According to Birmingham police, more than 400 tips have come in for Kamille since she went missing. But what they are looking for is more specific information! They are looking for an address, a tag number, first hand accounts and no rumors!

Crime stoppers usually receives about 50-60 tips a week.

Every tip Crime Stoppers receives is reviewed! Many of these tips have made a significant difference in cases and lead to arrests.

Retired Sheriff Ted Sexton says he thinks whoever has the child is likely searching for information about this investigation.

Again here is the video police released last week. The video shows 2 kids playing, one of them is believed to be Kamille. First man walks by the children without stopping. The second man has a unique limp, and comes along a short time later and both children leave with him.

Police say the video’s time stamp is incorrect but the video was definitely taken about the time of Kamille’s kidnapping. Police believe the first man is a witness and would like to talk with him about what he may have seen. The second man is a suspect in the case. Police Chief Smith declined to reveal if they have located that man or id’ him.

➡️ Birmingham Police Department, Fire and Rescue personnel, and additional surrounding agencies and volunteers searched a 2 mile area just north of Springville near Huffman Road starting a 1 pm. According to officials, the search concluded around 5:30 p.m. and did not yield any evidence to aid in the investigation. [Sunday 20 October 2019]

➡️ Attorney Emory Anthony and Adam Danneman public defender stated that their clients Patrick Stallworth and Derick Brown had nothing to do with missing Kamille Mckinney. Stallworth was released on bail for unrelated charges. Brown remains in custody on unrelated chargers.

➡️ Birmingham police went door to door at the Tom Brown Village complex, handing out flyers with Kamille’s picture.

➡️ Kamille’s parents spoke separately to reporters pleading for her safe return.

➡️ Authorities are searching beyond state lines for Kamille.

➡️ About 8:00 pm Sunday, someone called 911 after finding the Toyota Sequoia. A resident of Center Point condominium complex and his girlfriend were taken into custody as persons of interest. The male who is detained was the man captured on store surveillance video.

➡️ Kamille was reported missing 3 hours AFTER her abduction.

➡️ Kamille was with her mother, April Thomas, and other family members at the birthday party in a parking lot off 41st Place North.

Kamille McKinney attorney’s for two detained

Attorney Emory Anthony is the attorney for Patrick Stallworth, who is a person if interest in the case of missing Kamille McKinney, told a news conference that his client had nothing to do with the disappearance of Kamille.

“Stallworth is just taken back that he’s considered a suspect in the disappearance of this lovely child,” Anthony said to WVTM News 13! Anthony said his client isn’t involved with anything related to Kamille.

Adam Danneman is a public defender whose office represents Derick Irisha Brown, he released a statement:

“Like everyone in our community, Ms. Brown is horrified about the ongoing tragedy involving Kamille McKinney. However, she adamantly denies having any personal knowledge or playing any role, direct or indirect, in this child’s abduction. We understand that this is a sensitive and timely issue, and it is easy to rush to judgment upon seeing someone’s face plastered on a news story involving a missing child. However, no evidence has been presented to indicate that Ms. Brown had any involvement in Kamille’s abduction. Both Ms. Brown and our office hope and pray that this child is safely returned to her family.”

Kamille McKinney missing, rewards money $33,000

I will provide an update on the case later on today.

The reward found for Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney has been upped to $33,000. If you remember this week the Governor of Alabama Kay Ivey also announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator and the location of Kamille.

CrimeStoppers announced an additional $20,000 reward for any credible tip to solve the crime. Yesterday the Jefferson County Commission voted to add $8,000 to the CrimeStoppers reward. This reward is $1,600 from each commissioners’ funds.

Kamille McKinney update Patrick Stallworth released

Patrick Devone Stallworth was released on bond! His bond was set at $500,000 for 7 counts of child pornography. Stallworth has 2 prior arrests for marijuana in 2004 and 2013.

From jail records he was released at 0322!

He has not been charged in connection with Kamille’s disappearance.

Seems there is no bond listed on Derick Irisha Brown inmate paperwork. Brown is accused of abducting her 3 children from Alabama Department of Human Resources custody.

The reward money for information about Kamille McKinney has been upped to $25,000.

Governor Kay Ivey announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Kamille’s kidnappers. Birmingham city authorities and Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama announced a separate $20,000 reward. Donations from private citizens and businesses. You can donate on their site here! Kamille McKinney update 16 October 2019

Birmingham police received a tip that Kamille was located at Marland Apartments in the 2700 block of Jefferson Ave. Authorities spent several hours searching apartments. Sgt. Johnny Williams confirms that Kamille has not located!

Police arrived just before 9:30 am. Police and family members of Kamille said they received some tips where Kamille might be and this area is one of them. Lakesha Simpson, Kamille’s grandma, and Dominic McKinney were at the scene.

Officers cleared each apartment and conducted a thorough search. Residents had to leave their apartments. One resident was holding a small child, which led a crowd cheering the girl was Kamille. It was NOT Kamille!

Two held in connection to Kamille McKinney on unrelated charges

Two people in police custody in the disappearance of Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney have been charged in unrelated cases!

Patrick Devone Stallworth was charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography with intent to distribute. The pornography was found on Stallworth’s cellphone. He’s being held on $500,000 bond.

Derrick Irisha Brown is being held on a probation revocation with no bond. Her probation was for an unrelated kidnapping.

Police have not found any connection between the two and Kamille’s family.

Investigators are waiting for DNA evidence to determine whether Kamille was ever in the vehicle!

MONDAY UPDATE: Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey announced Monday she is in discussions with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office to finalize plans for a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Kamille’s disappearance.

SUNDAY UPDATE: Police have revealed they are questioning two suspects over the disappearance of the Alabama toddler who was abducted from a birthday party Saturday night. Birmingham Police Chief Patrick Smith announced today that authorities have two persons of interest in custody. He said there’s no immediate connection to the persons of interest and Kamille’s family, and he believes there are more suspects involved in her kidnapping.

INITIAL: Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney went missing Saturday from a birthday party.

Kamille is black, 3 feet tall and weighing 60 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. She last seen wearing a pink T-shirt with a leopard print Mickey Mouse face and leopard print shorts. She did not have shoes on at the time.

Cupcake was abducted on Saturday while she was attending a birthday party. Its been said that she was offered candy.

Two suspects are in custody and being questioned.
