“We wanted to provide a short update following the holiday weekend. We have an important week ahead with more milestones to accomplish. God’s hand is working. Your prayers are working! Our son remains in intensive care, under sedation and under close monitoring as we stay patient to allow him to heal.

Thank you for continuing to respect our family’s privacy through this unimaginable time. We remain steadfast in our faith and praise God for His miraculous work in our lives and for your love, prayers and support. Thank you so much and keep praying!”

We have good news to share with you all on this Good Friday! Our miracle child Landen is showing real signs or recovery. New test results have been positive, though he remains in intensive care with a long road ahead. Our faith in God, and our Savior Jesus, is strong and we are gaining more reason for optimism day by day. We continue our request for privacy as we focus on Landen and thank you for respecting our wishes. Just know that we all feel your overwhelming love, prayers and support – He is answering our prayers and they ARE working. Please continue to pray for Landen and his family, every single prayer is important. Thank you so much from all of us and have a blessed Easter weekend.

The power of prayer is simply amazing. We all have been extremely humbled by the outpouring of support and prayers from everyone one. Thank you for showing us there is so much good not only in our community but across the globe. Condition is again similar to previous days, another peaceful night of sleep – small steps towards the healing process. Each new day is a good day. Landen’s recovery is expected to be ongoing for a long time, while it’s hard to estimate costs, this will change everything for their family and require much of their time and focus. Many people continue to want to offer support and have asked me to raise the goal amount again, so I’ll continue doing so. The family cannot express how grateful they are for all of the prayers, love and support that they are receiving. There truly aren’t enough words! During my most recent visit with Landen, holding his hand revealed a calm and warm aura in his room, one that likely is contributed from all of the immense outpouring of prayer and support from everyone across the globe. His condition has very little change at this point, but we are hoping to get some good news back from some upcoming tests in the next few days. The family is continuing to request privacy during this time. Please continue to keep Landen in your thoughts and prayers, together we can all come together to help heal Landen! Thank you so much everybody for your continued support through donations and prayers! We are all completely overwhelmed with the love and support that has come our way during this tragic time. The family has asked for continued privacy during this time, but we want to keep everybody updated to how Landen is doing. He had a peaceful sleep and is still continuing to fight his courageous battle, he’s a strong survivor! No other significant updates at this time, but please continue to keep him in your prayers. Thank you everyone who was taken the time out of their lives to hear and support Landen’s story. We have removed his picture as there have been multiple people trying to copy this GoFundMe page and the family is still requesting privacy and has elected at this point not to share photos at this time. The recent update from the Bloomington PD was accurate, he is in stable condition, contrary to the rumors and attention seekers out there stating that he has passed . We will update as the family wishes, but please refrain from posting any private information until the family is ready. You have no idea what they have been through and we are asking for everyone to respect their wishes. Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda is charged with attempted murder for throwing a 5 year old from the 3rd floor at the Mall if America [MOA]. He is currently in the Hennepin County jail.

The 5 year old boy, Landon suffered life-threatening injuries, and no,word on his condition.

According to witnesses they heard a woman scream that someone had thrown her son over the railing, which is a 30- to 40-foot fall. Police say officers performed CPR on the child, who was taken to Children’s Minnesota.  There is no connection between Aranda and the boy.

Aranda is not new to law enforcement! In July 2015 incident where he threw an object from one of the floors at the MOA. Aranda was arrested for obstruction, disorderly conduct and damage to property, according to the Bloomington Police. Later that same year, he had two altercations at local restaurants, including one in which he refused to pay his bill. In a separate 2015 incident, Aranda threw a glass at an employee at a restaurant and was arrested and charged with trespassing, fifth-degree assault, obstructing the legal process and disorderly conduct!

In 2014, Chicago police say he threatened to slit the throat of an employee at a Golden Nugget restaurant.

But, at a different Golden Nugget he was charged with a handful of crimes, including aggravated assault.
Chicago Police say Aranda was using the restaurant’s telephone to check funds on his debit card. A 39-year-old waitress told him she was going to call police if he did not pay his bill. He became enraged and, investigators say, he struck her with the phone. There is a warrant for his arrest in Chicago.
