Tony L. breaks lock off shed per Casey’s instruction and takes two gas cans. Tony L. drives Casey back to her car, which is parked on Killian DR.  Casey puts gas in her tank and the gas cans in the trunk of her car.  She follows Tony L. to his apartment.

4:00 p.m. Casey goes back to Tony L.’s (in the area of Sutton Place)

5:30 – 6 p.m. George claims he followed Casey (driving Cindy’s SUV) up Chickasaw getting on the 408 exiting on Hiawassee or Kirkman RD. [LIE] He offered E-pass records to LE, but failed to provide them. LE obtained the records via a subpoena.

Cindy denied the chase took place. George later retracts this statement and said this chase must have happened in April 2008.

5:35 p.m. While on her way home from work, Cindy received a call from Casey on her cell phone.  Zany’s Maroon Toyota Camry was totaled in a car crash in Tampa, FL. Casey told Cindy that Zany and Rachel were in a car accident earlier this morning.  They were both in the Tampa General Hospital, therefore she [Casey], Juliet, Caylee and Annabelle [Juliet’s daughter] would be staying over a few more days. [All LIES]

8:52:53 p.m. Casey calls Tony L. no cell phone activity for 13 hrs. It appears from her cell phone pings, Casey spent the night at Tony L.’s apartment.

10:20 a.m. George called LE to report a burglary – 2 cans of gasoline stolen & lock broken on shed door. George filed an incident report for $50 of gasoline, including the cost of the cans and $50 in damages.

10:37 Deputy Richard Cain, OCSO responded to 4937 Hopespring DR to investigate the alleged buglary. Deputy Cain wrote in the incident report that he attemped to dust for the presence of latent fingerprints and found none.

11:20 a.m. Casey calls the Lexus Dealership, Winter Park, FL (George’s workplace)

12:40 p.m. To Troy on Facebook.  Casey Anthony (Orlando, FL) wrote “she still has yet to move into the house. hell, in the past 9 days, i haven’t even been living at the house. DRAMMMMMA. i’ll fill ya in later on. miss ya, yo.” [Note: This message was in response to Troy’s comment regarding Amy’s plans to move into the Anthony home with Casey]

1:19 p.m. Jesse G. called to tell her that he resigned from the OPD today.  Casey invited Jesse G. to Fusion Night Club on Friday, June 27th and to the beach on Saturday, June 28th to help cheer him up. [Note: There is no indication either of these events happened]

Jesse G. thought he heard Caylee in the background saying, “look at me, look at me!” Yet, Casey said Caylee was with the Nanny. Later, Jesse G. said he was not sure about hearing Caylee on this date. However, it was not uncommon to hear Caylee in the background on various occasions when he spoke with Casey on the phone.

2:00 p.m. G & C Anthony met at Bank of America located at Goldenrod and Lake Underhill to deposit their $1,200 stimulus check. George claimed he had to be there to sign the check and to show his ID in order for Cindy to deposit the check in her account.

2:15 p.m. After G & C Anthony finished their banking, George said he went home to prepare for a 6:30 p.m. interview with someone from Andrew International.

2:30 – 3:00 p.m. Casey dropped by parent’s home to pick up some clothes and then she told George she had to get back to work. George asks “where is Caylee” and Casey said: “with the nanny.”  George insisted on getting a wheel chock (metal wedge used to block tires from rolling) out of Casey’s car trunk. Later, in an interview with Greta, Cindy and George talk about George looking into the trunk of Casey’s car … he saw the gas cans and did not smell any odor. • 2nd version of the story:  George never saw inside the trunk…Casey beat him to it.

….. When he headed toward the car, she raced past him to get to the trunk before he did. She quickly opened the trunk, cursed at him and handed over the cans.

George claims he called Cindy to tell her that he got his gas cans from Casey.  He stated that Cindy said she would speak with Casey. Note: After retrieving his gas cans from Casey’s car, he did not call LE to cancel Incident Report He admitted it a couple of weeks later.

George recalls that Cindy left work at approx. 5:30 and drove to Universal Studios to get Caylee. She called Casey while waiting at guest services. Casey told her she was not there, but that she was back in Tampa, FL. Of course, George quickly added a caveat by saying, if Cindy says she made the trip on a different date, then that date would probably be the correct one.

In an interview with LE, Cindy was doing a back track of the timeline of Casey’s whereabouts between 6/16/08 and 7/15/08. This timeline, of course, was based on what Cindy claims Casey told her.

For today’s date, here’s Casey’s story according to Cindy:  “Zany developed complications from the car accident.  Zany’s sister brought her mom, but the mom did not have her medication, so she had to return home.  Also, Zany was not going to be released from the hospital that day.  Zany’s sister had to go to class,” so Casey led Cindy to believe she felt obligated to stay. After the OCSO Detective pointed out to Cindy that 6/24/08 was the date George reported the gas cans stolen in the morning only to retrieve them from Casey on the same day in the afternoon, she became flustered and offered up a reason for Casey to show up at the house.

Cindy told the detective Casey returned to Orlando because Zany needed something from her apartment. Casey claimed to have a key to Zany’s apartment, which is how she was able to get in to find Zany’s insurance card. Then Cindy speculated that Casey must have stopped by the Anthony home while in the area to pick up a few things.

WED, June 25, 2008 – During a phone conversation Casey told Amy H. about a smell in her car…. It [smell] lasted for a couple of days.  The next day Casey told Amy H. the smell was much worst.

She also suggested that Cindy should consider getting legal custody of Caylee.  Cindy became agitated by this idea and made comments about not being able to afford it. 7:00 a.m. Ms. Sanchez noticed the 1998 WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE was still there.  All of the other businesses were closed therefore there were few cars on the lot.  Ms. Sanchez called the corporate office for direction on what to do about the abandoned car. Ms. Sanchez was instructed to call LE to find out if the car was stolen. No record of the car being reported as stolen. She was then instructed to wait a day before having the car towed from the parking lot.

Are you going back to work? I saw on the news that Anheiser Busch* is being bought by a foreign company that does not want the theme parks only the beer part of the Co. What is that all about they’re talking Disney or Universal may get to buy the theme parks. I thought Universal already merged with them? TUE, July 15, 2008 – George picked up certified mail at the Post Office then proceeded to Johnson’s Wrecker East located at 7777 Narcoossee RD, Orlando, FL to retrieve Casey’s car. He arrived in the morning prior to noon.  George spoke with Ms. Lett inquiring about the cost and other requirements to get the car out of impound. He asked Ms. Lett where the car was towed from and she told George the car was towed from the AMSCOT located on SR 50 & Goldenrod.

Ms. Lett also advised George of the types of documents he would need and mentioned they only accept cash payments. George said he would have to come back… did not have enough cash. George called Cindy to let her know the cost to get the vehicle out of impound. Cindy left work and went to withdraw $500 from an ATM, then met George at the Anthony home.

Cindy meets George at the Anthony home then she drives him to Johnson’s Wrecker. She debated the notification time and the charge ($35.00) for the certified letter. Cindy demanded a discount. DENIED! Ms. Lett observed that Cindy appeared to have been upset upon her arrival.

1:30 p.m. (approx. time) G & C showed the car title and their driver’s licenses as proof of ownership and identification because Casey’s car (1998 WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE SE Coupe 2-DR) is registered to George & Cynthia Anthony.   [VIN# shown in discovery doc pp. 5207 -5208] Cindy paid the Johnson’s Wrecker invoice in the amount of $466.78. [discovery doc p. 374]

George and Cindy acted surprised to learn the car was in the Orlando area. They told Mr. Birch, Facilities Manager and Ms. Lett they thought this car was in Jacksonville, Gainesville or the FL Panhandle. [discovery doc pp. 819, 837, 839 & 847]

G & C Anthony said they hadn’t seen their granddaughter in a month; their daughter was lying to them and would not let them speak with the child. Cindy remaiined in the office while George and Mr. Birch went into the impound yard to retrieve the car.

When George opened the drivers door of the Pontiac with a spare key, he and Mr. Birch smelled a foul odor (the smell was pungent). George looked inside the car and saw Caylee’s car seat; Casey’s purse (with her ID inside); clothes and some other stuff. George said he remembered thinking at this time, “please don’t let it be Casey or Caylee.”

Then he proceeded to open the trunk, as Mr. Birch witnessed, and found armor hammer laundry detergent; blue bends; an old pink backpack of Caylee’s and a white kitchen size trash bag with a yellow tie-string.

A pizza box and some papers were inside the trash bag with maggots and flies crawling on the outside. Mr. Birch tossed the trash bag in the dumpster.

George saw the stain (size of basket ball but not completely circular) near the spare tire area in the center of the trunk. He put his noise down close to it and got an overpowering dose of the decomposition odor.

George took gas can from his SUV and put gasoline in Casey’s car. It seemed to Mr. Birch that George knew in advance the car was out of gas.  Note: [It was later proven by LE the car was not out of gas and the gas gauge worked properly]

1:24 p.m. Casey went to Bank of America at 2701 S. Conway RD. (1/10 of mi. from Sawgrass Apts.) She wrote the fifth chk. #146 for $250.00.from Amy H’s checking account Payee: Casey Anthony. Casey presented ID # A 535-113-86-599-0 (FL Drivers License) to the bank teller to cash the check and $250 in cash was dispensed.

Chk # 145 in the amount of $92.62 payable to Win-Dixie #2383 was returned to Winn Dixie unpaid due to Amy H.s forgery claim. ($10.00 returned check fee was also charged back for a total loss of $102.62).

During Charles C’s interview with LE, he mentioned that Debbie B. (co-worker at Gentiva) told him that Cindy had mentioned the argument she had with Casey on Fathers Day. [discovery doc p. 5063]

1:55 p.m. – 2:05 p.m. Casey’s vehicle was released to George. He drove the Pontiac with the windows partially down in the rain. At the Anthony home, he parked the car in the garage. Because of his Sheriff Detective background, George immediately recognized the smell in Casey’s car as that of a DECOMPOSING BODY …That is a smell you never forget.

That said Cindy and George agreed to stick with the story of a rotting pizza in the car for several days sitting in the hot Florida sun caused the foul odor.

2:00 p.m. Casey stopped by Cast Iron Tattoo. She scheduled an appointment for herself and a friend for 7/19/08. Mr. Colamarino asked about Caylee. Casey told him she would bring Caylee when she comes back for her next appointment. [LIE]

2:04 p.m. Erica G. cell phone call to Casey’s cell phone = 4 secs. Missed call goes to voice-mail box.

2:06 p.m. Casey returns Erica G.’s phone call and they talk for 842 secs. Casey tells Erica she is on her way to OIA to pick up someone. During the conversation, Casey made a statement along the lines of “sit down Caylee,” but Erica did not hear Caylee’s voice at all during the entire conversation.

2:10 p.m. (approx. time) Cindy found a hand-written note with a phone number for Amy H. and a copy of Amy’s resume in Casey’s car. She removed a dinner knife and Casey’s gray pin-stripped slacks from the car and WASHED THEM! Cindy took Caylee’s favorite doll, Momma out of the car seat and sprayed it and the car seats with febreeze.

2:30 p.m. Casey picked Amy H. up at the Orlando International Airport, and then she returned to Tony L’s apartment at Sutton Place.

2:30 p.m. George left the Anthony home to go to work. However, sometime after parking the car in the garage and before he left, George removed the battery from the Pontiac.

3:00 p.m. (approximate time) Cindy returned to work at Gentiva Health Services, Winter Park, FL Cindy told her co-workers (Debbie B. and Charles C.) at Gentiva Health Services, 1375 S Semoran Blvd Bldg 5, Winter Park, FL about the terrible odor in Casey’s car. Charles C. said when Cindy returned to work she was angry and made the statement about the smell in Casey’s car it [1998 WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE] smells like a dead body.

Sometime after 3:30 p.m., Cindy’s Supv. and Area Mgr. sent Cindy home to handle her business.

Amy H. is at the Florida (FL) Mall with friends. Cindy offered to pick Amy H. up at the FL Mall so she could take her to Casey. According to Amy H., Cindy sounded panicky and told her if I don’t find Casey, she would end up in jail.

While in route to Tony L’s, Cindy tells Amy about getting Casey’s car out of the tow yard earlier that day and she also told her the car smelled like something had died. Cindy stated that the odor was coming from the trunk of the car. Amy recalled Casey saying the odor came from the engine, but she did not mention that to Cindy.

Cindy admitted to Amy that she was worried about Caylee because Casey had prevented her from talking with or seeing Caylee in over a month. Cindy ranted about how Casey was an unfit mother and if her behavior (i.e., excessive partying, lying, stealing money, etc.) continued, she would sue for custody of Caylee.

Cindy gave Amy the impression that she and George had not seen or spoken to Casey or Caylee in over a month, which is why they feared the odor coming from the trunk of the car might have been because Casey and/or Caylee where in there [the trunk].

Amy H.s also learned from Cindy that Casey had hacked into her [Cindy’s] bank account over and over And Cindy goes on to say Casey has been stealing money from her for years, as well as, stealing money from her [Cindy’s] mom, Shirley P. Although Amy did not want to believe Casey would steal from her, this insightful information caused Amy to share the story about her $400 going missing on 7/2/08 with Cindy. Cindy simply replied, yeah your not getting that back!

6:04 p.m. Casey made a cash purchase of $88.45 at Winn Dixie at 7580 University BV, Winter Park, FL.

6:30:44 p.m. Incoming text message from AT&T on Casey’s cell phone reads AT&T FREE msg: Pmt. Conf #QPSCAC237316569. Bank Acct debit authorized for $574.60 on 7/15/08 and successfully posted to Acct 04985420-001-04 [discovery doc 2873]

7:00 p.m. Amy H. directs Cindy to Tony L’s at Sutton Place, Winter Park, FL. Tony L. said he had never met Casey’s mother until that point, and so he said, hello. Cindy responded I hope you’re rich because Casey’s going to take all your money and leave you high and dry.

They were at Tony’s for approx. ½ hour. According to Amy H. Cindy and Casey had a verbal confrontation outside of Tony L’s apt. Cindy asked Casey, where is Caylee? Casey replied, she is safe.

While driving Amy H. back to her place at 232 N. Glenwood AV, Cindy pressed Casey about taking her to Caylee. Cindy demanded that Casey take her to Caylee immediately and Casey simply refused.

George called Lee to tell him there was something upsetting his mom and told him to go check on her. George said to Lee, we got some news about your sister today. Long story would explain later. Lee went to his parents’ home. No one was there.

8:00 p.m. (approx. time) Tony started watching the All Star game and was worried about what was going on with Casey & Cindy, so he texted Casey. When the phone went off, Tony realized Casey’s phone was still in his apartment.

8:05 p.m. Cindy called Georges cell phone. He missed the call.

8:08 p.m. Cindy arrived at the Orlando Police Dept. (OPD) located on Pershing RD, Orlando, FL. While sitting in the parking lot, Cindy called OPD to have Casey arrested. The person who answered the phone told her the office was closed and based on her home address, she would need to go home and contact the OCSO.

8:28 p.m. When Lee arrived at the Anthony home, no one was there. He entered the home through the garage, as usual. The 1998 WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE was the only vehicle in the garage with the trunk open and windows down. Lee smelled a foul odor that filled up the garage. He waited until Cindy and Casey arrived.

8:30 p.m. Cindy and Casey arrived at the Anthony home.

8:30 p.m. After Cindy dropped Amy H. off at her residence, it dawned on her that she should check her bank account. Cindy’s comment about Casey hacking into her bank account was finally resonating with Amy H. Upon accessing her checking account on-line, Amy H. was shocked to find a $0 balance the account had been WIPED OUT! She contacted the Bank of America Fraud Division and filed a forgery claim.

8:35 p.m. George said he spoke with Cindy on her cell phone and that she inquired about what time he would be coming home.

8:44 p.m. Cindy called 911 from the home phone. She requested to have Casey arrested for stealing money, her car and her granddaughter may be missing.

Initially Casey told Lee, during a 45 min. conversation, that Caylee was safe and that she knew where Caylee was. She would take them to see her tomorrow morning.

Lee claims Casey told him for the first time, that Cindy accused her of being an “unfit Mother” maybe she’s right maybe I am.. Casey also said Cindy told her that even though Caylee has been the best thing and the best mistake that she was indeed a mistake! [discovery doc p. 1430]

When Lee asked Casey why she wouldn’t allow them to see Caylee, according to Lee, Casey said, well maybe I’m a spiteful bitch maybe this should have been done a long time a go I’ve stolen money from mom and you I’ve been untrustworthy. I’ve been a bad mother, daughter and sister.

Lee told Casey that Cindy had called 911 to report Caylee missing and that LE would say, if Caylee is at the Nanny’s then lets just get in the car and go get her. Casey started crying and said, I haven’t seen my daughter in 31 days the Nanny kidnapped her!

Cindy comes into Casey’s room and said, “what have you done?! what’s going on?!” Casey responded by saying, “I don’t know where Caylee is.” Cindy asked, “who took her?” Casey responded, “the Nanny did, and she was kidnapped, mom.” [LIE]

9:25 p.m. Cindy called (321) 331-2291 AGAIN! This is the same phone number she called on 7/3/2008. Perhaps she forgot, while in a panic-stricken state of mind, that there was no Zany at this number.

9:27 p.m. Tony L. called Amy and she told him about Casey stealing her money. Amy asked Tony L. to go through Casey’s things to look for her checkbook. He found it and held onto it for her until they could get together for a face-to-face meeting.

9:41 p.m. Cindy called 911 from home phone again. This time she says in part, there’s something wrong, it smells like there’s been a dead body in the damn car Casey just admitted that she left Caylee with baby-sitter and she kidnapped her over a month ago. (Cindy sounds hysterical!!)

The 911 Operator asked Cindy to put Casey on the phone. When the operator asked Casey, what’s going on? Casey calmly states, “Caylee has been missing for 31 days.” VIDEO

Casey claims she received a call from Caylee around 12 noon today. [LIE] There were ABSOLUTELY NO PHONE RECORDS OF ANY CALLS ever made to or from Casey listed in the name of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. [LIE]

OCSO LE responded to 911 calls at C & G Anthonys home 4937 Hopespring Drive, Orlando, FL. LE interviewed all family members in the home.

9:50 p.m. (approx. time) According to Tony L., Lee called him about 20 30 minutes after he spoke with Amy H. At this time, Lee told Tony L. that Casey didn’t know where Caylee was and that Caylee had been missing for 31 days.

While Casey was being interviewed by LE, Cindy called her Supv. Ms. Polisano. Cindy was crying and almost incoherent, screaming, I found Casey and the baby’s gone. The baby’s missing. We cant find the baby! Cindy also said, OMG Debbie, if something happened to the baby or if the baby is dead, I don’t know what I’m going to do! [discovery doc p. 3068]

LE Interviewed Casey and took her 4-page written statement of the events detailing when Caylee Marie Anthony (2 yr. old) went missing on 6/9/08. [LIE] Actually, Caylee was last seen on 6/15/08. [discovery doc pp. 28 31]  Casey claimed ZFG was Caylee’s Nanny for the past 1 ½ 2 yrs. and her friend of 4 yrs. [LIE]

11 p.m. (approx. time) Cindy called Amy H. She told her Caylee was missing and that the Nanny ran off with her about a month ago.

Amy H. told Cindy that Casey had emptied her bank account, which she asked Casey about. Amy H. said Casey admitted to the fact that she had done this in front of her mother and the police officers.

11 p.m. (approx. time) According to Lee, OCSO detectives went to Tony L’s apartment and confiscated Casey’s cell phone. They used Casey’s phone to call her contacts.

WED, July 16, 2008 – Lee called Tony L. to make arrangements to retrieve Casey’s personal belongings.

12:00 a.m. (midnight) Lee drives to Tony L’s and picks up Cindy’s laptop, leopard print duffel bag, white backpack, large purse.

Lee told Tony L. and his roommates that he wished he had met them earlier to warn them about Casey and that she had become a pro at passing bad checks. Lee told them they needed to check their bank accounts and their belongings. He also told them that Casey lies.

1:00 a.m. (approx. time) Deputy Awilda McBryde confiscated the white trash bag from the AMSCOT dumpster.  Upon inspection of the contents inside the bag, CSI Bloise found some food items; small flies; maggots and a pizza box. NO PIZZA! [discovery doc p. 2287]

1:05 a.m. OCSO Detective took Casey’s initial statement [discovery doc pp. 28 & 31] and questioned her regarding her “missing” child, Caylee Marie Anthony.

2 a.m. Lee leaves Tony L’s apartment. He returns to the Anthony home by 2:30 a.m. with Casey’s belongings she had left at Tony L’s apartment. He states the packing of Casey’s clothes and stuff probably was not done by her because it was too neat!! The Laptop was blue screened.

Other items Lee collected were a very large leopard print duffle bag full of Casey’s clothes; a white backpack with kind of a pattern or symbol on it containing more clothes; a large purse and her bathroom toiletries. There was also a more slender black bag which contained some paperwork that Lee used to house the laptop. [discovery doc pp. 1442 1443]

Cindy dumped them on the garage floor because she said they smelled of cigarette smoke. She proceeded to go through all of the stuff including the pockets. Cindy found her JC Penney and other credit cards in Casey’s wallet. Cindy quickly (removed the cash approx. $160 in $20 bills) from Casey’s wallet and pocketed it.  There was a driver’s license and another white card which was behind the license, according to Lee. The 1st responding female police officer snatches the white card, which Lee describes as some sort of ID card, out of Cindy’s hand and left the room.

Cindy claimed the white backpack brought from Tony apt. was the same one George described [White Backpack with little Brown Monkeys] that Caylee had on 6/16/08. George said this was NOT the same backpack.

2:58 a.m. Sean D. received a call from Casey’s cell phone. The call appeared on Sean’s phone as a missed call because he was asleep.

5:00 a.m. Casey called Mr. & Mrs. Jeffrey Dale H., Sr’s home The phone rang twice. The caller ID showed Anthony, Casey ph #407-619-9286. The Hopkins did not answer the call and there was no voice-mail message. [discovery doc p. 1643]

• 6:21:27 a.m. Someone in the Anthony home was using the HP Desktop computer searching for Zenaida on reunion.com.
• 6:50 a.m. Tony L. texted Casey: where is Caylee. Casey replies: I don’t know r u serious?
• 6:53 a.m. Tony L. texted: When did you find out?

7:27 a.m. Casey speaks with Tony on the phone after he questioned her about why she was texting responses to him. They talked for 2 hours and 2 minutes.

Another text message Casey sent to Tony L. read: If they never find her, guest who spends eternity in jail. According to Amy H., Tony L. read her this text message from Casey prior to her arrest.

Casey sent text message to Jesse G. Caylee is missing; she has been for 32 days. The second text said, her nanny took her.

Jesse G. checked Casey’s MySpace page and found that she had deleted over 200 pictures of herself and her with Caylee.

Casey also sent the same message Jesse G. received as a mass text to the following individuals: Mr. Crisp, Anthony R., Lauren G., Will W., Chris S., and Brittany S..

Brittany S. replied Casey replied, Her nanny someone I trusted took her. No calls until yesterday. a silver Ford Focus 4 door. Brittany saved the messages and submitted them to LE for evidence. OSCO retrieved text messages from the phone.

