The post Joshua Brown only witness Amber Guyger case dead! first appeared on The Published Pen.]]> Joshua Brown who is a key prosecution witness during the Amber Guyger murder trial and the neighbor of Botham Jean, was gun down at an apartment complex in Dallas on Friday evening.

Police  received a call around 1030 to that Atera apartments on the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road. Several people flag the officers down who directed them over to Brown.

Brown had no identification on him so he couldn’t be immediately identified.

Witnesses told police they heard gunshots and saw a vehicle speeding out of the parking lot. The car is a silver  four-door sedan.

Civil attorney Lee Merritt said that Brown was ambushed as he was leaving his vehicle and was shot at close range.
