has been arrested and booked into Hennepin County Jail.

A gun was recovered.

There were three other juveniles in the home at the time of the shooting. They were not injured. The ages and nature of the relationship between the three uninured juveniles and the other occupants is not being disclosed at this time.

An 18 year old is dead and a 13 year old is injured after a mother shot her 18 year old daughter. The 13 year old has an injury to her wrist.

It happened this morning on the 3600 block of Dupont Ave N.

Three shot 2 different shootings, 1 dead

The man, 40 has life threatening gun shot wounds, Alexis Rae Rodriquez, 28 died of multiple gun shot wounds at 8:29 pm. Both arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle which had evidence of gunfire.

Another shooting about an hour later. The man shot said he was approaching an unknown male when the unknown male opened fire on the 4300 block of East Lake Street in the Cooper neighborhood. He was taken to Hennepin Healthcare with non-life threatening wounds.

Two shootings in Minneapolis 15 Feb

A man and a woman were found in a car with life threatening wounds. The man died at the scene from a gun shot to the head, the woman was taken to Hennepin County medical center with a gun shot wound to the chest. This was at approximately 11:35 pm on Colfax Ave South. Killed was Khalil Amer Bryant, 23, of Robbinsdale, multiple gunshot wounds.

Another call of a shooting 5 minutes later came in as a man shot in an apartment building. Efforts to revive the victim were unsuccessful. This shooting to place on Bryant Ave South. Killed was Davante Lavar-King Reid, 29, of Minneapolis, gunshot wound to the chest

Minnesota BCA is investigating, more info as soon as it’s released.

Minnesota starts New Years 2023 with a murder

Police were called to shoots fired on 42nd Ave N. and Lyndale Ave N. in Minneapolis. When they arrived, they found Deleon Davis in a car being taken to the hospital. Deleon was transferred to the N. Memorial Health Hospital by ambulance. [After reading comments on social media, a resident heard the shots, called police and ran over to that location. She heard a man calling for help and saw him drive off]

Deleon Davis, 28 died at North Memorial Health Hospital on 1 January 2023 at 08:55 of multiple gun shots. According to reports he was shot around 03:47 at an after party at the 4400 block of Lyndale Avenue N.

Police approached the building and cleared everyone out. They found evidence of a shooting in that location including 3 guns. Police said a verbal altercation and ended in shoots fired.

A 40 year old man was also hit by a bullet, went to North Memorial Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injury. Police believe he was a by-stander at the Lyndale shooting.

A shooting early this morning has resulted in homicide number 1 for the city of Minneapolis.

An male in his 20s was found in a vehicle at 42nd and Lyndale Ave N. He died of his injuries.

A second male later showed up at the hospital with GSW injuries.