8:30 a.m. Cindy called Ryan P. Although he missed the call, Ryan P. did speak with Casey later in the morning.

Cindy overheard Casey on the phone in her bedroom talking to Tony L.

8:42 a.m. Casey sends a mass text message to several friends stating, “Caylee is missing. She has been for 32 days now. Please if you have any information call me on my cell or at home ***-***-****

9:30 a.m. Cindy said she heard Casey mention to Tony L. something about $14,000 and some kind of plan. She had been on the phone with him for about an hour, so Cindy told her to get off the phone and start getting the word out about Caylee missing. [Note: $14,000 in Shirley P’s MM account]

Brittany S. text reply to Casey. Casey texted response was, “her nanny someone I trusted took her. No calls until yesterday. A silver Ford Focus 4 door.”

Another text message Casey sent to Tony L. read: “If they never find her, guest who spends eternity in jail.” According to Amy H., Tony L. read her this text message from Casey prior to her arrest.

LE went to 2863 S. Conway RD, Apt 210 Sawgrass Apartments in Orlando, FL to interview Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez (ZFG). LE found information for a ZFG who did not live there, but had visited Sawgrass apartments on 6/17/08 to show interest in getting an apartment there. A LE detective contacted ZFG in Kissimmee by phone to request a meeting with her. Note: [The original LE transcript had 4/17/08 in the narrative statement as the date ZFG visited Sawgrass Apts. – this was corrected later.]

10:00 a.m. Ryan P. (Casey’s best friend since 5 y/o) returned her phone call. Cindy proceeded to tell him about Caylee missing; Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, Jeffrey Michael Hopkins, etc. Ryan P. was certain Casey never mentioned the name Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez to him.

Corporal Yuri Melich called Sgt. John Allen and requested he have someone go to the Anthony home to pick up Casey and meet up with him at Universal Studios.

12:30 p.m. Sgt. John Allen and Deputy Appie Wells picked up Casey at the Anthony home and drove her to Universal Studios to investigate her story about being a current employee. Casey said she had an office at Universal Studios, which is where she told LE she left her other cell phone. [LIE]

Casey did not have a Universal employee ID, but the security guard let them proceed on the property at the request of LE. Casey led them to an administrative building supposedly going to her office.

After walking down the hall a ways, Casey finally turned to the officers and admitted she did not have an office there. The deputies told Casey they knew she had not worked at that location since 2006. They also let Casey know that EVERYTHING SHE HAD TOLD THEM HAS BEEN A LIE! Casey’s response was, not everything I told you

1:20 p.m. The OCSO deputies invited Casey into a conference room to conduct a tape-recorded interview with her. They advised Casey that the conference room door was not locked and that she could leave at anytime. The detectives gave Casey the opportunity to change her story from what she had written in her sworn statement yesterday. Casey’s position was one of, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

The detectives had worked through the night investigating Casey’s story of what happened regarding Caylee’s disappearance and during the interview process they shared these findings with her.

Casey claimed that Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez worked for Universal Studios as a P/T seasonal employee. [LIE] She was not found in Universal Studios records as current or former employee.

Detectives learned that Casey was fired for job abandonment on 4/24/2006. They also learned that the two alleged outcry witnesses/co-workers DID NOT work at Universal Studios.

Jeffrey Michael Hopkins not found as current or former employee by Universal or Colorvision. [LIE] There is no evidence to show this person exists not an outcry witness for Casey. [Note: This person is NOT THE SAME Jeffrey Dale Hopkins, Jr. who was terminated from Universal Studios – 5/13/2002.]

Juliet Lewis not found as current or former employee by Universal or Colorvision. [LIE] There is no evidence to show this person exists not an outcry witness for Casey.

Casey said her direct supervisors name was Tom Manley. [LIE] There was no record found of him ever working for Universal Studios. Casey gave detectives her work ph # 407-224-1000 X104. Invalid phone extension [LIE]

After completion of the interview, the Detectives escorted Casey to a patrol car in the Universal parking lot. Sgt. John Allen showed Casey all of the Zenaida Gonzalez in their DAVID computerized database who were within the same age range. She did not identify any of them as the Zenaida in question. When shown the photo of the Zenaida Gonzalez from Kissimmee, FL Casey did not recognize her either and said, “She’s too old.” [discovery doc p. 2285]

Investigators said Casey also directed deputies to a complex on 301 N. North Hillside Drive, Orlando, FL. [LIE] This address was a seniors only facility which happened to be located across the street from where Casey’s ex-boyfriend (Ricardo M.) lived.

After that, they went to The Crossings at Conway, where Casey said Zany’s mother (Gloria) and stepfather (Victor) lived between mid-2006 to early 2007. LE canvassed the neighborhood knocking on several doors (i.e., 4279, 4283 & 4273) in an attempt to find someone who knew Gloria Fernandez. [LIE] No one knew of her or ZFG.

Casey claimed she went to Valencia College for about 1½ yrs after graduating Colonial High School. She told Ricardo M. that she was pursuing a certificate in event planning. Her classes held on Thursdays. [LIE]

Deputies stopped by to talk to Ms. Macklin, community manager at Sawgrass Apartments. All the individuals that are referred to in this case we have no active lease in our apartment community, Ms. Macklin said.

Ms. Macklin also stated the apartment located at 2863 S. Conway RD, Apt 210 Sawgrass Apts. had been vacant for 142 days (since 2/29/08). Mr. Turner, Maintenance person opened apt. #210 to show LE that it was vacant.

The Investigators from the OCSO retained a copy of the Guest Card. They called the cell phone number noted on the form and spoke with a Zenaida G. who lives in Kissimmee, FL.

She was shown a picture of Casey and Caylee Anthony. Zenaida G. said she did not know Casey and Caylee Anthony and signed the pictures of them stating same.

4:33 p.m.  OCSO LE arrested Caseyand charged her with Neglect of Child (Felony); False Official Statements and Obstruction of Criminal Investigation. Throughout their investigations, the deputies who spoke with Casey noted her demeanor as unemotional and detached no signs of concern or remorse for her alleged missing child. VIDEO

K9 Gerus (cadaver dog) alerted on Casey’s car at the rear passenger side finder/trunk. Gerus alerted to the odor of human decomposition.

OCSO authorizes towing of 1998 WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE from the Anthony home. [discovery doc pp. 2286 & 2287]

7:40 p.m. Officer R. Wilson, OPD responded to 100 S. Hughey AV (OPH Economics Crimes Unit) in reference to a fraud. He met with the victim, Amy H. and took her sworn written statement regarding Casey Anthonys unauthorized use of her checking account while Amy H. during the week of 7/8/08 while she was on vacation in Puerto Rico.

7:46 p.m. (approx. time) Deputy Beasley impounded the 1998 WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE which was transported to the Forensic Bay by Johnsons Wrecker. Gerardo Bloise, CSI OCSO conducted an examination of Casey’s vehicle.

Cindy allegedly told Brittany S. that Casey was guilty of something… did not know exactly what, but she didn’t care if Casey was put behind bars for the rest of her life as long as she got Caylee back.

According to Brittany S., Cindy allegedly said, Casey had something to do for her job, which caused Casey to be in Jacksonville, FL for about a month.

11:16 p.m. From jail, Casey calls her family and talks with Cindy, Lee, and her friend, Kristina C. Casey was angry with her mother about Cindy’s TV interview (Casey referred to it as a “cameo appearance”). Casey demanded that Cindy  put Lee on the phone so she could get Tony L.’s phone number… he was the only one she wanted to speak with.  Casey expressed absolutely no concern for the whereabouts of her daughter, Caylee.

Cindy handed the phone to one of Casey’s close friends named Kristina C. with hopes that she would confide in her or to get some clues regarding finding Caylee. Kristina C. became emotional over the possibility of something bad happening to Caylee. She said, if anything has happened to Caylee, Ill die do you understand, Ill die if anything happened to that baby! Casey’s response was, oh well, OMG! Calling you guys is a waste a huge waste!

11:30 p.m. After her unsuccessful attempt to speak with Tony L. on the phone, Casey placed a collect call from the OC Correction Facility to Chris S. After hearing the announcement recording and Casey’s voice stating her name, Chris hangs up the phone. She called back about 3 to 4 minutes later, but Chris did not answer the call.

THU, July 17, 2008 Casey appears in court, during which time Judge John Jordan denies bond. He said Casey showed a woeful disregard for the welfare of her child. Officially charged with child neglect, lying to investigators and interfering with a criminal investigation.

OC Investigators decided to use search dogs, cadaver dogs and tools to look for clues in the Anthonys backyard. They worked for 5 hours up until midnight. Like everybody, I’m hopeful we find the child alive, but we want to be prudent and follow up every lead we get, said Sgt. John Allen of the OCSO.

Cadaver dog(s) alerted to these areas:

• Playhouse (2)
• Patch of ground between playhouse and covered sandbox (2)
• Spot of ground at the corner of the screened porch (1)

3:35 p.m. Detective Appling Wells conducted an audio-taped interview of Brian B. while sitting in a vehicle parked in an H & B Trading company parking lot.

5:07 p.m. Detective Wells drives Brian B. to his home (next door to the Anthonys on Hopespring DR).  They completed the 2nd part of the audio-taped interview. The shovel was taken into possession by OCSO. Brian B. stated the shovel had not been used since Casey borrowed it.

OCSO Deputies search Casey’s car and bagged several items as evidence, including dirt, samples of hair deemed to be the same color and length as Caylee’s, and a carpet sample that investigators have called questionable.

Amy went to Tony L’s apartment to pick up her checkbook. Although she had closed out her bank account, Amy just wanted it back and to have a conversation with Tony. They talked for approx. 1 1/2 about how Casey had deceived them.

The Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment posted to Amy H.s bank account in the amount of $574.60.This payment was for AT&T Cellular service for Casey Anthony.

FRI, July 18, 2008 OC Investigators returned to the Anthony home around noon and worked for 5 hours with the cadaver dogs to search the Anthony yard with special interest on a new spot from the day before.

The EFT payment in the amount of $574.60 issued to AT&T for Casey’s cell phone bill was returned due to NSF. [discovery doc p. 934]

SAT, July 19, 2008 A tattoo appointment at Cast Iron Tattoo was booked on today’s date for Casey and a friend (un-named). She made the appointment during her last visit (7/15/08) .

9:53 p.m. 10:12 p.m. LE Interview session with Kiomarie C. The OSCO Detective was sitting in front of the Hidden Oaks Elementary School at 9051 Suburban Drive with Kiomarie C. in the car.

SUN, August 17, 2008 – Bail Bondsman Tony Padilla, Bounty Hunters Leonard Padilla, Tracy McLaughlin and Rob Dick arrived in Orlando, FL. They attended the candlelight vigil at the Anthony home. After the vigil, they agreed to meet  in an office complex located on Orange Blossom Trail, Orland, FL. Atty. José Baez was not there.

MON, August 18, 2008 – G & C Anthony’s scheduled jail house visit for 9:00 a.m.

Keith W. claims he showed a “Fathers Day” balloon, stuffed animals and items of clothing he found near the Hidden Oak Elementary School to Cindy Anthony. She claimed no recognition of the items and stated Caylee was alive. Deputy Richard Cain investigated the find and did not believe these items were related to the Casey Anthony case.  He filed no incident report and only mentioned it via e-mail.

TUE, August 19, 2008 – Tony Padilla, Bondsman and Leonard Padilla, Bounty Hunter signed a Privacy Agreement which was written by the José Baez Law Firm. This agreement applies to all associates, employees, etc. acting on their [Tony & Leonard Padillas’s] behalf. The Padillas et al are acting as surety posting the bond for Casey Anthony.

WED, August 20, 2008 – Tropical Storm Fay threatens Central Florida.  There is a potential for heavy rainfall resulting in extensive flooding over the course of 2 or 3 days. [Note: Tropical Storm Fay is the first storm in recorded history to make landfall in FL 4 times.

A secret meeting took place at the I-Hop located next door to the OC Corrections Center. Atty. Baez met with members of Al Estes (a bonding agent from Clearwater, FL) It was stated that they were working through some paperwork issues. Leonard Padilla and Rob Dick waited on the corner for about 20 mins. while this meeting took place.

4:00 p.m. – Behind the scenes, Bail Bondsman, Tony Padilla covered the $500,200 Bond and his uncle, Leonard Padilla, Bounty Hunter paid the $50,200 bail for Casey Anthony.  LP says he believes she will be instrumental in finding her daughter. He understands that he and his team can not ask her questions, but LP hopes Casey will volunteer information that will help him find Caylee.

On the Record with Greta: Atty. José Baez said, “First of all, they [LP Team] will not have access to her. They just have one person who’ll be staying in the home. They are not to question her. I have specific instructions for the bondsman and the bounty hunters, and they are not to question her in any shape or form. And my client knows. My client is not a fool. She knows that she is not to speak with these people.”

THU, August 21, 2008 – The pre-trial hearing for the criminal case was set for 11/5/08 and the trial date was set for 11/17/08.

Casey was given a psychological evaluation and she was fitted with an electronic monitoring device in preparation for Home Confinement.

THU, August 21, 2008 thru FRI, August 29, 2008 – Tracy M. of the Leonard Padilla Bounty Hunter team was assigned to be with Casey 24/7. She was the only one on LP’s team who was allowed to stay overnight in the Anthony home. Noted below are some highlights of her observations and conversations with Casey:

•  Casey’s demeanor was happy-go-lucky and personable – greeting Tracy M. with a big hug and smile. Casey mentioned that OC Correctional officers were nice to her and “they love me.”
• Casey never mentioned Caylee. Tracy M. talked about Caylee pics, Casey gets out her photo album and just talked about herself
• George kept his distance from Casey after a shouting match with her. He demanding that she stop telling LIES!
• Tracy was stunned by Casey’s stone-cold reaction to a finding that air sample test results from her car trunk showed signs of human decomposition. Casey’s response was “A lot of people had access to that car,”
• Tracy mentioned the death band on the hair found in the trunk. Casey replied, “Well I’m alive.”
• Casey’s comment about “they haven’t found her clothes” was strange
• Casey said, “They didn’t get the timeline right” as she watch media coverage of her case.
• Cindy & Casey’s comments about the shovel and ladder conflicted. Casey said she was using the shovel to knock the bamboo down and to get the ladder out of the pool. Cindy gives Casey a shut your mouth look. Later Cindy explained to Tracy why Casey was using the shovel to remove the bamboo shoots.
• Casey says, “If it goes to court it’s going to be a mistrial & change of venue – there are so many discrepancies in the discovery…. everybody is lying….there’s too much publicity….”  
• Casey’s comment about chloroform. Tracy mentioned GHB – commonly called the date-rape drug. Tracy asked Casey if she knew what the drug was and its effects. Casey said, “Like roofies or chloroform,” [Note: Roofies is slang for Rohypnol – aka: date-rape drug.]
• Casey listened obsessively (13 times) to a song called ♪ ♫ ♪  “The Past” ♪ ♫ ♪ by Sevendust w/Chris Daughtry

FRI, August 22, 2008 – Casey has an approved scheduled meeting (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) with her Attorney José Baez, at his office in Kissimmee, FL.

While en route to José Baez’s office Casey tells Rob D. and Tracy M. how Zenaida kidnapped Caylee at J Blanchard Park… around 2 p.m…. they were playing with Samantha’s kids and all of a sudden she saw them getting into the car…. Casey says, “what’s going on?”  Zenaida pushed her down…. gave her a script….

4 p.m. Casey was still at her attorney’s office.  Atty. Baez called requesting extensions due to rain and traffic conditions to 5:30. Casey arrived home at 6 p.m. “We won’t be doing this again,” OC Corrections Department spokesperson Allen Moore said. This is a 1-time reprieve.

SUN, August 24, 2008 – The Anthony family was asked not to attend church today due to concerns about turning the service into a media circus.  A Baptist Pastor and a church sister went to the Anthony home instead.

MON, August 25, 2008 – ASA, Linda Drane-Burdick sent Atty. Jose Baez a reminder notice via e-mail regarding the previously offered Limited Use Immunity for his client Casey to participate in locating her child, Caylee Marie.

The GLOBE Feature Story: “Caylee Died in Family Pool & Mom’s To Blame” – this article displays a picture of Caylee and Casey sitting on a couch. Caylee is wearing a pink BIG TROUBLE T-Shirt.  Casey is playing a white guitar. The pictures of them on the couch were taken on 19 March 2008 –  Casey’s Birthday.

DCF interviewed Casey at the Anthony home.  Cindy also participated in the 1 ½ hr. session. Casey gave the name “Eric” as Caylee’s father. She said Eric was killed in a car crash and he was buried in KY. [LIE] She used an excuse of Eric’s family privacy to explain why she would not provide a last name. Casey told the DCF personnel the family now lives in Italy.

Casey claimed Eric had set up a Trust Fund for Caylee. [LIE] Caylee had insurance with Cigna (previously the insurance was with Blue Cross & Blue Shield), according to Casey. [discovery doc p. 2253]

Procknow asked about the court ordered psychology testing.  Casey stated she completed a MMPI [The results of this test were sealed by the court] and she was told everything was normal.  She has never been diagnosed with any mental health condition and does not take any meds. [discovery doc p. 2254]

Casey told the DCF counselors Caylee had been missing since 6/15/08. [discovery doc p. 2257]

Annie D. visits with Casey at the Anthony home. She claims C & G Anthony picked her up at a Publix and took her to their home.  This visit was approx. 2 hrs. in duration. Annie D. said, Casey told her that everything she has been saying about Caylee missing was because she was told to say those things.

Casey also told Anne D. that when this was all over, she had so much to tell her. Annie D. claims she told Casey she didn’t want to know. Annie said she did not want to be the one person that knew everything, yet she inquired about the chloroform in the trunk of Casey’s car.

TUE, August 26, 2008 – Prosecutors released 400+ pages of documents from their investigation into Caylee’s disappearance. The documents reveal, among other items of interest, that Cindy Anthony called her daughter, Casey, “a sociopath and a “mooch.”

WED, August 27, 2008 – Anthony R. (rookie cop) was terminated after he lied about having an intimate relationship with Casey Anthony.

Casey offers to work with the FBI to make a composite sketch of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.

Preliminary test results from the TN’s Body Farm on air samples taken from the trunk of Casey’s vehicle shows the odor in her car is from human decomposition. Officials say air samples prove a body was in Casey Anthony’s car.

The SAO confirms an offer of LIMITED IMMUNITY to Casey Anthony for statements she would make if it would help investigators find Caylee.  The offer was due to expire tomorrow at noon.  However, in response to Mr. Baez’s request, Ms. Drane Burdick agreed to an extension until 9/2/08.

THU, August 28, 2008 – Amy H. voluntarily took a polygraph test which was administered by the FBI.

3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Cindy Anthony and Tim Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch (TES) had a one hour meeting at the OCSO. Cindy had contacted TES asking for help with finding Caylee. Tim Miller’s 25 member team is en route to Orlando, FL in a mobile command center – a big RV hauling ATVs. They are expected to arrive tomorrow.

FRI, August 29, 2008 – Tim Miller and Lisa Hoffman of Texas EquuSearch (TES) went to the Anthony home to solicit input from Casey regarding where to start searching for Caylee. Tim and George attempted to coax Casey into placing an ‘X’ on a map. Casey bolted and retreated to her bedroom. Tim Campbell (George’s friend from OH) said the only one who knows where Caylee is just went into her bedroom and the “Bioatch ain’t talking!” Cindy went ballistic about them wanting to look for a “body” versus Caylee alive, so she told them all to get the hell out of her house.

8:30 p.m. OCSO LE arrested Casey Anthony, again. In the middle of the CCN/Nancy Grace Show, Jane Velez-Mitchell (show host sitting in for NG) captured live video footage of this event – BREAKING NEWS!  Protesters were in the streets in front of the Anthony home cheering.

Casey Anthony was arraigned. Her bail was set for a total of $3,000. Breakdown as follows: Uttering a Forged Instrument – $1,500; Fraudulent use of Personal Information – $$1,000 and Petit Theft – $500

Tony and Leonard Padilla were seriously considering revoking the $500,200 bond.  Casey’s rearrest today presented the opportunity for them to reclaim the bond. In order for Casey to be released now , she must be able to come up with 10% of her new bond amount of $503,200.

OCSO receives detailed phone records on an Erica Gonzalez in Oviedo, FL.  Deputies serve Casey, George, Cindy and Lee Anthony with criminal witness subpoenas to appear in court sometime in November.

Local 6 News exclusively obtained e-mails from Casey to Dakota S. who believes Caylee is still alive.  Dakota S. was hospitalized with a severe stress-related medical issue after hearing that sources recently said DNA results and air sample tests from Casey’s car suggest that Caylee is likely dead, according to what Lois P. (Dakota’s grandmother) told Local 6 News.

Dakota S. received a bracelet with the words “my friend, my sister” from Casey.  She also received a hand-written note from Casey that said:

Hey Sweetie! I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for my family. I am really looking forward to seeing you. We will schedule something very soon, I promise. I would love to have you spend the night, and spend time getting to know each other. You are such an amazing girl and already a true friend. We are so blessed to have you and your Mom in our lives. SUN, August 31, 2008 – Sgt. John Allen from the OCSO said, “There’s evidence to suggest there was a body in the trunk of Casey’s car and that body was Caylee’s.”  

Approx. 150 volunteers came out to help Texas Equusearch, an organization using computer mapping and other high-tech means to try to find the remains of Caylee Marie Anthony.  “We’ve come across a lot of areas. We’ve ruled out a lot of areas she’s not, so that’s progress,” said Mandy Albritton of TES.

MON, June 1, 2009  – Lois P. from St. Cloud (Osceola County) went to the natural memorial site on Suburban Drive with her 13-year-old grand daughter, Dakota S. and two adult friends to leave a cross.  At approx. 10:30 p.m. they saw Cindy Anthony putting something into the trunk of a Black SUV, which was being driven by George Anthony.

The cross that they had placed earlier was gone, Lois P., said. They took a pic, and that is what appeared to have set off a high speed chase.

The Milsteads (founders of KFN) were in one truck and the Anthonys in another vehicle chasing Lois P.’s car around the neighborhood, boxing them in twice. Lois P. and the other 2 adult friends have filed complaints and this matter is under investigation by the OCSO.

Atty. José Baez filed another Motion to Stay the video tape of Casey taken on 12/11/08 as she watched a WFTV news report that a child’s remains were found. He filed the same motion last week, but it was filed to late for the judge to have time to read it.

Atty. Jonathen Kasen (Casey Anthony’s Lawyer for the ZFG civil suit) filed another “Motion to Stay” the civil case until resolution of the criminal case.

MON, June 8, 2009 – Atty. José Baez has filed a new motion to delay the decision on the possible release of the 12/11/08 jail video tape.  He alleges the Prosecutors and LE have improperly leaked secret information about the criminal case against Casey to the media.

The media has filed motions objecting to the Baez Defense Team request to seal the 12/11/08 jailhouse video tape of Casey Anthony.  The Prosecution has no preference. Late in the afternoon, Atty. Baez asked the court to postpone the next hearing in regards to this tape.

G & C Anthony will not be charged over the incident of the alleged attempted attack and chasing of Lois P. and others at the natural memorial site for Caylee on Suburban Drive.

THU, June 11, 2009 – Atty. Brad Conway filed a motion today to block the release of the autopsy findings. The timing of the motion being filed did not give the media enough notice; therefore the judge delayed the release until all affected parties have an opportunity to argue their positions in a court hearing.

Approx. 1,000 discovery documents are expected to be released tomorrow. However, Judge Stan Strickland ordered a “Temporary Stay” on the release of Caylee Anthony’s Autopsy Report, which was originally included in the doc release.

FRI, June 12, 2009  – The State Attorney’s Office released 855 pages of documents. [Re: Case documents released]

Dr. Jan Garavaglia, Medical Examiner said the Autopsy Report on the remains of Caylee Marie Anthony draws no new conclusions as to her cause of death.

Dr. G. reported in December 2008 that the toddler’s death was a homicide of unknown origin. However, she added that she included a summary of conclusions drawn about what happened to Caylee based on tests and other evidence gathered since she made her initial findings.

P.I. Dominic Casey is the subject for a Contempt Motion after he failed to show up for deposition on 3/25/09 at the Morgan & Morgan Law Firm. Judge José Rodriguez has not ruled on the Contempt Motion.

TUE, June 15, 2009 – One year ago today, Caylee was last seen alive by several people at a Mt. Dora Nursing Home. This visit with Cindy’s father, Alex P. was captured on video and camera.

Several news media wrote articles that included highlights of the Caylee Marie Anthony story.

TUE, June 16, 2009 – G & C Anthony appeared on CBS News: The Early Show. When George spoke about the last day he saw Caylee, he mentioned having breakfast with her at 7:30 a.m.  [In previous statements, George only mentions seeing Casey and Caylee leaving the house on 6/16/08 at 12:50 p.m.]

George is the only person who claimed to have seen Caylee on 6/16/08.   Cindy responded to Ron Cummings’ comment about not wanting their help by saying he made a mistake. She said, no one should turn away help from anyone.

Atty. Brad Conway appeared on the ABC News: Good Morning America.  He stated that the Atty. Baez made the decision for the Anthony family to not visit Casey in jail because the visits would be video-taped. Atty. Conway also spoke about his and his clients’ efforts to get control over the information that the public gets to see.  They want to make sure Casey gets a fair trial.

Atty. Linda Kenny-Baden and her husband, Dr. Michael Baden appeared on the NBC News: Today Show.  She claimed they [Casey Anthony’s Criminal Defense Team of Lawyers] have an innocent client.  The Badens’ new criminal thriller “Skeleton Justice” debuts today. They answered questions about their book, but would not comment on the case against Casey.

Approximately 35 – 40 people attended the Caylee Anthony Memorial Vigil at J Blanchard Park. Rev. Richard Grund presided over the ceremony which started at 6 p.m. and concluded at 7 p.m.

TUE, June 17, 2009 – Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland issued a 3-page order today to seal the jail house video tape (recorded on 12/11/08) of Casey Anthony’s reaction to news about the remains of a small child being found near the Anthony home.

The Orlando Sentinel filed a Motion to Intervene, which Judge Strickland GRANTED.

“Considering the matter and penalty at hand, it does seem too great a restraint to limit access to the video in question. Therefore, the defendant’s Motion to Seal the videotape is GRANTED, and it must not be released for viewing by the general public or media, until further order of the court.” – Judge Stan Strickland.

“While the court is loathed to shield any public record, an argument can certainly be made that the contents of the video are highly inflammatory,” Strickland wrote in his 3-page order.

FRI, June 19, 2009 – George Anthony delivered an emotional plea to Judge Stan Strickland asking that the results of Caylee Marie Anthony’s Autopsy Report be held until the Casey Anthony trial begins.

Atty. Brad Conway said he saw no reason for the autopsy results to be released, saying the information would cause needless additional pain and suffering to his clients – G & C Anthony.

Judge Stan Strickland ruled to allow the release of Caylee Anthony’s Autopsy Report (excluding x-rays) to the public. While he expressed compassion for the Anthony family, Judge Strickland’s decision was based on the fact that there was nothing in the Autopsy Report that would interfere with Casey Anthony’s ability to get a fair trial and the laws regarding public records accessibility are very clear, therefore the Motion to Stay the Release of the Autopsy Report was DENIED.   

After Judge Strickland’s ruling, Atty. José Baez, representing Casey Anthony, asked the judge for a 48-hour stay on the release of the documents. DENIED For the record Baez stated his objection.

Highlights from the Autopsy Report, Forensic Report and other related documents released today are as follows:

• The Autopsy Report shows they collected an almost complete skeleton of a young child with only multiple small bones missing.
• Dr. G noted that although there was “no trauma evident to the skeleton,” the duct tape on Caylee’s mouth “was clearly placed prior to decomposition.”
• The full test results from air samples taken from Casey Anthony’s car concluded that compounds associated with HUMAN DECOMPOSITION were found. [not from pizza and not from squirrels]
• There is duct tape over the lower facial region still attached to scalp hairs.  [Note: Three 2 1/2″ stips of duct tape covered the mouth and nose which kept the mandible in place]
• Based on the fact that roots had begun to grow in the vertebrae of the skeleton, Dr. G concluded that Caylee’s body had been placed there a short time after 6/15/08.
• Fragments of clothing and other items were also found with the remains
  

FRI, June 19, 2009 – The Prosecution filed a Motion to Compel Photographs of Casey Anthony’s tattoo – “Bella Vita”, which she obtained on 7/3/08 at the Cast Iron Tattoo Shop.

The Prosecution filed a Motion to Determine a New Trial Date for the Financial/Check Fraud charges.

FRI, June 26, 2009 – A court hearings are scheduled for 9/8/09 at 10 a.m.  and 9/9/09 at 3:15 p.m. to address pending motions (i.e., Motion to Dismiss; Compel George, Cindy and Lee Anthony to answer questions not answered in their depositions; and possibly to hold in Contempt P.I. Dominic Casey) in the ZFG civil case.

FRI, May 1, 2009  – Hundreds of pages were released today in the case against Casey Anthony. No additional incriminating evidence was revealed.  Included in the document release were lab results from evidence found in the Anthony home, Casey’s car and in the woods on Suburban Drive where Caylee’s remains were found.

The detectives were trying to link evidence from all three locations, but based on the lab results so far, there is no conclusive scientific connection.

Scientists at the FBI lab examined Caylee’s hair for foreign chemicals, specifically muscle relaxants and Xanex, but no chemicals were found. However, there were textile fibers of various types found on the hair mass, debris from the skull and the tape.  They were saved for future comparisons.  Additional trace evidence examinations are continuing and will be in a separate report.

MON, May 4, 2009 – Defense Atty. José Baez filed a motion for a change of venue to South FL. He is requesting that Casey Anthony’s 1st Degree Murder Trial be moved to Miami-Dade County.  In the 17-page motion, Baez listed several examples of media reports on the case — ranging from protesters staged outside the Anthony home to audio files of law-enforcement interviews.

Based on the volume of reporting on the case combined with the Orange County community reaction to Caylee’s death, Atty. Baez is making a case that a change of venue would improve Casey’s ability to get a fair trial. Motion For Change Of Venue

THU, May 7, 2009 – The SAO Assistant State Attorney, Jeffrey Ashton filed a motion requesting a hearing to find out who will be the Lead Criminal Defense atty. – DP case qualified in the 1^st Degree Murder Case against Casey Anthony.

Atty. José Baez is not qualified to defend a death penalty case and Terence Lenamon notified Casey Anthony of his withdrawal from her case effective 12/06/08.

The defense filed an objection to the motion, saying that it is not necessary because a qualified atty. will be announced at the next hearing scheduled for 5/28/09.

TUE, May 12, 2009 – Terence Lenamon on NG….. Atty. Terence Lenamon now says he stopped representing Casey because he did not agree with the legal strategy of her lead attorney Jose Baez.

“We had a difference in what I believe should have been done with the approach that is mental health related,” per Lenamon’s interview on CNN’s Nancy Grace Show. VIDEO

In a report presented to prosecutors on 11/5/08, Lenamon explained why Anthony’s case didn’t fit the state’s criteria for the DP. Lenamon explored Anthony’s erratic behavior. “After Caylee was born, people noticed a different person…. her spending, bad-check writing and multiple unstable relationships “indicate episodes of extreme emotional disturbance,” he wrote.

OC Corrections Center officials are denying a report that Casey Anthony had to be restrained the day she found out the state was seeking the death penalty. Teri Thomas – aka: Teri Narsesian (inmate), claims she observed Casey in her cell pod on 4/13/09 when Casey learned the SAO was seeking the Death Penalty against her. Teri claimed she witnessed Casey saying, “I’m pissed, I’m pissed….and that Casey asked Teri to help her as she was being restrained by correctional officers.   The Orange County Correctional officials say this never happened! (According to WESH)

WED, May 13, 2009 – Bill Sheaffer, WFTV legal analysis called Lenamon’s statement a “BOMBSHELL.”  “In order to employ a mental-health defense, one has to admit the act,” Sheaffer said. “We must assume that prior to making this statement, that this attorney was fully apprised of all the facts in this case.”

G & C Anthony and Atty. Brad Conway are guests on CNN’s Larry King Live Show. Their last appearance on this show was on 12/10/08 (the day before Caylee’s remains were found).  Larry King kicked on the show by holding stacks of papers representing thousands of comments and questions from bloggers regarding the Anthonys. He warned that most of the comments were negative.

MON, May 18, 2009 – Deputy Richard Cain’s hearing on the appeal of his termination – CANCELED.  He tendered his resignation  today.

MON, May 19, 2009 – Court hearing held with Judge José Rodriguez presiding.  Attys. Mitnik & Wells represented Zenaida Gonzalez in the civil suit against Casey Anthony.  Atty. Jonathan Kasen represented Casey Anthony.  Atty. Kasen’s motion to dismiss was DENIED.  Atty. Mitnik’s motion to amend civil suit to include punitive damages was GRANTED. ZFG now seeking more than $15,000 in damages.

MON, May 20, 2009  – The court hearing scheduled for today started late only to have on the record the reason it was being CANCELED.  Earlier today Atty. Brad Conway  called Atty. Keith Mitnik to inform him that he would not be able to attend court because he injured his back.  Atty. Mitnik asked about doing the process by phone, but Atty. Conway declined.

Three complaints against Atty. José A. Baez are being heard by a grievance committee.  These complaints were filed with the FL Bar by Judge Stan Strickland, P.I. Dominic Casey (claiming that Atty. Baez had told him not to call 911 if he found the body of Caylee Anthony) and 3^rd person [not identified] .

THU, May 21, 2009  – Annie Downing arrived at the Morgan & Morgan Law Firm with her Criminal Atty. Warren W. Lindsey for her deposition.

Annie testified that she did not know anything about Casey having a Nanny, and she had not heard the name Zanny or Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez from Casey.  She only knew the ZFG name from on the news.

The first time Casey was released from jail on bond, Annie visited with her for a couple of hours.   The second visit was a sleep-over.  Annie claims Casey told her, when this is all over, I have a lot to tell you.  Casey told Annie “they” told her what to say and that she had a “gut feeling Caylee would be home by her 3^rd birthday.”

Annie claimed she told Casey, “I really don’t want to know.”.She didn’t want to be that person that knew everything.  However, Annie did inquire about the chloroform in Casey’s trunk.  She claims Casey told her it must have come from some of those cleaning supplies in the trunk.

Annie also spoke about the on-going friction between Cindy and Casey regarding parenting Caylee. Other arguments had to do with Cindy wanting Casey and Caylee to stay in the home and Casey wanting to move out.

FRI, May 22, 2009 – Orange County Court records show just over 100 pages of new documents were released to Atty. José Baez, this week. Since the beginning of the Casey Anthony case (July 2008), investigators have generated just under 6,500 pages of discovery docs, a/v taped interviews and other material.

MON, May 25, 2009 – MEMORIAL DAY! Speedpark Motorsports in Daytona along with Take 25, a program from The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children were the sponsors.  The events purpose was to remember and look for clues in some high profile missing children’s cases.  G & C Anthony attended. Cindy spent some time on the track drag racing [photo op].

THU, May 28, 2009  – Court Hearing with Judge Stan Strickland presiding.  The new DEATH PENALTY QUALIFIED Atty., Professor Andrea D. Lyon  from the state of IL joined the Baez Defense team.  Also present on the defense team were Attys. Linda Kenny-Baden and Todd E. Macaluso.

Atty. Macaluso told the judge that releasing the surveillance video would violate Anthony’s right to privacy since it was filmed while she was in a medical office at the OC Corrections Center, seeking medical treatment.

Casey’s attys. have alleged that her jailers worked with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to have the television news on in the medical office so Anthony’s reaction could be recorded.  The OCSO said there was no orchestration with the jail.

The Prosecutors argued that they have not had enough time to review and response to the Atty. Baez’s new motion.  Judge Stan Strickland delayed a decision on whether to release the video of Casey’s reaction on 12/11/08, saying he also wanted input from lawyers representing the media organizations pursuant to the state’s public records law.  Media attys. have 7 days to weigh in on this issue.

The OC Corrections Center has 7 days to respond to allegations it violated Casey’s civil rights when it recorded her reaction to a child’s remains being found.

When Atty. Baez made his arguments to provide justification for requesting phone records for the named individuals, he singled out Jesse G. was a suspect at some point in time during the investigation into Caylee’s disappearance.  That comment is FALSE.

 Judge Strickland instructed Atty. Baez to narrow the scope of his request for phone records and to provide a statement of material relevance for Jesse G., Amy H., and Roy K. [These are the individuals who had attys. present at the hearing to object to the subpoena on their behalf].

For all of the others whose records were requested, the subpoena will be GRANTED. Those individuals who did not have legal counsel making objections on their behalf are as follows:

Lyon said her first priority is to thoroughly review the case, which could mean the trial may not start by October 2009. Prof. Lyon plans to file motions with the court that will challenge the prosecutions’ decision to make this a Death Penalty case.

WED, April 1, 2009 – APRIL FOOL’S DAY!   Atty. José Baez had earlier filed a request for an ex-parte hearing before Judge Stan Strickland.  Baez wanted to meet with the judge in private so “sensitive matters which are critical to the defense can be addressed.”  Baez stated he did not want the prosecution and the public to know about any defense theories.  

Strickland noted in his order: “No legal authority has been provided to allow an ex-parte hearing under the circumstances outlined in defendant’s motion.”  DENIED

Kiomarie C. was deposed by Atty. Baez. Kiomarie C. sold her story to the National Enquirer. She told the National Enquirer the spot where Caylee’s body was found is the same area –“The Zone,” where she and Casey spent lots of time. Kiomarie C. said she and Casey used the land as a pet cemetery.  She also said they wore black dresses and prayed as they buried their dead pets.

FRI, April 3, 2009 ^– The Morgan & Morgan Law Firm (representing ZFG) filed a motion for contempt because P.I. Dominic Casey was a NO SHOW for his deposition which was scheduled for 3/25/09.   P.I. Casey asked a judge to delay the deposition so he could hire a new attorney.  ZFG’s attys. want a judge to find P.I. Casey in contempt and sanction him for their expenses.

P.I. Dominic Casey’s license could also be in jeopardy after a judge found that he divulged defense secrets to detectives investigating the Caylee Anthony murder.

MON, April 7, 2009 – Prosecutors told Eyewitness News they mistakenly released the recordings of the jail officers who saw Casey on 12/11/08; the day a small childs’ remains were found near the Anthony home.  At the time, it the remains had not been officially identified.

The officers said Casey heard the news on the radio in her jail cell and later saw WFTV’s special report on TV.

The Prosecutor stated that the audio tapes were supposed to be held until a judge ruled on a defense request to keep them away from the public.

WED, April 8, 2009 – Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland is one of two people who have filed new complaints against José Baez. The FL Bar says both investigations involve Baez’s former P.I. Dominic Casey.

P.I. Dominic Casey told detectives he would’ve called 911 if he had found Caylee in November, but also that he was told not to call 911 by someone he apparently identified during an interview, which Judge Strickland sealed because it divulged defense secrets.

According to Eyewitness News Atty. Brad Conway was with P.I. Dominic Casey when he gave investigators information that Judge Strickland later determined was privileged to the defense.

WED, April 9, 2009  – George Anthony’s deposition was held at 10:30 a.m. in the mock courtroom of the Morgan & Morgan Law Firm located in downtown Orlando, FL.  George is now on record as having publicly stated that the ZFG who filed the civil suit for defamation against Casey Anthony is not the ZFG that Casey alleged kidnapped her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

Cynthia Anthony’s deposition was held at 1:30 p.m. at the same location as George’s depo. Cindy  is now on record as having publicly stated that the ZFG who filed the civil suit for defamation against Casey Anthony is not the ZFG that Casey alleged kidnapped her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

FL Atty. Gen. Bill McCollum filed a law suit against Jaime Salcedo and his company, Showbiz Promotions.  He claimed that the profits from the Caylee doll would benefit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

The lawsuit filed by the state alleges Mr. Salcedo and his company intentionally misrepresented that a $5,000 donation was made to the NCMEC by Showbiz Promotions when, in fact, only a $10 donation has been confirmed.

THU, April 10, 2009 – Deputy Richard Cain, OCSO was fired after an internal investigation found his actions to be negligent – failure to properly investigate a tip called in by Roy K. in August 2008.

It is believed that tip might have led investigators earlier to the body of missing Caylee Marie Anthony.  He intends to appeal the termination, a sheriff’s spokesperson said.

Richard Cain was fired by the OCSO, but he refused the termination and will keep his job w/pay until an appeal is heard.

Atty. José Baez filed a motion requesting Judge Stan Strickland to order 11 different phone companies to turn over records of calls, texts and even cell tower pings to the defense. He wants this information for Lee, Cindy & George Anthony, Ricardo M., Tony L., Amy H., Jesse G., Roy K., Keith W., Richard C., Dominic C. and Jim H.

MON, April 13, 2009 – The Prosecution filed a Notice of Intent to seek the DEATH PENALTY in the case against Casey Anthony.  “Based upon additional information that has become available since the waiver of intent to seek the penalty of death filed on December 5, 2008, sufficient aggravating circumstances exist to justify the imposition of the Death Penalty,” the filed letter states.

G & C Anthony are scheduled to appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show sometime in May 2009. No exact date has been set at this time.

THU, April 16, 2009 – Central FL State Congressman Alan Grayson (D-Orlando) wants to fund a $500,000 program with Federal Taxpayer money that would help find missing children. The funding, which must still be approved, would provide additional resources for law enforcement to look for missing children and it would honor Caylee Marie Anthony.

MON, April 20, 2009  – Roy K. has filed a Protective Order so he does not have to turn over certain phone records to Casey Anthony’s defense team.

Roy K. said José Baez’s recent application to subpoena phone records is “overbroad, and constitutes harassment.” David Evans (Roy K.’s lawyer) said Roy K. would not be opposed to a limited subpoena to determine if he ever had contact with Casey Anthony, her family or the Anthony’s private investigators.

TUE, April 21, 2009 – Oprah Winfrey Show canceled the interview with G & C Anthony. “Based on the Anthonys’ decision to appear on other programs, we have decided not to move forward with their interview on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ at this time,” the spokesperson said.

Although Cindy claimed she declined Oprah’s offer based on “integrity,” her Attorney Brad Conway publicly stated the reason for the cancellation was because Oprah demanded exclusivity and that was not going to happen.

THU, April 23, 2009 – Cindy Anthony was scheduled to be a keynote speaker on the first day of the Melanie Ilene Rieger’s Memorial Conference  (May 13th & 14th) in CT. After receiving hate mail and threats, the Anthonys were uninvited.

The Morgan & Morgan Law Firm filed a “Motion to Compel” against George Anthony.  On 4/9/09   George refused to answer specific questions in a deposition for the ZFG civil suit.

MON, March 2, 2009 – Casey Anthony appeared in an Orange County court.  Her Atty. José Baez motioned the court to stay the release of discovery for personal pictures on Photobucket of Casey and the jailhouse video-tape of her reaction to the news that human remains were found near the Anthony home on 12/11/08.

Judge Strickland ruled that the Photobucket pics would NOT be blocked from being released to the public.  However, the jailhouse video-tape would be blocked for now.  Atty. Baez has 20 days to view the video and to motion the court to seal.

The judge also set a tentative trial date for the 1^st Degree Murder Charge case against Casey Anthony for 10/12/09.

C & G Anthony were in attendance at the 2 hr. hearing today. They had not seen Casey since 10/14/2008.  Atty. Brad Conway was also present.

A new Defense Atty. named Todd Macaluso joins the José Baez’s Defense Team.  He specializes in accident reconstruction.  Atty. Macaluso served as co-counsel in today’s hearing.

TUE, March 3, 2009 – Atty. Brad Conway filed a Motion to Stay the release of George Anthony’s suicide letter.  In the motion, Atty. Conway said a copy of George Anthony’s suicide notes were given to the police, who gave a copy to the SAO.  He also claims the suicide letter has no bearing on the criminal case against Casey Anthony.

WED, March 4, 2009 – News media released a copy of Casey Anthony’s response to the interrogatories.  John Morgan (ZFG’s Atty.) submitted 17 different topics, some with multiple related questions, for Casey to answer as part of her deposition in the ZFG civil case – Defamation.

Of the 29 total questions, Casey invokes her 5^th Amendment Right* on all of the questions except her name. Casey signed the interrogatory doc on 2/25/09.

A court hearing is scheduled for 5/19/09 when Casey’s Attorney, Jonathan Kasen will attempt to get the lawsuit dismissed.

FRI, March 6, 2009 – ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) reports the following:

• Casey Anthony may need to answer questions in a civil lawsuit deposition and a deputy who responded to a 911 call made by the meter reader who eventually found Caylee Anthony’s remains will be questioned by the state attorney’s office.
•  Deputy Richard Cain, who responded to Orange County meter reader Roy K.’s 911 phone calls regarding a bag found in the woods in August, will be deposed by the SAO on 3/13/09.
•  Zenaida Gonzalez’s atty. filed a motion with the court asking that Casey Anthony be required to answer their questions. In an earlier deposition, Morgan and Morgan attys. prepared written questions but Casey only answered one: her name. A hearing has been set for 3/18/09.
•  An affidavit concerning DNA reports and procedures was also filed by Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky, A forensic scientist consultant to the Defense Team.

TUE, March 10, 2009 – In response to the Prosecution’s motion to find out where the money is coming from to pay the Defense Dream Team, Atty. Baez files a motion to strike the Prosecution’s request to determine potential conflict of interest.  OBJECTION AND MOTION TO STRIKE 

Casey signed a Sworn Affidavit stating she had a Retention Agreement for legal services with Atty. Jose Baez and it did not include any arrangement to sell her story. On the affidavit Casey hand wrote an additional point #7 which reads, “I believe Mr. Ashton is angry because I have refused to take a plea agreement for a crime I did not commit.”

WED, March 11, 2009 – Attys. for ZFG filed a motion in court to force Lee Anthony to answer questions in a civil case against Casey.  Lee Anthony, under the advice of Atty. Luka, refused to answer the question regarding his knowledge of who Caylee’s father is and the one about his belief regarding Casey’s involvement in Caylee’s disappearance.

Atty. Baez stated that he has viewed the video tape showing Casey Anthony in jail when she found out a child’s remains were found near the Anthony home on 12/11/08. According to a source who has also seen the tape, it shows Baez sitting with Casey and he appears to be crying while she appears to be angry. Baez said that is not true.

THU, March 12, 2009  – COURT HEARING:  Motions presented by the Defense Attys. José Baez and Linda Baden-Kenny regarding evidence and proposed sanctions were heard by Circuit Court Judge Strickland.

• The defense requested that state and LE release all DNA notes, reports and details about the standards used to collect evidence. NO RULING – Judge Strickland said he has no jurisdiction over the FBI outside of FL and he advised the defense to make this request of the FBI.
•  The defense requested the court impose sanctions on the state for not telling a defense expert that trash and other items were removed from Casey’s car. DENIED
•  The defense requested notes about how the search for the pic of interest – “Win her over with Chloroform” was performed on Ricardo M.’s computer; observations about any file deletions, etc.  The judge said IF there were notes taken, they should be turned over to the defense.

Atty. Brad Conway’s motion to keep George Anthony’s suicide notes a secret. That motion was put on hold pending objections that may be brought about by the media.

FRI, March 13, 2009– Deputy Richard Cain, OCSO was deposed by Casey Anthony’s defense team about his search at the Suburban Drive scene where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found.

Deputy Cain met meter reader Roy K. at the scene on 8/13/08 at 3:30 p.m.; however he reported finding trash only.  The internal investigation into this matter continues.

Atty. Mark Todd Macaluso is in some trouble with the CA State Bar Association.  He is accused of writing bad checks from one of his client’s accounts.  Atty. Macaluso joined the Baez’s Defense Team on 3/2/09 and signed a motion yesterday requesting to practice law in the state of FL.

OCSD personnel are being told, firmly, to STOP LEAKS TO THE MEDIA  Sheriff Jerry Demings issued an edict to the deputy sheriffs, investigators and supervisors. “If it’s active criminal information, don’t get caught leaking. If you get caught, it’s going to get treated seriously.”

Atty. José Baez has complained that the leaks are unfair and prejudicial to his defense.

SUN, March 15, 2009 – Today is SUNSHINE SUNDAY, the day designated by the Florida Society of News Editors to raise public awareness of the importance of open government in the state.

In the months since Anthony was arrested and eventually charged in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie, thousands of pages of legal documents detailing the sweeping criminal investigation have been released in response to records requests.

Orlando lawyer Bill Sheaffer, a legal analyst for WFTV-Channel9, said he has never seen a case where public records have been requested, and churned out, to the degree they have been with the Anthony case.

MON, March 16, 2009  – Thomas Luka, Atty. for Lee Anthony, objected to John Morgan & Keith Mitnik, Attys. for ZFG asking Lee if he knew the identity of Caylee Marie Anthony’s father and if he thought his sister, Casey could be responsible for Caylee’s disappearance.

During Lee’s deposition on 2/27/09, Luka advised Lee to not answer those two questions, stating that they were not relevant to the civil lawsuit.

Atty. Luka filed a motion today objecting to Atty. Morgan’s motion to compel Lee to answer these questions.  Judge José Rodriguez will hear arguments regarding this matter on May 21.

TUE, March 17, 2009  – A hearing on the ZFG civil case against Casey Anthony which was scheduled for tomorrow was canceled.

CNN’s Nancy Grace obtained DNA lab reports proving Lee Anthony is not Caylee Anthony’s biological father. The FBI Lab report was dated 12/16/08.

THU, March 19, 2009 – Today is Casey Marie Anthony’s 23rd Birthday.  George deposited a $100 money order into her account for purchases at the jail commissary.

Jose Baez did not visit with Casey. However, attorney José Garcia spent most of the day with her and attorney Gabriel Adams joined them for a few hours. They left the jail at 3:30 p.m.

Marti Mackenzie, Atty. Baez’s spokesperson said the defense took items with Casey Anthony’s permission to do their own DNA testing during the month of September. When they heard the FBI was interested in the items, they said they proactively turned them over in December [exact date??] [discovery doc p. 6608]

FRI, March 20, 2009 – More discovery docs were released by the news media to the public included more LE interview transcripts; evidence forms; text records; investigative reports, etc.

During her interview, Shirley P. said to the investigators, “I just wondered if she hated her mom more than she loved her Caylee.”

Casey used money that she had stolen from her grandmother, Shirley P. to buy the birthday cake and other party favors for Caylee’s 2 y/o birthday celebration in August 2007.

MON, March 23, 2009 – Leonard Padilla’s deposition has been rescheduled from 3/24/09 to sometime in May 2009.  P.I.’s Jim Hoover and Dominic Casey’s depositions are scheduled for 3/25/09.

TUE, March 24, 2009 – Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland will hear a motion from the state tomorrow to determine whether there is a conflict of interest regarding Casey’s financial arrangements to retain Atty. Baez. Prosecutors want to know if Baez has been selling the story of Casey and/or Caylee Anthony to raise money for Casey’s legal defense.

George solicited an interview with Holly Bristol, Reporter with Fox 35 to show what he described as “something special.” The Kid Finders Network raised about $30,000 in donations and purchased a search and rescue boat.  They named the boat – S.S. Caylee Marie.

WED, March 25, 2009  – COURT HEARING:  Judge Strickland heard the State’s motion regarding Casey having a potential conflict of interest in terms of funding her  legal defense. During a brief “in camera” session with Attys. & Casey, they discussed the intricacies of the attorney-client agreement.  Judge Stan Strickland ruled that there is no conflict. Although this meeting was not made available to the public, a court reporter transcribed what was discussed. [THIS TRANSCRIPT WAS SEALED]

A discussion – “side-bar” session that took place at the judge’s bench toward the end of the hearing was not transcribed.

P.I. Jim Hoover was deposed at the Morgan & Morgan Law Firm as scheduled, but P.I. Dominic Casey was not.  Instead, P.I. Casey opted to retain a criminal law atty. – J. Cheney Mason. The video-taped deposition of P.I. Hoover was filed with the clerk’s office and released to the media.

Atty. Jonathan Kasen (Casey’s atty. in the ZFG civil suit) filed a Protective Order as another means to keep Casey from having to answer questions from ZFG’s attys. about the identity of her mystery nanny.

MON, February 2, 2009 – A former FBI agent revealed to Eyewitness News that Todd Black of Press Corps Media and Atty. Baez’s spokesperson is really Gil Cabot, a man who’s spent time in prison for trying to extort money from a Los Angeles news anchor.

4:38 a.m. P.I. Dominic Casey sends e-mail to Cindy: “I found out tonight that Jessica Denofrio [Donofrio] is having an affair with one of the Detectives at OCSO. Have not found out which Detective it is yet but working on finding out.”

TUE, February 3, 2009 – Casey Anthony has refused to answer questions via an interrogatory.  If Casey does not comply with the court order to complete the interrogatory, Atty. Morgan said he will move to have her countersuit against ZFG dismissed.

George was released from Halifax Medical Center around 6:00 p.m. and returned to the Anthony home.

WED, February 4, 2009 – Atty. John Morgan (representing ZFG in civil suit against Casey Anthony) appeared on the Nancy Grace Show and said that Casey should verify a picture of Zenaida Gonzalez that was sent to her by Morgan.  He stated, “All she needs to do is say that’s not her!”

Atty. Brad Conway on behalf of G & C Anthony has confirmed the announced that the “funeral” for their granddaughter, Caylee Marie Anthony, will be held on Tuesday, 2/10/09 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Orlando, located at 3000 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL

FRI, February 6, 2009 – Casey Anthony’s Defense Atty. Jonathan Kasen who represents her in the ZFG civil suit case, has motioned the court to dismiss the defamation suit that Zenaida Gonzalez filed against his client.

Kasen claims that from the day the lawsuit was filed, both ZFG and her attys. at the Morgan and Morgan law firm, knew that their ZFG is not the same woman Casey Anthony told investigators stole her child.

SUN, February 8, 2009 – Cindy Anthony wrote the obituary for Caylee Marie Anthony.  She also prepared a 3-page “uninvited” list – names of people who could not invited attend the “public memorial service.” P.I. Dominic Casey compiled a “Characters of Interest” Chart. This list was used to facilitate screening people prior to entering the church service.

MON, February 9, 2009 – Atty. José Baez reads a statement allegedly written by Casey.  This statement made it clear that Casey did not want a public service nor did she want Caylee’s remains to be cremated. However, she acknowledges that G & C Anthony were going to do what they wanted and hoped it would help them.

TUE, February 10, 2009 – Two services were held. CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY’S Memorial Services.

1. A quasi-public Memorial Service with the Anthony family was held at First Baptist Church of Orlando. Video-taped recordings were shown on several Orlando area news media web-sties.
2. An impromptu Service held at the natural memorial site on Suburban DR near where Caylee’s remains were found. Richard G., Leonard Padilla and many others memorialized Caylee at this location.

WED, February 11, 2009 – Atty. Brad Conway made an announcement that Caylee’s remains had been cremated.

The start of Casey Anthony’s murder trial could be as long as a year away. There are many things, legally and in the investigation, that still need to be completed. It could take several months to complete findings.

THU, February 12, 2009 – George Anthony joined the family of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings to support them, Atty. Brad Conway, told ABC News.

[*Note: This duct tape is industrial strength fire-resistant tape marked as “Fire Guard DUCK”]  the tape found with the body and on the gas can was actually extremely rare – only 134,719 rolls were sold in 2006 and 2007 in North America. The duct tape was manufactured by Henkel Consumer Adhesives, of Avon, Ohio. Until it sold its duct tape division. Now known as ShurTech Brands.

FRI, February 20, 2009 – the tape of the actual interview of P.I. Dominic Casey was released. P.I. Casey has been under fire, because he visited the crime scene where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found a month prior to her remains being officially being taken into evidence. P.I. Casey gave detectives different reasons for why he went there.

Roy K.’s atty. David L. Evans sent a 2-page letter to Padilla demanding that Padilla stop making what he calls “irresponsible and malicious conduct” against his client.

Atty. Evans put Padilla on notice that he would pursue legal action if LP continued to publicly speculate and make false accusations about Roy K. being involved in some sort of “daisy-chain” type communication regarding the location of Caylee Anthony’s remains.

WED, February 25, 2009 – Judge José R. Rodriguez presided over the hearing regarding a motion by Atty. Brad Conway to disallow the video-taped depositions for C & G Anthony in the presence of the media.  These depositions were last scheduled to be held on 2/26/09.

Atty. Conway stated that C & G were under doctor’s care as they grieve for their granddaughter Caylee, yet he was not prepared to present medical information to the court as proof. Conway stated they [C & G Anthony] are not emotionally able to handle testifying in the defamation lawsuit against their daughter Casey.

Atty. Mitnik argued on behalf of ZFG that she has a right to clear her name, she was sucked into the case through no actions of her own and the Anthonys have actually perpetuated the accusations that have ruined her reputation, such as a statement Cindy made in July about Casey forgiving Zenaida for taking off with Caylee.

Judge Rodriguez postponed the depositions for C & G Anthony for 20 days…Atty. Conway will need to submit medical evidence regarding doctor’s care and Atty. Mitnik will need to submit legal evidence supporting the right of the media being present at a deposition for this type of civil suit.

THU, February 26, 2009 – Baez submitted a Motion to Stay the Release of the jail video footage of Casey’s reaction to the news about a human skull finding on Suburban Drive near the Anthony home on 12/11/08.

10:02 p.m. Michele M. clarified her statement about Lee contacting her via MySpace on 7/3/2008. She wrote an e-mail message to Detective Yuri Melich saying Lee DID NOT contact her. However, she was contacted by Brian L.  She also noted the comment Casey posted on Jonathan Lorentz’s FB about going to the Dragon Room has been DELETED. Jonathan deleted his entire wall on FB from 12/2/08 and preceding dates.

FRI, February 27, 2009 – Atty. John Morgan and Co-counsel Keith Mitnik conducted a 3 ½ hr. video-taped deposition of Lee Anthony for the ZFG civil suit against Casey Anthony.

Lee believes the reason Casey used the 6/9/08 date as the last time she saw Caylee was because she heard Cindy say it about 50 times on the night of 7/15/08 before LE arrived. Although Lee said he had never heard the name Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez before he made it very clear that the person filing the law suit was not the same Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez that Casey described to him.

Lee contradicted previous statements that he’s made when he testified under oath Friday. In the past, Lee Anthony told Orange County investigators and Casey’s friends that she is a liar and that she’s stolen money from him and other relatives. Under oath for this deposition, Lee tells Atty. John Morgan, “To this day I believe everything my sister tells me.”

A subpoena requesting deposition of P.I. Dominic Casey for ZFG civil suit was returned.

THU, January 1, 2009 – NEW YEAR’S DAY! Over the weekend, another search warrant was executed and investigators came back for Casey Anthony’s belongings. They took more of Caylee’s clothes, five to eight pairs of Casey’s shoes and her clothes as well.

Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) took evidentiary items, including but not limited to, soil samples; two pairs of sunglasses and a pink-zippered bag from the Anthony home.

Atty. José Baez sent his own team to the collect soil from the Anthony home for their forensic experts, as well.

FRI, January 2, 2009 – A videotape of the crime scene off Suburban Drive, shot by P.I. Jim Hoover on 11/15/08, reportedly shows P.I. Dominic Casey talking on his cell phone. That mystery caller could be a big clue that connects Casey Anthony to the crime scene.  P.I. Hoover is planning a newser on Monday, 1/5/09.

Dominic Casey told WFTV he was talking to his ill daughter on the phone that day and insists he was only there to rule out a tip from one of Casey’s friends – Kiomarie Torres Cruz.

Objection to the State’s request for an order staying the order for disposing of the Defense emergency motion to compel photographs and X-rays taken of remains.

WED, January 7, 2009 –  Pre-trial Court Hearing for Casey Anthony’s 1^st Degree Murder case. The Prosecution argued that Casey had not formally waived her right attend today’s hearing; therefore Judge Strickland had her hauled out of the OC Jail and brought to the courtroom. Her attendance is mandatory. Judge Strickland explained to Casey, from now on, if she wants to waive her right to attend she must put it in writing and it will be under the court’s discretion.

The Defense wants the pictures of the remains, which were discovered last December, but Prosecutors are concerned the photos could be sold to media outlets for financial gain.

Prosecutors are refusing to hand over the autopsy photos and x-rays of Caylee Anthony’s remains until a judge imposes more restrictions. They are requesting the judge to issue an order stating that no copies of the pictures can be made or mailed and that they are only to be used by the defense.

The judge made several rulings:

• Prosecutors have 20 days to make the strand of hair (death band – showing signs of decomposition) found in Casey’s car available for the defense to inspect.
• The Prosecution will provide the forensics report on Casey’s car to the Defense within 30 days.
• The Defense will receive unedited copies of Roy K.’s 911 phone call within 20 days.
• NO COPIES of any type or replication will be made of the autopsy photos.

[Note: Atty. Baez agreed to set up a secure website on which his team of experts will view the autopsy photos]

P.I. Dominic Casey was interviewed by Sgt. John Allen in Atty. Brad Conway’s office. Atty. Conway and Special Agent Nick Savage, FBI were also present during the interview.

Eyewitness News obtained a copy of a videotaped recording of P.I. Dominic Casey on 11/15/08 in areas where he possibly believed he would find Caylee’s remains.

G & C Anthony’s Atty., Brad Conway meets with prosecutors at the SAO and investigators for about 1 hour.  Conway also told Eyewitness News that he’s been trying to get immunity for G & C Anthony.

Annie D.was directed to appear via a State Attorney Investigative Subpoena. She appeared with her lawyer, Warren Lindsey, Esq. for an interview with LE (Detectives Yuri Melich, Eric Edwards of OCSO) in the presence of Linda Drane Burdick, ASA.

Annie D. and Casey were best friends during the period between December 2006 – October 2007 (approx. timeframe). She moved out of Sawgrass apartments in March 2007.  Annie described Casey as more of a “home body;” they typically went shopping together and she was usually the designated driver on the few occasions (maybe once a month) that she joined friends at parties.  However, Casey did get drunk celebrating her 21^st birthday.

LE asked Annie about Casey’s text message referring to hitting her friend Annie up for some Xanax….. Although Annie D. did have a prescription for Xanax (Alprazolam) while she was a junior in college, she denied giving any to Casey. Note: Point of interest here, it was the Baez Defense Team who reqested the release of the jail visitation of 8/14/08.

THU, January 8, 2009 – There are two hearings scheduled today at the Orange County courthouse:

• 11:00 a.m. – The Civil Case against Casey Anthony vs. ZFG
•   1:30 p.m. – The Criminal Case against Casey Anthony vs. the State of FL

Atty. Keith Mitnik of Morgan & Morgan appeared in court before Judge José Rodriguez to present arguments for deposing Casey Anthony in the open CIVIL SUIT filed on behalf of ZFG.

Casey’s Atty. José Garcia presented arguments against a video-taped deposition of Casey prior to the criminal case because he believes anything she says will be held against her in the criminal proceedings and taint the jury pool, therefore hurting her right to a fair murder trial.

“The court will not allow the deposition to take place as it has been indicated at this time,” Judge José Rodriguez said in court.  However, the judge ruled that ZFG’s lawyers can submit a written interrogatory to Casey.

Atty. John Morgan is also working on scheduling depositions for Casey’s parents and brother, Lee Anthony.

Judge Stan Strickland forces Casey to appear in court. Casey was brought into the courtroom in shackles around 2:55 p.m.; approx. 1 ½ hrs. into the hearing. The state argues she has to attend all her pre-trial hearings. Since Casey did not submit a written waiver of her right to attend Thursday’s hearing, Judge Strickland explained to her, from now on, if she wants to waive her right to attend she must put it in writing and it will be under the court’s discretion.

Judge Strickland rules Jose Baez can set up a secure database for images of Caylee’s remains. Baez was told the photos cannot leave his office until he can prove that he has a secure Web site. He cannot make copies of the photos.

TUE, January 13, 2009– Roy K. did an exclusive TV interview with Good Morning America, saying he first saw a suspicious bag in August 2008 in the area where he eventually found Caylee’s remains in December 2008. Roy K. claimed the responding OCSO Deputy did not want to investigate further, because the area was under water and infested with snakes.

WED, January 14, 2009– Roy K., meter reader who found Caylee’s remains, said the deputy who first responded to his call on August 13^th was rude to him and didn’t look thoroughly. OCSO Deputy Richard Cain is under investigation for the way he handled the call.

Dominic Casey was on a cell phone while he poked and prodded the ground and initially told Eyewitness News that he was on the phone with his ill daughter. P.I. Casey has since changed his story and now says that he was on the phone with Virginia psychic Ginnette Lucas.

Ginnette Lucas said she was the one directing P.I. Dominic Casey, on the cell phone on 11/15/08, but P.I. Jim Hoover said P.I.Casey never mentioned a psychic and was secretive about his numerous phone calls.  Additionally, Ms. Lucas claims she can not obtain her phone records from Verizon in order to show proof of the alleged phone calls to P.I. Casey.

THU, January 15, 2009 – the OC Corrections Center released a “LOST” video of Casey’s 8/14/08 jail house visit with her parents. At this time, C & G Anthony were still searching for an “alive” Caylee and they wanted answers from Casey.

Meter Reader, Roy K. (found Caylee Marie Anthony on 12/11/08) was presented with a $5,000 Reward check from Atty. Mark.

Tim Miller from Texas EquuSearch has hired Atty. Mark Nejame to represent him.  Miller wants to prevent the defense from getting all the records relating to the tips that EquuSearch received.

SAT, January 17, 2009 – Atty. Brad Conway appeared on Geraldo at Large Show.

GERALDO:  Do you have reason to believe that between August and December (those 4 months) this man – Roy Kronk revisited that crime scene in a way that has not been reported?

CONWAY:  We have very good source that says that Mr. Kronk was there between August 13^th and December 11^th when he discovered the remains.

GERALDO:  Do you think there’s more funky information to come out about him [Kronk]?

CONWAY:  I’m sure that there is, I know there is.

THU, January 19, 2009 – Atty. José Baez has repeatedly avoided all questions about who is paying for his services.

WED, January 21, 2009 – Discovery documents released detailing items detectives found at the crime scene where Caylee Anthony’s body was dumped.

Caylee Anthony’s mouth was duct taped. Adhesive residue from a heart-shaped sticker was found on the silver-colored duct tape that covered her mouth. The sticker appeared to have been “intentionally” placed on the duct tape, Melich wrote. The duct tape was attached to her skull and it held her mandible in place.  The adhesive residue impression left on the duct tape from the sticker indicated it was intentionally placed there while the tape was over Caylee’s mouth.   [Discovery doc p. 3168]

[Note: It was later reported that the adhesive residue impression left on the duct tape from the heart-shaped sticker was destroyed during a FBI testing process.]

Caylee’s remains were found on 12/11/08 stuffed into a cloth laundry hamper bag and then in a black trash bag with yellow ties. A t-shirt (size 3T) and white shorts with verticle pink, green & orange stripes (size 24 mos.) and a  Winnie-the-Pooh blanket were found with the remains .  Also found near the remains were a small toy horse, heart-shaped ♥ sticker and small cloth-type letters that appeared to be iron-ons.

Reports complied by OCSO of evidence that was collected from the search warrant of 12/11/08 for the Anthony residence and submitted same to FBI for examination. THU, January 22, 2009 – George Anthony went missing in the morning and had not been seen all day.  According to officials, G & C Anthony had a scheduled meeting with Atty. Brad Conway at approx. 4:40 p.m., but George was a no show.  Atty. Conway called 911 and filed a Missing Person’s Report.

 FRI, January 23, 2009 – Judge Stan Strickland has ordered Casey Anthony to attend all future court proceedings.

The Florida Bar Association has confirmed it has two open investigations regarding Atty. José A. Baez and his PR firm, Press Corp Media – managed by Todd Black.  Mr. Black has released questionable statements to the media about State Atty. Lawson Lamar and prosecutors.

The second investigation deals with Atty. Baez possibly violating advertising rules, where he claimed to have more credentials and experience than he really did.

The two complaints are in addition to an informal complaint made to the SAO in reference to allegations that Atty. Baez may be using entertainment deals to fund his defense team.

Atty. José Baez has been hired by FAMU law school to teach upper-level classes on how to get ready for trial.  As an instructor Atty. Baez will earn $4,500 per semester at FAMU.

Daytona Beach (Volusia County) Police Chief Mike Chitwood says George Anthony sent “disturbing” text messages to family alluding to a desire to end his life. He also wrote a 6 – 8 page suicide letter.  George was found at the Hawaii Motel. He was Baker Acted and admitted to Halifax Medical Center.

MON, January 26, 2009 – The Prosecution Team released an updated witness list in the case against Casey Anthony. The list contains approx. 140 potential witnesses.

A Florida Bar investigation of a complaint against Atty. José Baez was dismissed.

Atty. José Baez filed a motion to obtain documents on Ricardo M.’s MySpace page. One had a picture with the phrase, “Winning women over with chloroform.”

Showbiz Promotions plans to sell its Caylee Sunshine singing doll, which is named for Caylee Anthony, for $29.99.  Jaime Salcedo, the president of the company appeared on the NG Show and indicated that an UNDEFINED portion of the proceeds would be donated to UNDEFINED charities for missing children.

TUE, January 27, 2009 – Atty. José Baez filed an objection requesting the court to allow Casey to skip future court hearings with an attachment – a “Waiver of Defendant’s Appearance” signed by Casey Anthony on 1/26/09.  Judge Stan Strickland DECLINED to grant it. He cited the possibility of “future problems.”

NY Atty. Linda Kenney Baden, member of the Casey Anthony Defense Team signed the motion, which alleges improprieties and media leaks and asks for a “recusal of the Orange County Prosecutor’s Office.”

Atty. Brad Conway attempts to negotiate a private service for Caylee that includes a jailhouse family reunion with Casey .  The OC Corrections Center will not honor this request because it is against jail policy.

Public OUTCRY influenced the Showbiz Promotions Company’s suspension of the sale of the Caylee Sunshine Doll. An unidentified Artist has created Casey Anthony Voodoo Dolls (3 versions) and posted them on Ebay for sale.

WED, January 28, 2009 – Atty. Baez’s Defense Team filed motion requesting information, including but not limited to, all fingerprint-related evidence, any DNA reports that show Jesse G.  was not Caylee’s father, and materials regarding the decomposing hair found in Casey’s trunk.

The Orange County Corrections Dept. filed a motion seeking clarification from the court on whether or not Casey has to attend all hearings and how the jail should handle it regarding notification and transportation.

Atty. José Baez teaches his 1st class at FAMU Law School in downtown Orlando. He will teach a pre-trial practice workshop once a week.

THU, January 29, 2009 – Judge Stan Strickland overruled a motion filed by Atty. José Baez to keep Casey out of court. The judge’s ruling means Casey will have to appear at a pretrial hearing on 1/30/09 at 8:30 a.m. and for every major hearing in her 1^st DEGREE MURDER CASE.

Atty. Mark NeJame filed a motion to the court to dismiss a request to have Texas EquuSearch volunteers appear as defense witnesses.

Atty. Baez’s spokesperson to the Orlando Sentinel, there is no Todd Black, but he would not say what his real name is.  Eyewitness News questioned Black’s identity in August 2008, when no information could be found about his PR firm, Press Corp Media, his former clients or colleagues.

FRI, January 30, 2009 – Court Hearing. The OC Corrections officers had Casey at the courthouse at 8:00 a.m.  The hearing commenced at 8:35 a.m.   Brief description of Motions and Rulings:

1. Defense’s motion to gain access to the scene where Caylee’s remains were found.  GRANTED
2. Defense’s motion to seek more information from TES searches. DENIED [Order Denying Defendant’s Amended Application  For Subpoeona Duce Tecum Regarding Equusearch]
3. Prosecution Team motion regarding the Defense Witness List was determined to be moot due to an amended witness list that was provided after the state had already filed their motion. DISMISSED
4. Defense’s emergency motion to have Prosecutors recuse themselves from the case.  DENIED

The final matter of business Judge Stan Strickland dealt with during the 35 minute hearing was regarding a trial date. No trial date was set, but the judge stated a status hearing may be set for the end of February or early March 2009.

After the court hearing, Atty. Mark Nejame spoke to the media.  He commented that there is no conflict of interest with him representing Tim Miller of TES now and the fact that he use to work for G & C Anthony because the goal for all was to Caylee. He also stated that  none of the 4,000TES searchers were at the exact spot where Caylee’s remains were found. 

People’s Magazine features a cover story titled “Caylee’s Family Secrets.”  The article, written by Steve Helling, Bill Hewitt and Amy Green, delves into family issues – alleged marital issues between G & C Anthony, which go back several years. The article also discusses the strained relationship between Casey and her parents.

First Baptist Church of Orlando announced it will host a memorial service for CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY. This Public Memorial Service will be held in the main Worship Center located at 3000 S. John Young PKWY, Orlando, FL. The service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 starting at 10:00 a.m.

Zenaida Gonzalez’s Attys, John Morgan and Keith Mitnik issued a Notice of Service of Interrogatories to Casey Anthony. Casey has 30 days to respond to this written deposition.

G & C Anthony’s depositions in the ZFG civil suit against Casey Anthony are scheduled for 2/26/09 and Lee’s deposition is scheduled for 2/27/09.

MON, December 1, 2008 – Cindy claims someone entered the Anthony home during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and hacked her e-mail account.  However, this incident was not reported to the police.

TUE, December 2, 2008 – LE interview with Sean Krause.  Sean had been communicating with Cindy Anthony for a few months.  Initially, he was supportive and extended offers to help. Prior to going into the hospital to receive cancer treatments, his opinion changed.  Sean started writing a series of articles entitled “Father Krause: Cindy Anthony’s Confessions.”  

During a conversation with Cindy on 11/10/08, Sean told Cindy he strongly believed that Casey murdered Caylee. Cindy became silent.  Sean said this was the first time Cindy agreed that her daughter actually did something to Caylee. Sean also told Cindy that Casey fit the “sociopathic” profile. Cindy allegedly agreed with him. He viewed her silence as “agreement” especially in the absence of a rebuttal from Cindy.

THU, December 4, 2008 – Seven DVDs were released containing videos of the visits George, Cindy and Lee Anthony had with Casey at the OC Jail beginning in July 2008.

FRI, December 5, 2008 – The SAO announced the State will not seek the Death Penalty in the Casey Anthony homicide case.

SAT, December 6, 2008 – Atty. Terence M. Lenamon writes to Casey Anthony to notify her of his withdrawal from her case #08-CF0015606-0 because the State of FL has announced they will not pursue the Death Penalty as a potential sentence.  Attached to the letter was a copy of the Notice.  These documents were mailed to Casey Anthony at the Orange County Jail.

MON, December 8, 2008 – The Anthonys announced there will be no more Caylee vigils for this year. Due to programs planned by the church for the holiday season, Anthony vigils will be postponed until 2009.

2:00 p.m. In the Forensic garage, a test was performed on the 1998 WHT Pontiac Sunfire to check the functionality of the gasoline gauge.  Conclusion:  The gasoline gauge was working properly.

TUE, December 9, 2008 – Over a month ago (i.e. 11/6/08) Baez said, “We all believe she’s alive and if these tips, if there’s one credible tip in that 5,000, it’s worth us going through them.” He’s received repeated reminders that the tips were ready for him to pick up. Yet he has not done so because the State will charge him $980 (50 hrs. of time plus cost of materials to compile this data).

Leonard Padilla (guest on the Nancy Grace Show) continues to speculate on Defense strategy and where Caylee’s body may be. Here is what he said:

Well, you know, even when we were back there, and now that everything has been released, there’s not much of her story for a 30-day period there that the public doesn’t know and understand.

And Jose is obviously banking on the situation that if you can put a reasonable doubt before a jury, and get them to not believe, at least with one jury member, and that’s what he’s playing for, that’s what Cindy and George are doing right now. They`re crisscrossing the country in order to get reasonable doubt, and maybe, just maybe he can — he’s got rid of the murder case on the first degree, now he`s trying to get maybe accidental death, or reckless death or something to that effect.

But everybody knows when she died and — the 30 days is not a secret anymore. And don’t be surprised — don’t be surprised if Orange County or the FBI don`t drop it on us here that they’ve got the body somewhere. 

WED, December 10, 2008 – Atty. José Baez wants to investigate detectives from the OCSO. Baez sent someone to the sheriff’s office to get information from the personnel files of Detectives John Allen and Yuri Melich.

Atty. Baez motioned the court to subpoena the surveillance tapes from the Florida Mall that were recorded on 11/16/08 between the hours of 2:00pm to 5:00pm. The Mall management has refused to release the video and the court has yet to rule on this matter.

G & C Anthony were quest on the CNN’s Larry King Show. They touted their belief that Caylee is still alive and chose to stick to the odor in the trunk of the car resulted from “rotting pizza” story.

The grandparents also said they plan to follow up on Caylee sighting tips from CA & TN because they still believe “Caylee is alive.”

THU, December 11, 2008 – Judge Strickland set another pre-trial status hearing tentatively for January 15 at 9:00am, but did not specify when in March the trial would start.

Atty. José Baez made a request to WAIVE CASEY ANTHONY’S RIGHT TO SPEEDY TRIAL for the criminal case. Judge Strickland ACCEPTED. This request was expected because Atty. Baez had said earlier in the week he was in the process of researching locations to consider for a change of venue.  Casey was not in attendance at this pre-trial hearing.

The matter of the Grand Theft charge was not discussed. Judge Strickland’s ruling on 11/5/08 granting a continuance – Waiver of Right to a Speedy Trial for Casey Anthony on the Grand Theft Charge remains in effect.

9:30 a.m. An Orange County water utility meter reader, Roy K. found the skeletal remains of a child in a wooded area while taking a restroom break near S. Chickasaw Trail and Suburban Drive. The skeletal remains of what appears to be a small child are found less than 1/4 mile from the Anthony home.

Pending ME findings, DNA testing and analyses of other trace evidence, it is highly believed that the remains are those of Caylee Marie Anthony.  Duct tape and other items were also found in the bag.

Detectives have told Atty. José  Baez that the body size and hair color of the remains recovered are similar to Caylee’s and the discovery of the child’s skull with duct tape on the mouth is telling a much more gruesome story.

11:00 – 11:30 a.m. Upon entering Casey’s cell, Lt. Tammy Unser noticed she had been listening to a news broadcast, on her radio, about a child’s remains being found. Lt. Unser placed Casey in restraints prior to escorting her to the jail medical clinic.  Casey was able to hear more details of the find from the TV. She appeared to hyperventilate, looked panic stricken, started to cry  and requested a sedative.

11:55 a.m. – 1:33 p.m. Atty. José Baez met with Casey at the OC Jail.  Baez informed her of what he had learned from the prosecution – news of a small child’s remains with similar characteristics of Caylee found near the Anthony home in the 8900 block of Suburban Drive.

Casey met with a correction officer psychologist and was reviewed and placed on psychological observation (that is not a suicide watch).

G & C Anthony returned home from CA.  They were greeted at the airport by LE/FBI and escorted out the back exit, then taken to a hotel.  They were served with a search warrant for the Anthony home. The home was cordoned off as a crime scene. Investigators collected evidence at the Anthony home well into the early morning hours of Friday. After CSI completed their work at the Anthony home, G & C were allowed to enter.

G & C Anthony stayed in the home for about 1 hr. then went to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando at Grande Lakes for a luxurious 3-day get-a-way.  The Disney-owned ABC network paid the bill.

Experts Discuss Discovery Of Remains

Piptone:  “What does it do to the state’s case now that there’s a body?”

Rahter:  “Oh, it hugely bolsters the case. A jury is always a little reluctant to convict because they don’t want to convict an innocent person. Absolutely you would not want to do that. So now, there’s going to be no doubt that she’s dead.”

Mason:  “Then all the talking, all the press interviews and the parents going on this show and that show and the lawyer going on different shows establishes they have no credibility whatsoever.”

“The most important thing is how did she die? It could have been an accidental death — and we’ve talked before — an improper disposal, it could have been a brutal homicide. We don’t know, and until the medical examiner is finished and renders a report, no one is going to know.”

Rahter:  “An accidental death would be hard to believe. What would a reasonable person do in the case of an accident? Call 911 or call your parents or call a close friend. Do you go borrow a shovel from a neighbor, probably not?”

Mason:  “You can pretty well predict there’s going to be a life sentence, either a plea and get it over with or have a circus trial and then be convicted and get life.”

SAT, December 13, 2008 – A larger FBI team returned Saturday to the scene where the remains of a small child were found near Caylee Marie Anthony’s home. The team will help the OCSO  team process the crime scene and the area around it.

Lee Anthony showed up at his parent’s home in the afternoon. When he ripped up a makeshift memorial made of flowers, teddy bears, and pictures.

SUN, December 14, 2008 – After spending a couple of hours with G & C Anthony, their new  Atty. Brad Conway left saying he has a lot of work to do to make sure prosecutors and the public know his clients have done nothing wrong.

G & C Anthony attended church.  Brad Conway said that the Anthony’s will NOT make any comments.

Michelle Bart announced she will no longer be the Anthony’s spokesperson.  Bart made the announcement at the Eastside Baptist Church.

MON, December 15, 2008 – Bounty Hunter, Leonard Padilla offered a $50,000 reward for Caylee’s body, but pulled the money when people complained searchers were tearing up their yards looking for remains. “I don’t want to get sued,” Padilla said. However, he does think the meter reader deserves some kind of reward and he plans to write him a check if the remains belong to Caylee.

Atty. Brad Conway said he didn’t know about plans to prosecute G & C Anthony on charges related to the case against Casey Anthony.  However, he is working on seeking immunity for them to make sure charges aren’t filed later.

Over the weekend, G & C Anthony along with their son Lee Anthony, were fingerprinted so investigators will have them on hand as they search for fingerprints on evidence they’ve collected at the scene.

TUE, December 16, 2008 – FBI Report of Examination letter included the following statement: “Based on the STR typing results, the DNA obtained from specimen Q18-1 (CAYLEE ANTHONY) could not have originated from a biological offspring of the individual represented by specimen K9 (LEE ANTHONY).” [discovery doc p. 3788]

Leonard Padilla has a conversation with Jim Hoover, P.I.  about Hoover having a video of Dominic Casey at the Suburban DR crime scene in the a.m. of November 15, 2008. LP said he advised P.I. Hoover to call FBI’s Nick Savage and then he called Agent Savage himself immediately.

Casey Anthony’s defense team lost another round of legal battles when Judge Strickland rejected its request. [MOTIONS DENIED]

• To quickly examine material gathered from a scene where a child’s remains were found last week.
• The lawyers also requested a second autopsy be performed on the remains.

Pastor Thomas Stutzman of the Eastside Baptist Church visited Casey at the OC Jail for the second time. He is the only pastor that is permitted to visit and he may visit once a month.

4:22 p.m. George Anthony texted River Cruz (his alleged Mistress): “Just thinking about you! I need you in my life.”

FRI, December 19, 2008 – OC deputies said “significant skeletal remains” were found. A late media briefing from the OCSO revealed new details in the search for more evidence after a child’s remains were found less than a 1/4 mile from the Anthony home.

1:45 p.m. Casey was notified that the remains were Caylee Marie Anthony by the jail Chaplin.  Pastor Stutzman attempted to visit with Casey, but she refused to see him.  Her Atty. José Baez was with her.  Baez accused OCSO of handling this announcement in an unprofessional manner.

2:00 p.m. during a presser, Dr. Jan Garavaglia makes the announcement that the remains found near the Anthony home were those of Caylee Marie Anthony.  She further states, “the manner of death in this case is homicide…. the cause of death will be listed as HOMICIDE BY UNDETERMINED MEANS.” VIDEO

Atty. John Morgan voluntarily asked the court to delay the scheduled deposition (12/22/08) for G & C Anthony in light of the discovery of Caylee’s remains.

Jonathan Kasen (Casey Anthony’s atty.) is requesting that the ZFG civil suit be delayed until after the criminal trial.

SAT, December 20, 2008 – Deputies released the crime scene, and the public had access to the site. Casey Anthony’s defense team was notified before the scene was released, but members of the team notified deputies they would not inspect the site.  OCSO Deputy stated, “After reviewing the crime-scene site, our investigators saw fit to obtain an additional search warrant for the Anthony residence to obtain additional items of evidence.”

Four CSI vans yet again cordon off the Anthony home as a crime scene.  With a search warrant signed by Judge Perry, detectives confiscated more of Caylee’s clothes, five to eight pairs of Casey shoes and her clothes; and took two pairs of sunglasses and a pink-zippered bag. C & G Anthony were at home while the warrant was being executed.

1. While standing in the living room reading the search warrant, Cindy made the statement, “one of Caylee’s Winnie-the-Pooh Blankets was missing.”
2. Cindy also stated she “had people walk that area,” meaning where the body was discovered, “a month ago and there was nothing in the area then.”

MON, December 22, 2008 – G & C Anthony’s Atty. Brad Conway said funeral services will be held for Caylee after a second autopsy is performed on her remains.

Atty. José Baez set up a tipline to Casey.  The recorded message sounds like it is the voice of Todd Black (the Defense Team spokes person).

The message: “You’ve reached the Casey Anthony tip line. We’re particularly interested in the area where the remains were found. If your tip is deemed to be credible you will be contacted immediately. Should you want to email any documentation or photos you may do so at: “caseytipline@yahoo.com”

TUE, December 23, 2008 – OC officials say Casey Anthony will not be allowed to attend Caylee’s funeral due to the fact that she faces a first-degree murder charge.

Judge Stan Strickland told the state to release photographs, x-rays and other documentation related to Caylee Anthony’s remains to Atty. José Baez. The order followed an emergency request filed by José Baez’s law firm.  The judge gave the state 14 days to release the items or they have until January 5, 2009 to appeal.

Dr. David W. Hall, an expert Botanist examined the crime scene on Suburban Drive, as well as pictures of the plastic bag that held Caylee’s remains. Dr. Hall stated that the growth in the area and tiny roots found on the plastic bag suggest the skeletal remains of Caylee Marie Anthony had been there two to six months before they were discovered on 12/11/08. Dr.  Hall reported,  “…. I examined six medical Examiner, case 2008-001567, photographs (photos 293, 294, 300, 302, 303, 308) showing roots on and through bones. The smaller of these roots indicate approximately two to three months since the bones were decomposed to the point that roots could grow on and through them. The largest of the roots (approx. 2.0mm in diameter), in my estimation, could indicate a minimum period of approximately four months.”

SAT, December 27, 2008 – Caylee’s remains have been turned over to the Robert Bryant Funeral & Cremation Chapel.

MON, December 29, 2008 – P.I. Dominic Casey said he went to the area in mid-November and Mr. Hoover videotaped the area where Caylee’s remains where later found.  He says the tape shows Caylee’s body was not there at that time, but now investigators want to know why he was there with a camera.

Prior to working for the G & C Anthony, P.I. Dominic Casey worked for Atty. José Baez on the Casey Anthony case.

Atty. José Baez filed a new motion.  According to the motion filed by Atty. José Baez, LE is “showing an interest” in questioning P.I. Dominic Casey of D&A Investigations. The motion states, “there is a chance that such questioning would delve into privileged information.”

Baez said he hired P.I. Casey as an investigator 7/28/08 and the service agreement between the two was terminated 10/1/08. During that time, P.I. Casey “acquired certain privileged information that would be protected . . .” Atty. Baez asserts. He requested the judge appoint a “special master” to oversee any questioning of P.I. Casey by LE.

Atty. Thomas Luka appeared on the Nancy Grace Show.  He commented on the possibility that OCSO may charge his client, Lee Anthony with obstructing justice. No charges are pending as of yet, but Luka said Florida’s broad laws about tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice are what concerned him the most.

WED, December 31, 2008 – NEW YEAR’S EVE!  Atty. Brad Conway wants his clients, G & C Anthony to have immunity before they speak with prosecutors again about their daughter,  Casey Anthony. Immunity would ensure the couple could tell investigators everything they know without fear of prosecution, attorney Brad Conway said.  He doesn’t think the Anthonys would say something that would land them in legal trouble, but sill would prefer they have protection.

Investigators are waiting until after Caylee’s funeral before they approach the Anthonys again, Conway said.

Lee moved out of the house on Eaglefeather DR and he moved back into the Anthony home.

Motion to Compel Tips Gathered By Law Enforcement (2^nd filing) – The Defense states they received one  CD containing approx. 450 tips (psychic in nature) from the Prosecution on 10/27/08. To date there have been approx. 5,000 tips of Caylee Marie Anthony sightings reported to LE.

WED, November 5, 2008 – Pre-trial Hearing:  Atty. Baez’s motioned the court for a continuance (Waiver of Right to a Speedy Trial) on the Grand Theft Charge. Judge Strickland GRANTED it for now. The Prosecution argued that the Grand Theft case was a “relatively simple case” and should not be held in abeyance until after the criminal trial. Atty. Baez’s argument of “judicial economy” would be taken under advisement and decide next month.  No ruling, at this time, on delaying the check fraud charges until after the 1^st degree murder charge.

“We all believe she’s alive,” Atty. José Baez said during a hearing at the OC Courthouse. However, Behind the scenes, the Defense Team sent 30 pages of documents to prosecutors. In those documents, Casey Anthony’s lawyers argued that if Caylee is dead that it was “almost certainly a tragic accident.”

The documents also said Caylee Marie Anthony could’ve been poisoned by chloroform or she could have died while she was sedated. They said the cause of death could have been an unwitting overdose of a sedative.  VIDEO

FRI, November 7, 2008 – TES organizers are expecting up to possibly 5,000 volunteers, including expert searchers, marines and pilots, to help with the search for Caylee this weekend. The primary targeted areas for the search are as follows :

1. Moss Park
2. Jay Blanchard Park
3. Woods [Suburban DR] near the Anthony home
4. Land near Orlando International Airport (OIA)

Thousands of volunteers lead by 250 team captains will head out tomorrow morning in what TES representatives are calling the “largest search effort in U.S. history.” VIDEO

SAT, November 8, 2008 – TES leads group of volunteers in a search of a 25-acre area around the OIA for Caylee. They found nothing.

P.I. Jim Hoover claims he told Tim Miller to search in the wooded area off of Suburban DR near the Anthony home. He allegedly approached TES Volunteer, Bill Todd about a tip that someone saw Casey’s car parked near a patch of woods on Suburban DR, back in June 2008.

SUN, November 9, 2008 – Tim Miller of TES announces the search is OFF, Bounty Hunter, Leonard Padilla announces the search is ON.

LP said beads from a cross necklace found by a TES searcher in August resembled the beads Casey used to make jewelry.  The cross appeared to be placed on a tree in Jay Blanchard Park by the river as a memorial.  Divers are going in on Monday.

MON, November 10, 2008 – Tempers flare at Jay Blanchard Park after Leonard Padilla announced he would hold a Memorial Service for Caylee at the park tomorrow. G & C Anthony showed up at the park and created a scene.  Cindy stated that no one had the right to do a memorial for Caylee besides her family.  Dennis Milstead, founder of the Kid Finders Network (KFN) becomes confrontational with news reporters.

Tim Miller of TES announces he was disappointed with the volunteer turnout.  He also states that this is the final search for Caylee. TES will be leaving Orlando in the afternoon.  Tim said, “we are literally, because of this case, neglecting other families that really want our help.” TM also says Texas Equusearch is in debt. After the group’s two searches in Orlando, TES has spent more than $75,000 on equipment and staff.

Casey Anthony files a counter civil suit against ZFG for which she is seeking $15,000 in damages.

TUE, November 11, 2008 – LP and Minister Richard Grund lead a prayer vigil for Caylee at Jay Blanchard Park, Orlando, FL.  Joy W. holds a sign saying “Caylee Anthony is alive.”

Atty. Baez files a motion to allow the use of laptop computer in the OC Correctional Center.

WED, November 12, 2008 – Larry Garrison, the spokesperson for the Anthony family, resigned saying the Anthony family behavior is erratic. The Anthony’s said they fired him for accepting $6,500 from NBC without their approval.  Larry Garrison faxed Katherine Chan, NBC/Dateline billing them $6,500 for the use of pics on the Anthony story.

OC Clerk of Courts notifies Jonathan Kasen (Casey’s atty.) of need to pay court fees on the counter-suit.

THU, November 13, 2008– Blackwater Divers search for Caylee in the Little Econ River at Jay Blanchard Park.   A plastic bag with what appeared to be bones and toys weighed down with bricks, was recovered. However, authorities said the find had no evidentiary value to the investigation. VIDEO

Texas EquuSearch founder Tim Miller claims LP talked about how they both could make money if they found Caylee’s body. However, when the two men appeared on the Nancy Grace show, Padilla remembered the conversation very differently.

FRI, November 14, 2008 – Dr. Henry Lee on behalf of the Defense Atty. Baez examines Casey Anthony’s car. Police said they found evidence of human decomposition and a hair belonging to Caylee in the trunk.

P.I. Jim Hoover said P.I. Dominic Casey called him to request his presence at the KFN Meet & Greet which is being held tomorrow morning.  P.I. Casey instructed Hoover to meet him at his office in Longwood, FL.

SAT, November 15, 2008 – At 8:15 a.m.  P.I. James Hoover met with P.I. Dominic Casey at his office – D & A Investigations, Longwood, FL.  At that time P.I. Casey told P.I. Hoover that he knew where Caylee Anthony was…P.I. Hoover said, “ok, let’s go get her”…P.I. Casey then said, “she’s dead!”

According to P.I. Hoover, the only information P.I. Casey would disclose was he got the information about Caylee from a tip…. he did not name the tipster.   They drove to the wooded area in the 8900 block of Suburban DR, Orlando, FL in P.I. Hoover’s vehicle.  P.I. Hoover video taped P.I. Casey performing the search near the pavers in the woods.

10:00 a.m. – G & C Anthony attended a Meet & Greet at the KFN Command Center on Goldenrod near Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL.

11:30 a.m. P.I.’s Hoover & Casey arrived at event.   Lee joined them a little later.

4:00 p.m. – The Meet & Greet event ended and everyone left.

4:55 p.m. to 6:05 p.m. – Atty. José Baez visit with Casey at the OC jail.

SUN, November 16, 2008– P.I. James Hoover and Dominic Casey conducted a 2nd search of the wooded area of Suburban DR, Orlando, FL.

P.I. Jim Hoover video taped P.I. Dominic Casey in the yard of an abandoned house (previous residents were a Gonzales family). The mystery house address is 8718 Brackenwood DR, close to where Caylee’s remains were eventually found. P.I. Casey is there opening up trash bag, sifting, poking, slashing, seaming to searching for something.

Ginnette L. (psychic) claims she is the one who directed P.I. Dominic Casey there, but the P.I. Jim Hoover, who was actually shooting that video, said the directions she had given last night she claimed that she had given to Dominic Casey would not have gotten them to that house.

P.I. Hoover also says that P.I. Dominic Casey never mentioned anything about a psychic telling him anything. And P.I. Casey was very secretive about who he was on the phone with.

The other curious thing is that P.I. Dominic Casey, if he really thought he was going to find something there, he never called law enforcement to go to that house. And you see on the video how he went about his alleged search of that house – no gloves, digging and cutting things. He could have damaged fingerprints.

A Caylee sighting was reported at the FLORIDA MALL. A photo of a child was taken by a mall employee Halima S. according to myFOXOrlando.com.  Sometime between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. this child was observed playing with other children.

MON, November 17, 2008– Atty. Jonathan Kasen, representing Casey Anthony in the ZFG Civil Case filed a counter-claim on November 10^th.  Now the court fee has been paid by the defense atty., this civil case can proceed. Casey’s Atty. Baez called ZFG’s case “a frivolous lawsuit which was filed for no other reason but to harass and embarrass” Casey Anthony.

Atty. John Morgan responds to Casey Anthony’s counter-suit against Zenaida Gonzalez in an interview with a WFTV reporter.  He is preparing to depose Casey to ask her about her damages. He described how his client has suffered as a result of Casey’s accusation that ZFG was the person who kidnapped and possibly murdered her child. He also stated the reason for the ZFG defamation law suit, which is to clear Zenaida Gonzalez’s name.

The Anthony Family has hired a new PR Spokesperson, Michele Bart. Ms. Bart told News 13 they have legitimate tips and evidence that Caylee is still alive.  They plan to present this information in a presser later this week. Mark NeJame, atty. for the Anthonys, is also expected to be present at the presser, as well as members of the KFN and P.I. Dominic Casey.

LP is considering $200,000 offer to continue the search for Caylee. He has been contacted by a company that is willing to fund the search effort if Padilla is willing to give them exclusive rights to film his crew performing the search. At this time LP has not made a final decision to accept the offer.

MON, November 19, 2008 – Leonard Padilla, Bounty Hunter  raised $50,000 to continue the search for Caylee in Jay Blanchard Park. 

THU, November 20, 2008 – The presser was canceled.  The Anthonys said they could prove Caylee was alive, and were supposed to release details on this evidence during the news conference.

Atty. Mark NeJame RESIGNS.  He was not able to effectively control or influence what the Anthonys were saying and doing, therefore in a graceful and respectable manner, Atty. NeJame stated he could no longer represent them.

FRI, November 21, 2008 – Defense Witness list released:  Lawrence Kobilinsky, Henry Lee and Larry E Daniel.

The Anthony family releases a picture of a little girl playing to Central FL News 13.  They believe she could be Caylee. This pic was taken Sunday 11/16/08 at the Florida Mall.

“Everything we have: the evidence from the labs, the grand jury indictment, the FBI reports … they all say that Caylee is dead,” he explains. “It would be irresponsible for us to keep up false hope. The sheriff’s office will go with what the evidence indicates, and it indicates the child is dead.”

Officials at the OCSD issued a statement today that they will only follow tips leading to finding Caylee’s remains. They will no longer investigate Caylee Anthony sightings.  One of the other considerations, according to Carlos Padilla, is how a continued search for Caylee would affect the jury at Casey Anthony’s trail.

“If we continue to look for a living child, when we have all the evidence to the contrary, it can be used as a way to cast doubt on the jury,” he says. “We can be accused of still following leads and tips — so, the defense can claim we must think the girl is alive. The Anthonys, apparently, are trying to keep the doubt going– in that way, they can help save their daughter.”

SAT, November 22, 2008 – At 11:05:45 a.m. Larry Garrison sends e-mail to a friend with a reply message from Cindy attached. The subject is regarding Cindy giving Casey’s hairbrush instead of Caylee’s to the authorities.

MON, November 24, 2008 – The OC Jail announced a change in  its laptop policy. Starting next month private attorneys will be allowed to carry their laptop computers into the jail.

TUE, November 25, 2008  – Court Hearing: Judge Stan Strickland orders prosecutors to turn over all evidence to the defense. He also ruled that the defense can not test the hair found in Casey Anthony’s trunk because remaining portion of the sample is too small.

The ruling on the Prosecution’s request for a Gag Order to be issued against the Anthonys and Atty. Baez will be made (in writing) tomorrow after reviewing further arguments.

The FBI is investigating an email in which Cindy Anthony admits that the hairbrush she gave to LE was used by Casey and Caylee (NOT CAYLEE’S BRUSH ONLY!).

A controversial email dated 11/22/08 surfaced. It appears that the Anthonys’ former spokesperson, Larry Garrison, says he confronted Cindy by email about why she gave Casey’s hairbrush, instead of Caylee’s hairbrush, to investigators who wanted a DNA sample. Garrison said Cindy’s emailed response was: “I never lied. I just never went to my bathroom to get the hairbrush that I used only for Caylee.”

WED, November 26, 2008 – Judge Stan Strickland’s ruling on Prosecution’s request for a Gag Order. DENIED He wrote, “While this argument has some appeal, it does not rise to the level of being a serious and imminent threat to the administration of justice. Further, this court is confident that even with a ‘gag order’ the publicity and media attention would continue unabated.”

According to the discovery docs released today, someone performed Internet searches for “neck breaking,” “household weapons” and “chloroform” on the Anthony home computer.

On 3/17/08, someone used the Anthonys’ home computer to do Google searches for peroxide, shovels, acetone, alcohol and how to make chloroform. The search for how to make chloroform was performed between 1:43 p.m. and 1:55 p.m. VIDEO

Some of the information found on Casey’s computer related to the chemicals peroxide, acetone and alcohol, which can be used to make chloroform. During this timeframe, Casey was also searching missing children web-sites (e.g. Get Involved, Inc.)

Traces of chloroform were found in the trunk of Casey’s car, along with DNA evidence that suggests the dead body of Caylee had also been in there.

WED, October 1, 2008 – Casey Anthony’s status upgraded to “SUSPECT” in the Disappearance of her daughter, Caylee.

Private Investigator Dominic Casey, D & A Investigations terminated his contract with the José Baez Law Firm. [Note: re: P.I. Dominic Casey Interview w/LE on 1/7/09 p. 35]

LE interviewed Joy W. in reference to found property  – a blanket she found while searching for Caylee. She signed in as “Joy” and was appointed as a Team Leader with Texas EquuSearch in September 2008. Although she found the blanket approx. 3 weeks ago near a landfill 50 yards from a Lake [?], Joy put it in her boat and forgot about it until today. At the end of the interview, Joy admitted to the deputy that she had been Baker Acted 5 times. [discovery doc 6414]

FRI, October 3, 2008 – Investigators used cadaver dogs to search both wooded areas near the Anthony home and near the AMSCOT where Casey abandoned her car.  The other area is closer to OIA, where a driver told investigators she saw a car like Casey’s WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE parked in the median days after Caylee disappeared.

Atty. José Baez filed 8 motions. He hopes to convince Judge Stan Strickland in court Friday to allow Casey to “travel secretly to places of interest” to assist with the search for her daughter, Caylee Anthony. He is also seeking rulings on several other motions to address the following:

• Access to Casey car (1998 WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE) so the defense experts can photograph and test it.
• All forensic evidence, including but not limited to, choloroform; hair and DNA found in the trunk of Casey’s car.
• All of the forensic evidence from Casey’s computer and cell phone records.
• Polygraph testing of Casey’s friends and/or family members? If yes, Baez wants access to the polygraph equipment.
•  All information about any women named Zenaida Gonzalez whom they have investigated.
• AirTran manifest for an Orlando to Atlanta flight from July 2, 2008.

A court hearing is scheduled for 10/10/08 at 10:30 a.m.  Judge Stan Strickland presiding.

MON, October 6, 2008 – OCSD obtained a copy of the 11/18/07 Incident History Report.  This confirms Jesse G.’s account of Casey’s alleged seizure after a night of heavy drinking.  The 911 call was made from 3302 Arden Villas by Jesse G.  He also went with Casey to the hospital. Lee Anthony was served a subpoena by Sgt. John Allen. His mandatory appearance before Linda Drane Burdick, ASA is required on 10/8/08 at 11:00 a.m. to take a DNA test.

WED, October 8, 2008 – Todd Black, spokesperson for the Baez Law Firm said their investigators are out of state talking to a man and getting pictures of the Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez Casey says took Caylee. He claims the picture was taken at a park and has ZFG, Caylee and Casey in it. No information has been released at this point as to when the picture was taken.  Black added they have been trying to find the man who has the pic for weeks and they just located him and got in touch with him, according to a myFox Orlando news report.

THU, October 9, 2008 – G & C Anthony voluntarily gave up DNA samples this week so investigators could scientifically exclude either of them as the source of the hair and stain in Casey’s trunk.

FRI, October 10, 2008 – A court hearing to address multiple motions filed by the Defense Team. Atty. José Baez and co-council Atty. Jonathan Kasen addressed the court. Casey was not in attendance.

Judge Stan Strickland tabled three Defense Team Motions shown below:

1. Allow Casey to travel secretly to places of interest. Atty. Baez wanted to accompany her to the places she took LE and other locations without being under media scrutiny.
2.  Seal Casey Anthony’s home confinement schedule.
3.  To preserve forensic evidence and for the court to consider additional testing.

Defense Team Motions relating to inspection of testing of such items as the hair found in the trunk of Casey’s car, air samples, chloroform, etc. were GRANTED.

The founder of EquuSearch, Tim Miller, is at the Fairfield Inn near Orlando International Airport meeting with his staff, going over maps and trying to decide if he’s going to do two searches in Orlando at the same time.

Miller met with detectives at the OPD about the Jennifer Kesse case and he also met with Atty. Mark NeJame for five hours about the Caylee Anthony case. Miller and his staff will evaluate the ground conditions to see if they are conducive for conducting ground searches in Orange County at this time.

TUE, October 13, 2008 – Cindy still playing blemish. She said recent leaks concerning Casey’s case were about politics and the upcoming election. Cindy said, “I feel that a lot of what is going on right now is a political move on the State Attorney’s office, Lawson Lamar…..I feel that right now I think the reason these leaks are being let out, especially about the Grand Jury is because of the upcoming election.”

The search that Tim Miller of TES had planned on resuming to find Caylee Anthony has been suspended for now due to high water levels and dense vegetation in the targeted search areas.  He has decided to postpone the search until the first or second week of November.

TUE, October 14, 2008 – Casey is at home with Cindy awaiting the Grand Jury decision.  The Zenaida MySpace account with Dora the Explorer picture was last accessed by account holder.

George Anthony among others testified for the Prosecution at the Grand Jury Hearing. In approx. 30 mins., the Grand Jury 12 of 19 members voted a “True Bill” to INDICT Casey Marie Anthony.  VIDEO

3:30 p.m. After the Grand Jury Indictment, Casey & Cindy left attorney Jose Baez’s office in Kissimmee. Cindy was video-taped driving her SUV erratically in traffic and parking lots in an attempt to escape vehicles that were following them (LE). While under a bypass in a no-fly zone near the Orlando Airport, Casey jumped out of Cindy’s SUV and got into an SUV driven by a Bail Bondsman. Casey & Cindy later claimed they thought they were being pursued by the news media.

4:40 p.m. Pursuant to an order issued by Chief Judge Belvin Perry, Casey Marie Anthony was returned to  the custody of OC Corrections on charges of 1^st DEGREE MURDER, Aggravated Child Abuse, Aggravated Manslaughter and 4 Counts of Lying to Investigators about the disappearance of her daughter. She will be held under NO BOND.

Atty. José Baez gives presser….he lays the foundation for accusing LE of a conspiracy theory – “the powers that are working against her” and the news media of negative bias reporting. He stated, when they explain Casey’s version of events, “everyone will sit back and say now I understand.”  VIDEO

WED, October 15, 2008 – Amy H. stated she received a phone message at 3:35 a.m. The message said, if she didn’t get the charges against Casey Anthony dropped the damage would be irreversible. The caller also stated, he had her license plate #; knew the car she drove and her schedule.  This call appeared to have been made from a pay phone (212-840-8715) located in Manhattan, NYC.

Cindy Anthony{recorded in Orlando, FL }appear as guest on the Today Show on MSNBC with Meredith Vieira {NY}. “I know Caylee is alive…. I know my daughter…. There has never been any child neglect, child abuse or anything. This young lady loves her child, more than I love Casey,” Cindy Anthony said.

Casey Anthony made her initial court appearance on charges that she murdered her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. Casey appeared before Judge John Jordan, who read the charges against her. She made no comment during the 90-second hearing. Her atty., José Baez, declined comment afterward. She will be arraigned in about 30 days.

Todd Black, P.R. Spokesperson for the Atty. José Baez Law Firm did a phone interview with Mike Galanos (host) on CNN/Headline News.  He made the following comment: “The case is not just about the loss of the girl’s life, but the loss of whatever is going to happen with Casey Anthony.”

Atty. José Baez said Black is not a lawyer and is not included in meetings with Anthony and her legal counsel.  He claims Todd Black’s comments were taken out of context. “He does not have any legal opinions whatsoever. He’s [Todd Black] simply a spokesman for our firm,” Baez said.

FRI, October 17, 2008 – Casey Anthony entered a plea of NOT GUILTY to 1^st Degree Murder, Aggravated Child Abuse, Aggravated Manslaughter and four counts of Lying to Investigators about the disappearance of her daughter.

SAT, October 18, 2008 – Atty. Terence M. Lenamon visited with Casey in OC jail between 11:16 a.m. and 2:14 p.m.

TUE, October 21, 2008 – OCSO dropped the Child Neglect Charges against Casey Anthony because she is already charged with 1^st DEGREE MURDER.  The child neglect charges were based on the assumption that Caylee Anthony was still alive.

Criminal Defense Atty. Terence Lenamon from Miami has joined the Atty. José Baez Defense Team.  Atty. José Baez doesn’t have the credentials to try a DEATH PENALTY case.

A judge told Baez he could have access to view some of the forensic testing in the case. However, the FBI is conducting the testing in their labs and the judge has no jurisdiction over the federal agency.

COMPUTER FORENSIC CELL PHONE RP – 2ND attempt to extract info from Nokia RH-87, Model 2610 cell phone was conducted. Due to the software being updated on the Cellbrite device, additional data was extracted from the phone.  The data includes the ph book, call logs, incoming, outgoing and missed calls.  There are 391 incoming text messages.  [discovery doc p. 2850]

WED, October 22, 2008 – G & C Anthony (guests on live show in NYC) told interviewer Meredith Viera on NBC’s “Today” show they have not given up hope of finding Caylee Marie alive.

THU, October 23, 2008 – Amy H. filed a report with OCSO regarding the threatening phone message she received on 10/15/08. This incident was classified as witness tampering…suspect unknown.

FRI, October 24, 2008 ­– Forensic tests on the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car are released. The air sample tests show evidence of human decomposition, and that a hair found in the trunk is “microscopically similar” to hair found in Caylee’s hair brush.  The report also confirmed the presence of chloroform. 

Pastor Thomas Stutzman of the Eastside Baptist Church visited Casey at the OC Corrections Center.

TUE, October 28, 2008 ­– Casey Anthony was not present for her arraignment on murder charges of her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony.  Casey had already entered a written plea of not guilty; therefore she was not required to appear.

Judge Stan Strickland accepted the written plea and that means the state now has 15 days to hand over evidence to Casey Anthony’s Atty. José Baez.

Casey’s pre-trial conference is scheduled for 12/11/08 and the trial is scheduled for 1/5/09.

THU, October 30, 2008 – Someone saw George’s SUV parked near Hoffner AV.

6:15p.m. (approx. time) George was seen standing outside of his vehicle staring into the woods.  This area was searched in September by the TES team and continues to be an area of interest by LE.

FRI, October 31, 2008 ­– G & C Anthony signed a contract (Letter of Engagement) to retain the services of P.I. Dominic Casey, D & A Investigations Inc., Longwood, FL.  His primary mission is to look for Caylee. [discovery doc p. 8024]

OC Correctional Center officials warned Atty. José Baez  about hugging Casey during jail visits.

MON, September 1, 2008 – “We have scientific evidence back from the FBI lab,” Commander Matthew Irwin with the OCSO said. “We have other evidence we have not yet released publicly, all of that evidence at this point in its totality leads us to believe Caylee is deceased.”

Commander Irwin made the most direct confirmation of the evidence and went on camera to clarify the evidence.

TUE, September 2, 2008 – At 9 a.m. today the Limited Immunity offer by OCSO to Casey Anthony EXPIRED Casey’s atty. Baez was non-responsive.

Tony L. voluntarily took a polygraph test which was administered by the FBI.

In spite of mounting evidence to the contrary, Cindy still insists Caylee is alive.  She stated on the NBC: Today Show, “Casey is only guilty of poor judgment and lying.”

WED, September 3, 2008 – Casey is charged with 2 counts of uttering a forged check, 2 counts of petit theft, and 2 counts of fraudulent use of personal identification.

Amy H. said, Casey stole several checks and cleaned out her bank account while she was vacationing in Puerto Rico. OCSO said they were able to connect Casey with the checks using video surveillance from Target store(s) and a Bank of America branch office.

The McDonald Bail Bonds agency posted the $2,700 bond.  However, Casey WILL NOT be released from jail because her more than $500k+ bond for child neglect charges has not been posted.

Sources told WESH 2 the level of chloroform in her car was “SUSPICIOUSLY HIGH.” Casey started searches for how to make chloroform back in March 2008.

G & C Anthony met with high profile Criminal Defense Atty. Mark NeJame today.

After Tim Miller clashed with Cindy, he was considering calling it quits. Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary made a plea for searchers to stay. He pledged resources ($5,000, airboats and patrols, etc.) for TES  to stay and continue the search effort. Sheriff Beary also appealed for more volunteers to join the search for Caylee.  Tim Miller agreed to continue the search.

Today the lead investigator John Allen as well as several FBI agents, have been searching beside Texas EquuSearch.  The sheriff also announced more help  is coming – 80 alumni from the Civilian Police Academy, some civilian agency members and members of the Moose Lodge will all be coming out to help in the search.

THU, September 4, 2008 – Casey Anthony will be bonded out of jail Friday morning. Two bond agencies, Macdonald Bail Bonds, Kissimmee and Joe Von Waldner Bail Bonds, Orlando are working together to post the $500k+ bond.

George picked up a Taurus .38 revolver and a box of ammunition that he ordered on 8/29/08 from a local gun store. [discovery doc p. 2315]

Cindy has a dinner meeting with Commander Matthew Irwin in a restaurant. Their conversation is secretly recorded. Much of what Cindy says is based on her perception of how unfairly Casey has  been and continues to be treated by LE and the judicial system. Interesting to note Cindy complained about, among other things, a “missing zip drive“[thumb drive] that was usually on Casey’s key chain was hidden in the Anthony home attic.

FRI, September 5, 2008 – Bond documents show that G & C Anthony put up the collateral to bail Casey out of the OC Jail. The paperwork did not explain the source of the collateral but said the couple signed off on a “promissory note indemnity agreement” — essentially a contract that requires the parents to repay the Bond Bailiff for any losses.

Press Corp. Media (a public relations firm) representing the Baez Law Firm issued a statement. “An individual who wishes to remain anonymous posted bond for Casey Anthony because of concern that her constitutional rights have been violated” says Todd Black (aka: Gil Cabot) founder of PCM.

Casey is prepped for home confinement just in time for GEORGE ANTHONY’S 57th BIRTHDAY! She is out of jail on bond again!

SAT, September 6, 2008 – A spokesperson with the OC Corrections Department told News 13 they received a tip sometime between 12 midnight and 1 a.m. Saturday of a handgun present on the Anthonys’ property.

2:45 a.m. Investigators traveled to the Anthony home and removed evidence from a vehicle. OCSO deputies retrieve a handgun which was hidden in the wheel well in the trunk of George’s SUV. The weapon is being held by the OCSO for safe keeping.

Having a gun on the property is a violation of Casey’s bail, but since it seems Casey was unaware of the gun, she is not taken back into custody. Prior to her jail release, Casey signed a Condition of Home Confinement Agreement.

Later in the evening, a security company installed a surveillance system in the Anthony home.

SUN, September 7, 2008 – Apprrox. 1,200 volunteers search for Caylee over this weekend. However, about 1/3 of the targeted search area near the OIA was underwater after Tropical Storm Fay. Tim Miller said they needed to wait for the ground to dry before continuing the search.

 “If Caylee is out there and if we’re going through with four wheelers and horses, we may accidentally run over her cause she’s under the water or we don’t see her. We don’t want to push her in the mud or destroy something,” said Tim Miller. TES announced it was suspending its search for Caylee Anthony due to environmental conditions and concerns.

George freaked out on protesters! He pushed a young man and an older lady because they were standing in front of his house. The 65 y/o woman threatened to file charges on George. These two individuals were not standing on the Anthony property.

MON, September 8, 2008 – Lee drove Casey to the OC Jail for her scheduled meeting with her Home Confinement Case Manager. He shielded her like a bodyguard as they worked their way through the media crowd in front of the jail. Upon entering the jail (in view of the cameras), Casey gives Lee a HIGH 5!

Jesse mentioned that in September 2005 Casey told him of an incident when Lee attempted to have sex with her in the Anthony home.  She said it happened “recently,” but would not expand upon how recent. She didn’t feel comfortable with Lee being around Caylee.

He repeated the story that Lee had told him, which was that Cindy, confided in Lee that she believes Casey ran off because they got into a  “heated argument which turned physical – Cindy started choking Casey.”  This altercation happened at night in mid-June 2008.

Rob Dick, CA Bounty Hunter Deputy on the Leonard Padilla team appeared as a guest on the Nancy Grace Show.  He talks about Casey’s new twist to the story about where she left Caylee on June 16, 2008….. NOT at Sawgrass Apartments….Zanny took Caylee from her at Jay Blanchard Park.

Casey said she met with Zenaida in Jay Blanchard Park. While Casey and Zanny were talking, Caylee got in the car with Samantha (Zanny’s sister) and her two kids.  According to Casey, when she asked, “Hey, where’s Caylee going,” Zenaida held her back and told her that she was going to have to read this script for about 30 days. Casey also claims the script given to her by Zanny was the reason she had to lead LE on a wild goose chase.

WED, September 10, 2008 – Anthony R. voluntarily took a polygraph test which was administered by the FBI.

TVNewser received a tip that a news organization posted Casey Anthony’s $500,000 bond. Todd Black of Press Corps Media who is the Public Relations spokesperson for the Baez Law Firm made an announcement that the bond was posted by a single anonymous donor. “It is absolutely a bald-faced lie if anybody is saying a network paid for the bond,” said Black.

TVNewser contacted the broadcast and cable networks today and all denied posting the bond. However, the rumors were especially rampant regarding some sort of monetary transaction funded by ABC News. This network aired exclusive home video footage of the Anthony family on Good Morning America and on the 20/20 Show.

Hal Boedecker of the he Orlando Sentinel was first to report, “ABC News did not pay for interviews or the home video…but an ABC News insider tells TVNewser the network paid $200,000 to license “several hours worth of home videos and pictures.” Todd Black claims the Anthony family did not receive any of the proceeds from this deal.

Another network TV insider told TVNewser that Atty. Jose Baez attempted to “sell an interview“ with Casey Anthony last week …. asking price of $500,000. Todd Black stated, Casey Anthony does not have any interviews scheduled at the “immediate time.”

FRI, August 1, 2008– The OCSO deputies take several bags of evidence from the Anthony home, including but not limited to, 2 gas cans from the shed.

Atty. José Baez tells Local 6 news that he is angry with the OCSO, specifically Deputy Carlos Padilla, who reportedly told Nancy Grace that Baez had asked for immunity for Casey Anthony. “The police have just leaked one thing after another,” Atty. Baez said.

FBI Agent Nick Savage informed Detective Yuri Melich that the FBI Lab determined the hair collected from the trunk of Casey’s 1998 WHT Pontiac SUNFIRE exhibited stages of decomposition. The hair would be sent to another FBI Lab for Mitochondria DNA testing.

A fundraiser was held at Speed Park from 4 p.m. to midnight in Daytona Beach, FL to aid the search for Caylee Anthony and other missing children. George, Cindy & Lee Anthony were present.  Also present were members of the Kid Finders Network.

Casey submitted a jail list to only include Cindy, George and Lee Anthony as visitors.

SAT, August 2, 2008 – At 1:39 p.m. Casey placed a call to Lee from jail.   Casey said, “Can you get a hold of José and have him come see me as soon as he can, like today umm at some point?”

SUN, August 3, 2008 – George spoke with Casey about how different there lives are and will continue to be because Caylee was missing. He proclaimed that they [the Anthony Family] have joined a life club ….a Club of Missing Children (not by choice) and that when Casey gets out of jail and Caylee is home, they would “all work proactively to search for missing children.”

George visits one-on-one with Casey at the OC Jail. He asked Casey if she would be willing to talk to someone named Scott who works with an agency[FBI]. George attempted to encourage Casey to cooperate with the authorities either with or without Atty. Baez.  Casey’s main focus was, she wants to go home.

A heads-up from Lee:

• 1:17:25 p.m. Lee text message to Cindy:  “do u guys need me at the house prior to tonights vigil at 830? I was planning on being a little early. BTW – we should not speak of any letters from Casey.”
• 1:45:39 p.m. Lee text message to Cindy:  “Jose has individual messages to us from Casey that he wants to give to us tonight after the vigil. Would u guys be up for going to his office?”

MON, August 4, 2008 – Officials confirm that they have Caylee’s DNA

Corporal Edwards and Detective Mark Hussey of OCSO interviewed C & G Anthony separately.

George Anthony interview w/LE: describes in detail what Casey and Caylee were wearing on 6/16/08 as they were leaving the Anthony home at 12:50 p.m. [discovery doc pp. 2013 – 2016]

Caylee was wearing a pinkish color top; blue jean skirt; white tennis shoes and white rimmed sunglasses. She was carrying a white backpack with little brown monkeys on it. Her hair was in a ponytail.

Casey was wearing dress slacks (charcoal grey pin stripe); beige color (almost like an off white color) top. She was carrying a brown or black backpack.

No mention of what Casey & Caylee did prior to leaving home.  George only spoke in general terms about their morning routines. George said he was usually up at 7:30 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. after Cindy left for work. Casey and Caylee usually came out of their rooms around 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m.

Cindy complained about the lack of follow-up on Caylee sightings in GA, NY and about the way Sgt John Allen handled the interview with Ms. Wanda W. (claimed she and her son Nicholas saw Caylee on 7/2/08 at the Orlando International Airport).

Cindy admitted that she had removed Casey’s gray slacks from her car and washed them prior to making the 911 calls on 7/15/08.

When the discussion turned to Jeffrey Michael Hopkins, Cindy mentioned that she saw a picture of him approximately 2 yrs. ago in Casey’s phone and the contact entry name in her cell phone address book was “boyfriend.” Cindy’s theory is that Casey refers to her current boyfriend(s) – whoever her boyfriend is at the time as Jeff.

TUE, August 5, 2008 – Casey Anthony formally charged with Felony Child Neglect of A Child (F3-L6) and a Misdemeanor:  False Statements to LE Authorities (M1). An Obstruction of Justice charge WAS NOT filed at this time because it would be hard to prove.

The SAO released the following statement:  “While the State understands the importance of this information to the community, this office does not want to create the type of publicity that would lead to a change of venue. Therefore, we will not comment further on the case itself.”

Cindy skipped her scheduled visitation with Casey at the OC Jail.  George was seen carting bags of stuffed animals to the curb.

On the Record with Greta Van Susteren – C & G Anthony gives Interview in the Anthony home. Cindy also gave Greta the grand tour of the house and backyard. In Caylee’s bedroom, you can clearly see the Winnie-the-Pooh (bedding) motif.  VIDEO Part 1 & Part 2

Cindy told Greta the cadaver dog hit inconsistently in two areas in the backyard – area near the sandbox and at the corner of the house near the pool. When Greta asked if they believed Casey’s story, Cindy answered “yes, 100%” and George responded, “yes, 100%+)

The Anthony family posted an unusual help-wanted ad Tuesday. They’re looking for two volunteers willing to work without pay as personal assistants for George and Lee Anthony.

Your work wouldn’t be limited only to Caylee’s search if you apply. Lee’s listing says, “This is a jack-of-all trades position that may be cross-utilized in all aspects of the search for Caylee as well as any personal need of the Anthony family.”

Special Agent Anthony Ojeda, FBI interviewed Ms. Zenaida F. O’Rear regarding tip #399 stating that Casey said, “Zen” – Zenaida Flores Gonzalez was the alleged Nanny for Caylee Anthony.  Ms. Rear stated she did not know Casey or Caylee Anthony and had not been in the Orlando area for 3 to 4 years.  She has lived in her current residence in N. Miami Beach, FL since 1984 with her sister Josefina Flores, Maria Rouse and her seventeen year old son, Zachary. [discovery doc pp. 4793 & 4794]

WED, August 6, 2008 – LE follow-up at Sawgrass from initial contact on 7/16/08 and after a follow-up contact with the Sawgrass Apt. Manager Ms. Macklin on 7/22/08. She found a Zenaida Gonzalez on the guest visitor log in their computer system. ZG visited the apartment complex in June 2008.

11:50 a.m. Harry Garcia singed (typed narrative) statement –  “I recognized my handwriting on the Guest Card for ZG… we fill out a Guest Card for every person who visits the property….. I told him [the detective]  I filled out the Guest Card for Ms. Gonzalez.  [discover doc pp. 55 – 56]

Detective Mark Hussey, OCSO contacted Brionne C. Thomas, Tampa Police Dept. for assistance in following up on a lead in case #OCSO 08-074777 (missing Caylee Anthony case).  Officer Thomas went to the Security office of Tampa General Hospital and provided the staff with the name Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez; age range mid to late 20’s; involved in a car crash between 6/23 – 6/26/08. They also attempted alternate spellings of the name. No hits were found in their database.

In a TV interview, Cindy attempts to explain away the stolen gas cans incident.  Casey stole the gas cans because she needed them for her car “Plain and simple….she ran out of gas.”  She had a faulty gas gauge …. “Simple as that…. It’s irrelevant to this case,” said Cindy Anthony. [WRONG]

A reporter from WESH also questioned Cindy about the gas can incident. Cindy said this would be the last time she’d talk about this subject. Cindy admitted to telling Casey about George filing a police report for the missing gas cans. Casey confessed about taking them and told Cindy she would drop them off at the house and leave George a note apologizing for taking them. Casey did not expect George to be home. VIDEO

“As an authorized representative of Bank of America, I would like to request that all subjects responsible for this fraud be prosecuted….. At this time BofA has sustained a total loss of $ 664.25 with an exposure of $ 1,331.47 for the above stated forged instruments.” Per letter written by Sandi Greene, VP, Senior Investigator, Bank of America Corporate Security. BofA also requests restitution for these forged checks since they have  reimbursed the customer, Amy H.

THU, August 7, 2008 – Armed with a search warrant, a team of forensic investigators show up at the Anthony family home and removed several articles of clothing .  Cindy said these items had been in Casey’s car. They collected three pairs of pants, six shirts and two skirts from a closet in Casey Anthony’s room. Some of them have been washed by Cindy because they had a foul odor.  Cindy completed and signed a sworn statement for LE as she submitted some items that she believed the baby-sitter would have likely touched. [discovery doc pp. 6609 – 6610] The OCSO tested the items for fingerprints.

• Hair straightener – Casey claims Zanny gave her one
• Home videos – Casey claims Zanny gave her a few DVD’s
• Rubber football & soccer ball – Casey told Cindy these were Annabelle’s.
• Bambi Movies on DVD – Movies taken to Zanny’s  for Caylee to watch.
• Air bed – Cindy claims this inflatable bed was usually kept in the trunk of Casey’s car, but has been in the house for at least 2 months.

Local 6 news locates and interviews Zenaida Gonzalez.  Zenaida told the reporter that by Casey Anthony using her name in the story of Caylee being kidnapped; it has caused horrible things to happen in her life. Zenaida said she went to Sawgrass Apts. because they looked nice.  She did not know why Casey used her name and could not understand how Casey knew her.

Cindy Anthony told Local 6 news the wrong Zenaida Gonzalez was found. “This Zenaida is not the Zenaida,” She also said. “It was ruled out by the authorities. It was in the police report.”

Although she admitted to not having ever met Zenaida Gonzalez, Cindy told Local 6’s reporter, Erik von Ancken she would be willing to take a polygraph test to prove she is telling the truth about hearing the name Zenaida Gonzalez from her daughter [Casey] about two years ago.

FRI, August 8, 2008 –  A smiling Cindy pokes her head out the storm door and told the reporters that she had a “good feeling about Caylee coming home.”  Although she would not comment on the specific items taken from the home via a search warrant, she stated that some of those items were things she wanted them to have.  VIDEO

Although Cindy said she had never met ZFG, she heard the name from her daughter Casey two years ago. [Local 6 news reports]  Cindy said the wrong woman was found. “This Zenaida is not the Zenaida,”  …. It was ruled out by the authorities….. It was in the police report… there are nine other people named Zenaida Gonzalez in the area” Cindy Anthony said.

OCSO said Zenaida Gonzalez has no involvement in the case. “We don’t know how exactly how it is her name came up,” Deputy Carlos Padilla of OCSO said. “Was it a coincidence? We don’t think she is involved at all.”

Dakota S. a 12 year old girl (lived with her grandmother, Lois P. in St. Cloud) helped organize a Prayer Vigil for Caylee in St. Cloud, FL. George, Cindy and Lee Anthony attended.

SUN, August 10, 2008 – Casey cancels a scheduled meeting with her parents, the second time in three days she has refused to meet with her family.

MON, August 11, 2008 –Roy K. was assigned to read water meters in the Chickasaw Trail area.  He had a theory about Caylee based on Casey’s statement, “she’s close.”  He went into the wooded area on Suburban DR down the road from Hidden Oaks Elementary School. He makes a 9-1-1 call to report seeing “something that looks white and like a gray bag down there.”

Gale St. John and her Psychic Team joined in the search for Caylee.  They searched and cleared the Suburban Drive scene and the area near Lake Conway with cadaver dogs.

OCSO Deputies searched a wooded area near Lee Vista Boulevard and Narcoossee RD.

TUE, August 12, 2008 – For the second time in two days, Orange County sheriff’s deputies and K-9 units performed a search for Caylee Anthony. OCSO Deputies requested the assistance of Osceola County’s K-9 unit to search a wooded area near the Anthony home.

George took a mobile billboard on the road in hopes of finding someone who’s seen his missing granddaughter. George believes he’s in contact with people who claim they’ve seen her kidnappers. “These people know they are being watched. They know it,” George told Eyewitness News. VIDEO

9:11 p.m. Roy K. places a 2^nd call to OCSO to report a suspicious bag in the 8900 block wooded area of Suburban Drive. He was told to call the Crimeline and to make arrangements with LE to meet him at the sight in the daytime the next day.

WED, August 13, 2008 – Roy K. called OCSO for the 3rd consecutive day.  Deputy Richard Cain was the 1^st responding officer on the scene.  Roy pointed in the direction of the object in the woods and told Deputy Cain, “It’s right over there. It’s white. It’s a dome-shaped object. It appeared to me to be a skull.”

Deputy Kethlin Cutcher was dispatched at 3:32 p.m. to a suspicious bag on Suburban DR.  A white male [Roy K.] who looked concerned told Cutcher… “she told them she was very close.”  Cutcher did not go into the wooded area, but Deputy Cain told her it was “just trash.”

THU, August 14, 2008 – Upon arriving at the OC Jail Visitation Center parking lot, G & C Anthony were swarmed by reports. When asked by one reporter about the theory that Caylee may have died from an accident, George lost it! He yelled….. “shut up, shut up!…. if you don’t want to get knocked down, don’t come past here.” Cindy calmed George down as they entered the visitation waiting area.

George & Cindy visit with Casey at OC Jail. VIDEO It was an emotional jailhouse visit.  Casey said the visit with her parents made her the angriest she had ever been since the case started.

She was highly agitated and spent most of the time whining about how her life had been taken away from her….lots of me….me….me….I…I…I messages. “I’m not in control of this because I don’t know what the hell is going on……. my entire life has been taken from me. ….everything has been taken from me.”  Today Casey appears to be having an emotional meltdown!

C & G Anthony were on a mission to get answers about Caylee’s disappearance, which enhanced Casey’s frustration. She cried and threatened to walk away from the visitation unless her parents let her speak.  Casey’s message for Zanny was, “we forgive you.”

After the visitation, the Anthonys did not speak to reporters no matter what was asked. Casey took George’s suggestion about writing a letter to request a meeting with him ONLY. Casey addressed this letter to Sheriff Kevin Beary. The letter was stapled and given to an OC Corrections officer, then it was went up the OC Corrections chain of command and forwarded to Sheriff Beary, OCSO unopened. Upon reading the letter in the presence of Sgt. John Allen, Sheriff Kevin Beary gave the order to arrange the meeting between Casey and George.

6:59 p.m. George was picked up and taken to the OC Jail by OCSO deputies. In the partol car were Detective Yuri Melich, Sgt. John Allen, OCSO and Spc. Agent Scott Bolin, FBI.  Detective Melich turned on the audio recorder prior to George getting into the vehicle.  Surrepticious Recording of George en route to visit Casey upon her request. George waited about 1 1/2 to meet with Casey, but SHE DID NOT SHOW. The meeting was canceled. Atty. Gabriel Adams of the José Baez Law Firm was with Casey at this time. [Note: It is believed that Atty. Baez and/or Atty. Adams may have advised Casey to not have this meeting with George]

Atty. José Baez files a subpoena to obtain information about the cadaver dogs that were used by OCSO deputies.

FRI, August 15, 2008 – Two Private Investigators Edward Phlegar and Dominic Casey meet with Casey. Both work for the José Baez Law Firm.

SUN, July 20, 2008 – A video taken by Eyewitness News shows the HENKEL brand duct tape on the Anthonys’ CAYLEE POSTER display at a Command Center, in the parking lot of Publix at Lake Underhill Road & Chickasaw Trail, has the same unique markings as the duct tape on the Anthonys’ red gas canand the duct tape found over Caylee’s mouth. 

After the vigil, Cindy entertained several of Casey’s friends. This was the 1st meeting.  In attendance were Annie D., Chris S., Dante S., Kristina C., Sean D., Lauren G., Stephanie K. and a couple of other people.  Chris S. gave Cindy some of Caylee’s things which included a bag with Caylee’s “scuba-style” swim suit with a life-vest sewn into it; inflatable swimming armbands; hair accessories and other items.

Cindy called Tony in an attempt to get information from him regarding what Casey had been doing for those 31 days after Caylee was last seen.  On the advice of LE, Tony declined the invitation to meet with Cindy alone and he opted out of this group session, as well.

Annie D. volunteered to set up a 2nd meeting with Cindy Anthony to include more of Casey’s friends.

MON, July 21, 2008 – Megyn Kelly, news reporter on Fox News conducted a phone interview with Cindy. Cindy was combative and highly unresponsive to questions. VIDEO 

Cindy called Sgt. John Allen and left a voice-mail message, in part, requesting LE to show the recent picture taken of Caylee in a “blue dress” with the reddish colored curtains in the background to Casey’s friends to see if anyone would confirm her (Cindy’s) belief that this was Zany’s apartment. [Note: She later learned from a jail visit with Casey that this apt. was Ricardo M’s]

José Baez holds a presser in which he states the denial of bond for Casey Anthony was an “Incorrect Ruling.” He motioned the court for an emergency bond hearing (scheduled for 7/22/08) with Judge Stan Strickland presiding.

LE takes strands of hair, of which one was plucked from Casey’s head and 4 buccal swabs to use for DNA testing.

Investigators collect items from the Anthony home including a toothbrush, hairbrush, comb, and thermometer Caylee used to name a few. [Larry Garrison later exposes Cindy for giving LE a hairbrush that was used by Casey and Caylee, NOT JUST FOR CAYLEE] The evidence collected for DNA testing was tagged and reported by the OCSO Forensic Section. TUES, July 22, 2008 – A 2nd Bond Hearing was held for Casey Anthony as a result of Atty. José Baez challenging the constitutionality of her being held w/out bond.

During the court proceeding, Corporal Yuri Melich testifies about the search of Casey’s vehicle. “Briefly, just before I came into the Child Abuse Division, I was a homicide detective for two years with the OCSO and in my experience, the smell that I smelled in that car was the smell of decomposition,” Corporal Melich stated.

Cindy, George, and Lee Anthony testified. When Cindy was on the witness stand, she looked directly at Casey and made the comment…… “there is no evidence…”

While under cross examination, Corporal Yuri Melich testified that there was no direct evidence that proved Casey had anything to do with Caylee’s disappearance.

HH Judge Stan Strickland rules:  Judge Stan Strickland set Casey Anthony’s bond at $500,000 and ordered Home Confinement. She must wear a GPS monitoring device; complete a psychological evaluation w/in 30 days and turn over her passport prior to being released on bond. “Not a bit of useful information has been provided by Ms. Anthony as to the whereabouts of her daughter,” Judge Strickland said. “And I would add that the truth and Ms. Anthony are strangers.”

WED, July 23, 2008 – A new court order was issued changing the conditions of Casey Anthony’s release. She will be released on home confinement w/electronic monitoring set up by the OC County Corrections System and she would only be able to leave the home with permission. She must also hand over her passport and have a psychological evaluation by 2 separate doctors within 30 days of her release.

Casey Anthony will be monitored at the Anthony home by an electronic device strapped to her ankle. This has a transmitter (proximity device) that lets authorities know if sjhe leaves home. It operates on a radio frequency which is linked to a device on the home phone. She must stay within 150 feet of the receiving unit to be considered in range. 

A $225,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Caylee’s safe return. In the recording broadcast arranged by the Never Lose Hope Foundation, George Anthony tells listeners that the reward for information leading to Caylee’s whereabouts is now $225,000 — a $100,000 increase thanks to local businessman Peter Benevides, according to MyFOX Orlando.

Cindy invites approx. 13 new and old friends of Casey’s to the Anthony home as part of her own investigation and to share information.  Annie D. made the contacts with Casey’s friends for this meeting. Amy H. got a text from Annie D. stating Ms. Anthony wants everyone to meet at her house tonight at 8 p.m. Amy H. invited Ricardo M.  Cindy stated, Ricardo M. was the only one who did not participate in the discussion and appeared very uncomfortable.

Jesse G. sent text to Amy H. that Tony L. will not be going to the meeting at the Anthony home. He will only talk with detectives.

THU, July 24, 2008 – Atty. José Baez, files a Writ of Habeas Corpus, asking that Casey be released from jail so that she can aid in the search for her daughter.

In a 75 min. interview conducted by LE, Sgt. John Allen told George there are 1200 pictures in Casey’s Photobucket account. [This account was opened on 4/2/2007]

Someone attached a link which will allow anyone to see the pictures.  He also pointed out the fact that NOT ONE PICTURE was of a ZENAIDA! George also mentioned Casey’s story about being robbed at gunpoint when she worked at the Sports Authority located at SR 436 {Semoran BV} and RT 50 {Colonial DR}. [LIE]

FRI, July 25, 2008 – Atty. José Baez mentioned to members of OCSO his interest in pursuing Limited Immunity for Casey if she were to make another statement to LE.

LE interviewed Ricardo M. He claimed Casey called Caylee’s Nanny Zany.  When he inquired about Zany’s real name, Ricardo M. said Casey told him it was ‘Zenita.’ [discovery doc p. 1282] When asked about a pic of Caylee with a bruise under her eye, he stated it was due to an accident – Caylee ran into a table in his apartment on 1/23/08.

Ricardo M. recalled a time (not the specific date) during the period when they were dating between Feb – April 2008 when Casey and Caylee were there at night but when he woke up the next morning Caylee was not there. Casey told him that her mom called during the night and wanted her to bring Caylee home.

Casey’s family visits her in jail.  She admitted to feeling “extremely guilty” about stealing Amy’s money. Casey provided G & C Anthony with a description of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez’s car.  Cindy questioned why it appeared that none of Caylee’s clothes and things were missing from her room.  Casey’s response was ZFG had a “lot of money” and had everything Caylee needed like clothes, socks, toys, etc. [LIE]

Cindy asked Casey about LE showing her a photo line-up…Casey did not recognize anyone….Casey said police did not show her a “picture of that girl down in Kissimmee, FL.”

Cindy asked Casey, does Zany have a sister named Josefina that she may be living with in Miami?  Casey’s response was, “NO.” She also asked Casey if there was a specific date to backtrack to….Casey asked for clarification(she didn’t understand the question). Cindy said, “the last time you saw Caylee?”….then Casey’s response was , “June 16th.” Cindy asked, “has anyone been in our house?”  …..It was possible because “a long time ago I told you she had a key,” Casey said. Lee writes an email to LE. In the email Lee quotes Casey regarding her employment which LE was later unable to confirm.

SAT, July 26, 2008 – Casey phones her brother from jail. During the conversation she states that she believes “Caylee is still OK.”

12:33 p.m. Lee sent an e-mail to Detective Yuri Melich, et al with detailed description of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez; some of her relatives’ names; the type of car she drove; and other information Cindy, George and he were able to extract from Casey. [discovery doc p. 388]

Casey offers to work with the FBI to make a composite sketch of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. “She’s [Casey] been wanting to cooperate with authorities; she just doesn’t trust the local authorities. She would be willing to speak with the FBI,” Cindy Anthony tells WESH.com.

SUN, July 27, 2008 – The Anthonys held a prayer vigil with the community.  Nearly 200 people gathered at the Anthony family home to honor the missing toddler, Caylee Marie Anthony.  Despite the rain, the Anthony’s front yard was filled with people who showed up for the prayer vigil. After standing in the rain for about an hour at the vigil, Richard and his wife Debbie Grund were invited into the house.

10:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. While waiting to speak with George, Richard G. talks with Lee. Below are some interesting insights from Richard G. (Jesse G.’s father).

• Geo. had originally invited Richard G. to come to the house so they could talk
• Richard G. asked George why he wasn’t doing what an ex-cop would do
• George admitted to Richard G. that he knew Casey had no job – he spoke of the time he went to Sports Authority and learned she did not work there
• Richard G. pressed Casey about making new baby-sitter arrangements in the April 2006 timeframe. She proceeded to tell him the whole ZFG story as we know it today.
• Jesse G. paid a cell phone bill for Casey. She paid him back with a $250 bad check. Cindy’s reply according to Richard G. was, “well she only did it once.”
• When Richard G. mentioned that even though Jesse was not Caylee’s bio-dad he was willing to accept her as his own. Cindy’s response according to Richard G. was, “nobody put a gun to his head.”
• When Richard G. asked Lee about a Kyle K. it was at that point Lee blocked Richard G. out of Casey’s MySpace and discontinued contact with him
• Richard G. said, Lee told Jesse that Cindy wrapped her hands around Casey’s throat the night of 6/15/08. He was not sure if Lee was telling the truth.
• Stephanie K. showed up at the vigil wearing an AMSCOT shirt.

MON, July 28, 2008 – an inmate at the OC Correctional Center claims he had a 2 or 3 minute conversation with Casey as she walked by at approximately 8:30 – 9 a.m. Travis N. thinks she was on her way “downtown.” He wanted to know where the baby was. Travis N. said, “I asked her through a holding cell, what’d you do with your baby?” He said Casey replied while smiling as she said, “I didn’t do nothing to the kid. My ex-boyfriend has the kid.” Investigators were unable to corroborate this story.

9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Lee Anthony speaks with Casey on the phone at the OC visitation center.

TUE, July 29, 2008 – Atty. José Baez, asks a judge to stay the release of visitor jail house recorded conversations, 911 tapes and visitor logs to the media.  DENIED!

9:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. C & G Anthony visit Casey in the OC Jail

1:00 p.m. ASA Linda Drane Burdick sent e-mail to Atty. José Baez about the possible use of immunity for his client, Casey Anthony if she were to make another statement to LE regarding her daughter, Caylee Anthony. Ms. Burdick was open to discuss this matter with Mr. Baez in the interest of finding Caylee, but she pointed out he would need to proffer anticipated testimony before any further discussions of immunity would take place.

5:56 p.m. – 7:40 p.m. Tony L. met with Lee Anthony in his car in the parking lot of a local Subway restaurant.  LE detectives installed 4 cameras in Tony L.’s car and strapped a wire to him in order to secretly record this conversation.

Lee Anthony didn’t seem to have any inside information about what happened to Caylee, but he questioned Casey’s honesty. “I just don’t know if I can believe what she’s saying, you know,” Lee told Lazarro. “Obviously it seems like; it seems like, number one, she wasn’t looking for Caylee. She says that she was.”

Atty. José Baez Subpoenaed Casey’s MySpace and f/b records.

Cindy appeared on the M & J Show. She claimed there were no doubts for 30 days about where Caylee was because she was with her mother until 7/15/08.  Cindy said she spoke to Casey everyday.  Cindy told the hosts of the show that Casey has always been a “responsible and excellent mother.”

However, Cindy failed to mention that Casey stopped by the Anthony home on 6/24/08 (the day George retrieved his gas cans from the trunk of her car).

Cindy also stated that the lead cadaver dog [K-9 Gerus] hit inconsistently in their backyard (i.e., playhouse and sandbox)….the dog never hit in the same place twice.

WED, July 30, 2008 – The Fifth District Court of Appeals (3-Judge Panel) in Daytona Beach reviewed Atty. Baez’s appeal of the $500k bond, asking that it be reduced to $10k. DENIED!  The State Attorney General supported this decision. Later this afternoon, Atty. Baez was in the process of filing the appeal with the FL Supreme Court.

2:02 p.m. FBI SA Duke receives call from Corporal Yuri Melich who said Tony L. had been cleaning his vehicle and discovered a piece of paper in Casey’s handwriting, between the front seat and console.  It contained directions to 501 Sparrow Hawk Cove, Chuluota, FL.

• She came to this session with Nick Savage (Lead interviewer) with her notebook full of documents.
• Cindy started in airing her grievances about the way OCSO was handling the investigation; the excessive $500k bond; concerns about how Casey was being treated and loading them up on her own theories based on clues she believed Casey was trying to give her.
•  She also complained about clerical errors and misstatements in the discovery docs and how the news media were leading the public to believe this information was evidence.
• Cindy talked about looking into her address book – found a yellow sticky with “Zany’s phone number” (a phone # given to her by Casey) written on it and gave it to a ‘Black’ OCSO Detective.
• Cindy said there was a “bag” [handbag] that Casey took to work sitting on the front seat of the car, which she found suspicious because most women do not leave their handbags anywhere.
• Cindy claims there was a lanyard (green shamrocks and white beads) with her Universaal ID on it hanging on the rearview mirror in Casey’s car. She strongly suggested that the OCSO Detetives took it without accounting for it.  [Note:  In her Depo by Prosecution – 7/29/09 Cindy admitted to finding the lanyard in her bedroom in the Aug./Sept 2008timeframe.  She claims to have turned it over to Atty. Baez].
• Cindy provided some background information that may not appear anywhere else in this timeline of events.
• Cindy and George were separated for 6 mos. Timeframe:  November of 2005 to EO June of 2006. George moved in with his family living in Ft. Myers, FL.
• Cindy claims Casey told Lee about Caylee being taken from her at J. Blanchard Park. [LIE] Cindy nervously described how Zany and Zany’s sister took Caylee at J. Blanchard Park….She said, Casey claimed Zany knocked her to the ground and said, “listen B!tch I’m going to teach you a lesson… you’re not getting Caylee back.” [Note: video tape 4 of 11 @ 17:45 mark] Lee claims Casey told him the J Blanchard Park scenario a couple of days after Casey was bailed out of jail. Casey was released from jail and placed on home confinement starting 8/20/2008.
• Amy and Ricardo told Cindy that Casey actually planned the trip for Puerto Rico and made the reservations.
• Back in December 2007 or January 2008, Cindy said Casey told her Zany and some of her friends lost a lot money in the stock market. She also reflected on Amy H.’s mail being sent to the Anthony home. While exploring possibilities of people who may have had a motive to take Caylee, Cindy arrive at these conclusions – Zany=Amy or Jesse or Ricardo. [discovery doc p. 7603]
• Cindy claimed during the 3 – 4 yr. period of Casey knowing Zany, her address has changed at least 3 times and phone number also changed frequently.  The address Cindy found in her kitchen and gave to LE was 232 N. Glenwood AV.  Initially, she strongly suggested this was Zany’s apt. She showed Nick Savage a picture of Caylee in a blue dress sitting near drums. THU, July 31, 2008 – During an interview with Cindy by the media, she stated the OCSO had informed her that the story by the inmate [Travis N.] was FALSE because Casey was never near male inmates during the whole processing procedure. She also told the media they need to check their facts and to do more responsible journalism. Cindy emphasized the need for the media to keep the focus on finding Caylee Marie.

Corp. Eric Edwards & Yuri Melich interviewed Cindy.  Among other things, Cindy spoke about Caylee’s father who was only known to her as “Eric”. Cindy claims their Atty. Paul Kelley helped them draw up paperwork for custody of Caylee.  Cindy never met or spoke with Eric and knew only that he died based on what Casey told her. [discovery doc p. 2302]

Cindy told investigators that they could get Eric’s last name from the custody papers, which she promised to submit, but never did.

Atty. Paul Kelley claims he has no file created for this request and he had no further information regarding who “Eric” was.

George Anthony’s video-taped interview by FBI.  Typed transcript [discovery doc pp. 7878 – 8000] George provided some background information that may not appear anywhere else in this timeline of events.

• Casey DID NOT GRADUATE with her Colonial High School Class of 2004.  According to C & G Anthony, Casey came up ½ – 1 credit short. She did not go to summer school to make it up nor did she get a G.E.D.
• G & C Anthony separated in 11/2005 – 6/2006.  He moved into his parents’ home in Ft. Myers, FL.  He claims the separation was due to him getting involved in an on-line gambling scam. Sold his 1989 Camry in 8/2006 for $4,000.
• George said Casey took money from Cindy’s account on-line, from her purse, and using her credit cards.  Casey also imaged a deposit slip in the amount of $4,400. This bogus deposit slip caused the mortgage ($700) payment to bounce.  George also mentioned that Casey had borrowed about $400 or $500 from Ryan P. and probably never paid him back.
• Casey stole money from Caylee’s savings account that George had set up for her.  She also stole money out of Caylee’s piggy bank. George talked about his suspicion that Casey had not worked in 2 years and that she was being very irresponsible with money.  She did not contribute to the household in a financial way and never kept gas in the car.
• George found a resume for Casey showing she was employed 2004 – 2006 at Kodak/Colorvision at Universal Studios.  Casey typed “NANNY” as her occupation starting in 2006.  George told her she could not do that because she had not actually worked as a nanny and people would ask her for references.
• George said Caylee did not ever mention Zany and she did not respond when the name was called.  She did not recognize the names Zack, Annabelle, Jeff either.  However, she did recognize Uncle Lee (“E”) and his girlfriend Mallory (“Mowy”) P.

SEEKING JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY

TUE, July 1, 2008 – This is the 2nd day of Cindy’s vacation. Casey avoids contact with G & C Anthony by allowing most of their attempted phone calls to go to voice-mail.

10:00 a.m. When Ricardo M. woke up, he saw Casey sitting on the couch talking with Amy. He was not sure if she had spent the night. Ricardo M. could only chat with her for a couple of minutes prior to getting ready for work. Caylee was not with Casey.

10:15 a.m. Casey is calling Jesse G. asking to use the shower. Casey’s explanation was, she was staying at Tony’s place but did not have a key to get in and she could not go home.

10:39 a.m. Casey arrives at Jesse G.’s apartment. Caylee was not with her. After she took a shower, Casey watched TV and chatted with Jesse G. His roommate, Rick O. comes home and meets Casey for the first time.

8:00 p.m. Dante S. saw Casey at Millers Ale House in Waterford Lakes. Jeffrey Dale H. noticed Casey was with about 5 or 6 guys he recognized from high school.

Prior to this date, Jeff Dale H. had not seen Casey for about 1 year (not including knowing of her during the middle school and Colonial High School days). Casey approached Jeff Dale H. to greet him and Gabe F., and then she invited them to the Fusion.[discovery doc pp. 5136 – 5137]

WED, July 2, 2008 – This week Casey moved in with Amy H., Ricardo, and JP (232 N Glenwood AV) while Tony L was on vacation in NY. Casey stole $400 from Amy H. Casey told Amy H. that she hid the money from herself while sleep walking. [discovery doc p. 1057]

Casey gets a tattoo – “Bella Vita” (La Vita Bella – Italian phrase meaning the beautiful life) designed on her left shoulder blade by Bobby W. (Tattoo Design Artist) at Cast Iron Tattoo Shop. Sean D. saw Casey at Cast Iron Tattoo acting as if nothing was wrong. Caylee was not with her.

Amy H. and Casey go to a couple of clubs. They went to the Voyage Night Club (Blue Room) at 17 West Pine St then to Mako’s at 27 W Church St, Orlando, FL and back to the Voyage, then home.

A Caylee sighting was reported by Wanda W. and her son, Nicholas at OIA. Wanda W. took an Air Tran Airways flight (#862) to Atlanta. She claims a child who told Nicholas her name was Caylee Marie “Antny” got on the same flight. A composite sketch was drawn of the child and the woman.

THU, July 3, 2008– Troy B.’s girlfriend Melissa E. was visiting from VA. Since Troy B. had to work, Melissa E. spent 5 hrs. with Casey (NO MENTION OF CAYLEE) during the day and later they all went out together.

8:16 a.m. – 12:11 p.m. Several phone call attempts were made from the Anthony Home phone to Casey’s cell phone. Casey did not respond.

8:10 p.m. Cindy called Lee and told him she was worried because Casey was not returning her calls today and that she had not seen her or Caylee in a couple of weeks. She asked Lee to help find Casey.

Lee contacted Annie D. via MySpace. He told her G & C Anthony had not seen Caylee and Casey and they were worried. They just wanted to make sure everything was okay. Lee asked Annie if she had heard from Casey and if she was staying with her. Annie texted Casey immediately. Casey replied, “everything is fine…..my parents are crazy…I talk to mom everyday”

Lee contacted Michelle M. via MySpace. He told her no one had talked to Caylee in weeks and no one has seen Casey in quite a while. Lee asked if she had seen Casey or Caylee. Michelle M. found it odd since Casey had been posting new photos to her facebook page. Lee found out that Casey was going to be at the Dragon Room in downtown Orlando, FL. Brian L. asked Michelle M. to go with him to help find Casey, but she declined.

She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother’s love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. Maria K. (Clint H.’s girlfriend) said Casey asked her to go to the Dragron Room, Maria K. went but Casey never showed up.

Lee called Casey and let her know he was aware that she was not in Jacksonville, FL instead she was actually in downtown Orlando, FL. Lee conveyed their parents’ concerns about her and Caylee not coming home for a while now and he wanted to meet up with Casey to find out why.

Troy B., his girlfriend Melissa E. and Casey went to a The Lodge at 49 N. Orange AV, Orlando, FL. Troy B. observed Casey’s extreme mood swings. He said prior to learning Lee was trying to find her, Casey was jovial, carefree and loving life! However, after the interaction with Lee on the phone, she became visibly upset. They left The Lodge because Casey did not want Lee to find her. [discovery doc pp. 1329 – 1330]

1:38 a.m. Lee’s attempts to contact Casey by phone calls and text messages lasted until 3:08 a.m. the next day. Mallory also made a few attempts during this timeframe to get Casey to talk with her.

FRI, July 4, 2008 – INDEPENDENCE DAY! Casey DELETED her My Space comments for the period of 4/24/08 thru 7/4/08. There was a very large gap of comments that have been deleted for this period, according to Lee.

Amy H.’s friend Will W. invited her to his 4th of July party and she brought Casey as her guest.

3:00 p.m. – Casey and Amy arrive at Will W.’s house. They help with putting up the decorations, and then went out to get beer and food.

3:17 p.m. – Casey called Jesse G. to inquire about his plans for the 4th of July. Jesse asked Casey about what was going on between her and the parents. She said, “I’ll probably talk to you about it later once I get drunk.”

Will W, Amy H. and Casey go to a liquor store (Total Wine & More. located at 2712 E. Colonial Drive) to purchase a bucket for the keg……Casey did not have her ID….so they would not sell to her. [discovery doc p. 1405]

Casey spends the evening partying and hanging out with friends at Will W.’s house party. Then they watched the fireworks at Lake Eola located downtown Orlando, FL. Afterwards, they returned to Will W.’s house and remained there until 1:30 a.m.

Casey told Will W. that Caylee was with “NaNaw” not the Nanny, but NaNaw. (Will W. thinks NaNaw is Cindy) … told Amy H. Caylee was at Sea World … told Jesse G. that Caylee was at SeaWorld with the Nanny.

SAT, July 5, 2008 – Casey shows up at Will W.’s house at 9:30 a.m. She spends the day with him up until it was time to pick Tony L. up at OIA.

12:00 p.m. Will W. and Casey ate lunch at Zaxbys; went to Target nr. the Millennia Mall and then to Ikea, they were done by 4:00 p.m. They talk on the phone up until she arrived at OIA to pick up Tony L.

MySpace page “Kaseeomaree” – Casey writes to Mark H., telling him she is so glad he is coming home and he has no idea how “f’n happy” she is.

5:13 p.m. Casey went shopping at Best Buy at the Fashion Sq. Mall to purchase a welcome back home gift (CD) for Tony L.

5:41 p.m. – Casey is driving Tony L.’s SUV Jeep Cherokee en route to the OIA to pick him up. While chatting with Will W. on the phone Casey runs the SUV through a CITCO car wash located on Semoran BV near the airport.

Casey & Tony L. joined a group of approx. 12 of Casey’s friends (Sean D., Annie D., Iassen, and others) at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Waterford Lakes. The event: UFC Fight Night. Iassen stated this was the last time he saw Casey before she was arrested.

Tony L. said, 2 – 4 times during the next 10 days Casey wakes up in the middle of the night in cold sweats from nightmares.

George purchased the cement for a yard project at Lowes located on SR 436 and Pershing. A new concrete slab or pavers were installed in the back yard at the Anthony home.

SUN, July 6, 2008 – This is the approximate date that Casey claims she last spoke with Jeffrey Michael Hopkins.

12:52 p.m. Troy attempted to contact Casey regarding the trip to Puerto Rico, but Casey texted Troy to let him know she was with Tony.

MON, July 7, 2008 – The Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment Casey issued on 5/8/2008 for $574.60 from Cindy’s BoA checking account to AT&T Cellular was debited back to Cindy’s checking account. George started a new job with Andrews International. He is working day shift (work schedule 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. ) today.

Around noon Mr. Crisp ran into Casey at Subway Sandwich Shop off of University and Goldenrod RD in Winter Park, FL. He noticed Casey was driving a dark color late 1990’s model SUV (make & model?). She told him the SUV was her boyfriend; Tony L.’s who was out of town. [LIE]

They talked about what they did for their Independence Day Celebrations and he asked about the little “Munchkin,” Caylee. Christ S. was dining with a friend at Buffalo Wild Wings at Waterford Lakes.  Casey texted him saying, “Hey I hope you’re enjoying your date.” She came over to their table to say hi and went back to her friends, Sean D. and Iassen D.

[LIE] Casey saved this phone # in her cell phone address book as UNIVERSAL. Actually, the number is from a collection service for AT&T/Cingular to inform of late payment and shut off procedures.

THU, July 10, 2008– A few minutes before 10 a.m. Casey entered the Target located at 3770 N. Goldenrod RD, Winter Garden. She purchased a hoody, push-up bra, white sunglasses, and other items for herself, but nothing for Caylee.

10:33 a.m. Upon checking out, Casey forged chk. #143 in the amount of $137.77 [LE acquired store surveillance video tape]

11:10 a.m. – 12:00 noon Casey goes shopping at Target store located at 325 N. Alafaya Trail (Waterford Lakes) wearing a different top and a pair of white sun glasses. Casey wrote the third chk. #144 in the amount of $155.47 from Amy H.’s checking account. [LE acquired store surveillance video tape] Ann Marie C. (Mark H.’s Mom) saw Casey in Target on Waterford Lakes.

6:30 p.m. (approx. time) Will W. texted Casey again because she had not responded to any of the 3 text messages he sent earlier today. Will W. needed to confirm reservations he made for them to go on a helicopter ride at SawIsland.  Approx. 20 minutes later Casey texted a reply to Will saying, “I can’t make it sorry.” Casey claimed she was with “NaNaw.”

Casey told Mark that she was planning a trip to CA….had to tell him something. She told Cindy and Lee, but was not sure how he would react to what she had to tell him.

FRI, July 11, 2008– an attempt to deliver a certified letter notice from the postal service was left at 4937 Hopespring DR, Orlando, FL. The name Johnson’s Wrecker was on the notice.

2:21:30 p.m. Casey uploaded an image of a quote by Tupac on her Laptop computer. It basically says don’t out-think a situation and just move on!

In a phone conversation with Casey, Troy B. asked her if she was going on a trip to P.R. Casey told him “NO” because she had to find a place to live and that she was looking for a new car.

7:02:09 p.m. Casey runs thru toll CONWAY (EB)… caught on camera.  Later in the evening Casey goes to Fusion.  Jamie R. confirms that Casey is at Fusion on this night doing her NO PAY Shot Girl Manager job. An incident ensued where a guy (patron) scratched Erica’s (fill-in “Shot Girl”) stomach. After this incident, all of the Shot Girls were asked to leave.

Cindy said this is the only day she did not speak to Casey all day. Casey led her to believe that she and Caylee were coming home tomorrow – 7/12/08. Jeff and Zack were going to be in Jeff’s car following Casey home to make sure she got there okay. [LIE]

9:00 p.m. Cindy claims Casey called wondering why she had not called her today. [Note: There is no record of Casey making this call on her cell phone]

SAT, July 12, 2008 – Casey wrote the fourth check from Amy H.’s bank account.

9:58 p.m. Casey writes the fourth chk. # 145 in the amount of $92.62 from Amy H.’s checking account payable to Win-Dixie #2383 at Unigold Shopping Center – 7580 University BV, Winter Park, FL.
